Matt was possibly the most customer service oriented business person I've dealt with in awhile. He took my call, scheduled me in a timely manner, offered competitive rates, and delivered my piano without damage. He was beyond courteous, kind and professional. We received reminder and confirmation calls as we were told we would. Everything was executed to the schedule provided. I contacted Matt on Monday, 3 days before the actual baby grand piano move, and he was very responsive to my request. Matt and his helper Paul showed up at the pickup site on schedule, was very professional and careful in the home with hardwood floors and with disassembling and packing the piano. Delivering the piano was went just as smoothly, again making sure that the hardwood floors were covered and protected, reassembling the piano and positioning the piano to a desirable site. Matt Vogt Piano and Organ moving is my first choice if I need to move my piano and the cost of service was very reasonable, $295, to move 16 miles. Read the reviews and judge for yourself you will not be disappointed.

He was very friendly and moved the piano very professionally. He even dropped a couple of things at three location.

They were fast and knew just what they were doing.

They did a very professional job and positioned my piano exactly where I wanted it. I must say that I found the service particularly expensive for about 15 minutes of work. There was no dismantling of pedals or anything other than picking the piano up to place on piano pads to push about 10 feet. I realize it takes a lot of effort but I still expected it to be more in the range of $150.

Matt called me back within 2 hrs and was able to provide the services I need within 3-4 hrs. Both him and his helper were very professional and knew what they were doing. Very punctual, they were there exactly the time he said they will be. Very reliable.

I owned an antique Decker Brother's 1890 upright piano that would not fit in the new home I was moving into and so I had decided to give it to my cousin. At the time I lived in Carmichael and since he lives in the hills of Grass Valley, I needed to hire a professional piano mover. I called several piano moving companies and Matt was the first to call me back, about 5 minutes after I left a message. Matt was more than willing to work around my and my cousin's busy schedule, we set the move date for the Friday after Thanksgiving. He was very thorough in making sure he knew exactly what kind of steps, etc, his crew would encounter at both homes. Matt and his crew arrived exactly on time. They dismantled and wrapped my piano in record time (less than 10 minutes) and had the whole thing secured in their trailer, almost before I knew it. They had to drive some very winding roads up in the hills; they navigated some hair pin turns and one lane bridges and still arrived at my cousin's house at the estimated time. My cousin told me he was impressed with their professionalism and the fact that, despite the fact of having to drive up through the hills, the piano was in excellent condition, nary a scratch or dent from the journey. I would recommend anyone who needs to move a piano (antique or modern) call Matt. No fuss or muss, just professional service with a smile.

Went well. Matt and another man carefully loaded the piano into the truck and I followed him to our new house where they unloaded the piano and placed it where I asked.

Matt returned my phone call within an hour. He took down all the logistics of the job, quoted me a price, and was able to pick-up and deliver my piano that very day. He and his assistant are very professional and personable. I was very pleased with their work and would hire them again.

We needed to have our piano moved out while floor work was being done in our house. Matt was very prompt in returning call and setting up a pickup time for the following day. They showed up on time and took great care of the piano both moving it out and returning it several weeks later.

Matt and his helper picked the piano up as scheduled in Tracy, CA. Piano arrived in Lincoln in excellent condition, with no damage at all. Trip was made in a reasonable amount of time.

They were very good and very careful. They come and size up the properties to get a game plan of how they are going to move it and they work in sync with each other. They make sure it is wrapped and protected and place it exactly where you want it at the new place.

He doesn't sub-contract, he picks up the piano and takes it to the people that crated it, and those people charge me for crating. Then the piano gets freighted from there and the freighting people charge me, then the piano company delivers it on the other end. I pay Matt Vogt his part here and the others on the other end. Everything went excellent, except that it was very confusing on who gets paid when at the other end. I think everything went a lot quicker than anybody had anticipated. The piano got there fine and everything is kosher.

I have some tricky stairs and he was able to get the piano in and not damage the floors. He arrived on time to do the work, returned my phone calls when I called him, gave me good information on tuning the piano and was very professional.
