Nina gave me a quote and was very responsive. She followed up the day before. Nice. The installers were right on time and we discussed the install. They put the TV where I wanted it and hooked it up correctly. However, upon completion, he said that he forgot to bring his vacuum so there would be some clean up. I said that was okay but they hadn't put down anything to catch the drywall dust and I couldn't get it out of the grooves in my wood flooring. There was also a long unused cable sticking out of the wall, wound up and just laying on the floor. I immediately sent an email with pictures to Nina. The installer emailed me and offered to come over and scrub my floor. He also said that they don't usually remove the unused cable. I never dreamed that they would put the cables in the wall and then leave one 10 ft. long sticking out. I would have also offered them my drop cloth if I'd known I would spend time with a tooth brush trying to get the white stuff out of my floor. No one from the company has contacted me only the installer.

Adam and his crew was very considerate, helpful, nice, and polite. They have really good manners. I felt that they were honest about pricing both labor and equipment (75 percent of the equipment we bought from him was lower than anywhere in store or online by 10-15 percent. The rest where the same price). Although I was skeptical of some of their equipment choices at first, the equipment turned out much better than what I had previously had in mind. We also had tons of existing equipment, Adam was not pushy on new sales and worked hard to incorporate existing equipment. The quality of work is very nice. With the amount of cabling pulled throughout the house, there were many holes. Socal home theater however was able to repair the drywall to the original condition. I highly recommend So Cal Home Theater, if I ever need anything done in the future Audio video related I will call them up.

Everyone at So Cal Home Theater was friendly, helpful and professional. We were very impressed with the customer service throughout the entire interaction. I called for an estimate and Nina promptly arranged for Adam to come out to do the estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable and suggested in great detail the best way for the project to be completed. (We have been put off by interactions with other installers who we also considered to do the work.) They honored the 5% Angie's list discount, and returned a quote for the job the next day. So Cal Home Theater not only gave us good advice but also a very fair cost estimate, which included very competitive prices on a Yamaha receiver and universal remote, which we purchased from them. We subsequently scheduled the install for 2 weeks before Christmas, but the night before we decided on some changes we would like. This involved moving all our current audio/video components into a closet and running all the wires through wall and ceiling into that closet. This should have extended the work period by 1 day, but despite this being the very busy holiday period, the crew worked with us to get the job completed in record time. Alex and Adam arrived at the installation appointment on time and worked extra hours to get it done effectively and efficiently for us and for just a nominal increase in labor cost. The installation involved mounting a 55" HDTV on the wall, installing 7.2 surround sound system with wall mounted speakers, and running cables to an adjacent closet where the components are located. They ran everything inside the walls only making a few openings to get the cables to where they needed to be. Afterwards Alex talked me through using the Universal remote to control TV, DVD player, CD player and several video game consoles. Despite the late hour he didn't leave until everything was explained, and all of my questions were answered. He even encouraged us to not be afraid to call if we needed any further assistance. The job also included patching and texturing of the holes they had to put into the walls and ceiling for the install which was carried out a day later. All at So Cal Home Theater are true professionals. They were punctual, friendly, neat and clean, and very knowledgeable. The installation went quickly and smoothly. We are extremely pleased with the work completed and highly recommend them to anyone with home theater installation needs. We will certainly use them again!

I called So Cal Home Theater for an estimate and spoke to Nina over the phone who took my information and set an appointment for an in home estimate. Adam came out to do the estimate and described in great detail how the project would be done. Adam gave me a very fair estimate and I chose So Cal Home Theater over three other bidders. Adam and his crew arrived at the installation appointment on time and seemed to complete the work very quickly. The install involved mounting a 65" HDTV and soundbar above the fireplace, installing an outlet behind the tv, and running three HDMI cables to an adjacent wall where the components are located. They ran everything inside the walls having to only make a few openings to get the cables to where they needed to be. After they completed the install, they walked me through on how to use the TV with the soundbar. The work included all the patching and texturizing of the holes they had to put into the wall for the install and after paint, the job looks completely custom and professional. I am extremely pleased with the work they did and highly recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.

After installation of the new receiver, Alex connected the receiver to our wi-fi. He checked all components to be sure they were operating correctly. This included 4 areas in our home--living room, master bedroom, den, and outdoor patio. The electronics were receiver,TVs, DVD player, 11 speakers in various places, and head phones. He set up Pandora Radio on the system, and patiently showed us how to use the remote for all components, especially Pandora, Net Radio, (these were new to us) and zone 2 speakers. Alex didn't leave until everything was explained, and all of our questions were answered. Also, he encouraged us to call if we were unsure about anything or had additional questions.

The techs were professional and efficient. We had some problems after - not related to the work or equipment, mostly just us needing to learn how to use the system. The guys were great about coming back and answering questions after the job was complete. Excellent work, excellent customer service.

Tech Alex was right on time, very professional and knowledgable. Fixed problem within an hour. I would definitely use them in future.

They ran cat line from our home office to the living room, installed the router, flat screen TV, blue ray player, internet receiver for music services and speakers for surround sound. Plus, they provided the best remote control that controls all of the components and is super easy to use and understand, even for me! This is one of the best improvements we've ever made to our home. These folks are pros. They were on time, neat and clean, and installed everything in one day. After installing all the components they took the time to show us how everything operates. The folks at So Cal Home Theater, and especially Alan were friendly and professional. Mine was a big job, but there was no up-selling, just spending time to ensure they came up with the best solution. I've had the system (TV and projector, receiver, blu-ray, in wall speakers, HD tuner, RF universal remote) for over a year now, so I've had plenty of time to appreciate the quality of the equipment and install. They showed up on time, took only slightly longer than anticipated, and were easy to talk to along the way. I was a bit picky about cable management at the receiver, but Alan came back after the job was finished to re-do it to my satisfaction. The only reason I gave them a "B" on price instead of an "A" is because I only got two quotes, so I didn't have a huge basis for comparison. The electronics I purchased through So Cal Home Theater however, were excellent prices- less than on Amazon. In the end, I got a clean, user-friendly home theater that works really well for my family.

Amazing. With such an overhaul there were a few glitches, but Alan and the team were tireless in fixing it...I have asked them to come back twice since then to do additional AV projects because they are that good!! Really appreciated walking through the details, then performing and installing exactly what they said that they were going to do. Always on time, always responsive, very good results.

I was very impressed with the customer service that So Cal Theatre performed throughout our interaction. They immediately honored the 5% angie's list discount, were very prompt with sending out someone to go over what we wanted and returned a quote for what we discussed the next day. I was interested in saving some money on the speakers in our master bedroom because we did not care as much for quality back there and they allowed me to go to their soundroom to pick out the best speakers for the best price. They did have technical issues when I was at the showroom, only the left speakers would play and the right would not turn on so I did not get to hear the full system at once which was a bummer. They sent an email the next day with the updated quote including the new speakers I picked and also discounted an additional $75 off for the inconvenience at the showroom. When the installation came around there was a miscommunication and I thought the job would be done in one full day, but when I followed up they said it would take a full day to install and then they would have to come back the following morning to program everything and go over the training. I was disappointed as we had scheduled a dinner party to watch Thursday Night Football after the installation was supposed to be complete. They came back and said no problem and sent out 3 people at 7:00am the morning of to make sure they were wrapped up before our guests came over. It was a VERY long day for them to fit it all in and they never complained and did a great job in great time. Very happy and will continue to recommend them to others in the future.

Nina was our point of contact person and was always prompt in answering our questions and scheduling the appointments. Adam arrived promptly at our home to give us an estimate and recommend the type of receiver that would best suit our needs. He then returned a couple of days later with the new receiver and hooked it up to our tv and other components. Alex is the programing wiz and he made sure that our new universal remote could operate everything. Then the most important step took place. Alex very patiently taught us how to use everything, especially the new remote. Everything has worked as it should since the installation. We did have a small question a couple of weeks later and called the office. Alex returned our call quickly with the answer. We would definitely use So Cal Home Theater again.

I called a few companies on Angie's List for an estimate. Adam from So Cal Home Theater came out and gave me some really good ideas. Since my dad was sued by a worker at his house who fell off a ladder. I learned that I have to do my own background checks on all contractors. I was surprised to learn that the company with the most reviews on Angie's List doesn't even have a contractor's license! Anyway, So Cal Home Theater's price was fair and all their credentials checked out so I went with them. They showed up on time and kept the area clean during the whole process. We also got a universal remote so the system is really easy to use. Alex spent a long time teaching me how to use the equipment. I can turn everything on and off with one button even my lights. Everything just went very smoothly. I highly recommend them!

Alan and his crew are very skilled in all aspects of making you true visions come true. On time, budget and great to work with. Provider did not show up for our scheduled appointment, and wasn't aware that we even had an appointment until I called their office to let them know that no one showed up. It is very unprofessional when people change their schedules for appointments and no one shows.

Everything was done on time and they were professional. I want to elaborate on how clean they were too- very important to me. They were clean, friendly and polite. Everything went off without a hitch and things were explained to me entirely. I am very happy with my choice to go with so cal home theater and with my end result! My home experience is so much better now thanks to them!

Adam arrived on time in the early morning and finished 2 hours later. The install was performed in a professional manner with attention to detail. Alex arrived on time and carefully listened to our description of the problems we were having with our system. He went right to work and set up our new Blu-ray player. We have been watching movies from Netflix almost every night.

long story short... they were great, I called and talked with mike and he sent a guy out on short notice and he was very nice, smelled good too. It was about an hour and everything was done. He helped me setup everything and showed me how to use the citrix box. overall happy and will use again if I move again in san diego .

Things could not have gone better. We thought we would need a new dish among other things, but Alan's team fixed our problems without having to replace any equipment. I don't have any don't s to offer. We would highly recommend Alan and So Cal Home Theater.

We were totally pleased with the work done. All wires were hidden in the wall as we requested. They were clean, knew what they were doing and polite. When they left everything was functioning and all we had to do was touch up the wall with paint in 2 small areas. No spackling, no sanding. It looks perfect. Well worth the price.

From the very first phone call to the completion of the job, I have been impressed by the level of professionalism and expertize demonstrated by Alan and his team.
