Adam installed new recessed lighting, he mounted my TV, ran all of the cabling/wiring, and he designed and installed my outdoor sound system. All of the work was done in spectacular fashion. Adam is professional and his work reflects that. I 100% recommend Adam and So. Cal Home Theater. You will not be disappointed!

It went very well. Adam installed one floodlight camera on the porch and one above the garage. Now I have great views of my porch and yard and there is an audible ring sound when any deliveries arrive. I am much safer when everything outdoors is visible day and night. In the past 5 nights since the cameras were installed, I have had one huge skunk near my porch, 4 raccoons crossing my driveway single file, and the same big cat walking around. During the day most of the videos are of people walking their dogs. Adam set all the software up and showed me how to use everything. I could never have done it myself and he was very patient and thorough. The cameras are great and very entertaining during this very boring pandemic shut down.

Adam and So Cal Home Theatre did a great job. Running the CAT-6 was not easy in all places yet it was all done perfectly. Tested and labeled. The TV was mounted exactly where I wanted it and Adam even ran an extra HDMI cable and a couple of spare CAT-6 cables to the TV. Adam even mounted my two access points for me. I did all the network configuration though. I can highly recommend So Cal Home Theatre for any of you work.

I couldn't have gone better! Tech. was knowledgeable and very courteous. The work didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would.

I am very happy with the service. Competitor quoted twice as much and wouldn't agree to troubleshoot old receiver first. Super friendly and great to work with. Highly recommend these guys!

So Cal Home Theater came to our home to give us on a price for the work we wanted done. He made good suggestions and we liked his recommendations. They came back to do the installation, which turned out to take longer than anticipated because of problems with our home network and one of the televisions. They stuck with it until everything was perfect and did a great job of explaining the equipment (we are technologically challenged). We are very happy with the work they did.

Very good but the surround sound failed because Sonos equipment. Javier Avitia with his coworker were very professional and they did an excellent job and left the place very clean.

I was delighted with their service. Adam helped me select the best TV mount and sound bar. They arrived on time with the TV mount and worked very hard until everything was perfect. All wires are behind the wall, and when the TV is pushed back to the wall, you can't tell anything is there. The TV mount and sound bar look great on my wall, and the work was so clean I don't even need to repaint behind the TV. My wall included a complex and rickety speaker system for my home audio, with the wires running on the wall behind the TV. They fished the wires behind the wall, extended the wires with quality splices, and tested out all the speakers, all at no extra charge. The bracket they helped me choose is a huge Chief swivel mount that allows my 70" TV to swivel a full 90 degrees so I can watch from my home office. They didn't mark up the $650 price for the bracket at all. My setup also includes an HDMI cable use to hook my laptop up to the TV. My 15 foot cable was too thin, and they replaced it with a thicker 20 foot cable from their truck - it works much better!

We were so impressed with the quality of their work and attention to detail. The owner of the company showed up to give us a quote for the work the very next day and started and completed the job two days later. Honestly, we had talked to a few other companies and were procrastinating having the work done because the quotes were so high, but we decided to get just one more quote from this company and I am sooo glad we did. Their price was much more reasonable. True professionalism and work ethic. I have recommended them to many many friends and will continue to do so.

They were very efficient, professional, and resolved all my problems.

We had gotten a quote for the same work earlier in the year from another company. Their quote was $1400!!!!!!!!!!!! We didn't want to spend that much money so we decided to explore our options and thank God we did!!! One call to So Cal (plus a quick photo texted to the office for estimate purposes) and we got an estimate for $300. They were so low that I told them about the other quote and they were beside themselves. So I booked then and there 3 days later they hung the TV and their drywall guy is here right now patching two holes about 1/2" by 6". The drywall repair was an extra $150 (without painting) but with what I saved on the actual install I could hire a professional painter to blend the drywall patching in.

Adam and Alex did a great job. They were early, thorough and neat. Also very helpful in explaining some of the intricacies of the TV mounting and variation between cable providers. Great experience all around.

They install went great. They showed up right now time and immediately got to work. The speakers were quickly installed and cables run through the walls or ceiling. They did the whole install, made sure everything worked properly and gave a complete instruction on the entire system. And, they did it all in less than a day. If I had done this myself, it would have taken me weeks!!

The team at So Cal Home Theater was fantastic to work with. I called a few other providers who were local to Orange County, but all of them were slow to respond, or didn't seem that interested in the job. The office staff was quick to respond to my email inquiry, I emailed that at night and Nina gave me a call the following day. They answered emails and returned phone calls quickly. It's this attention to detail that makes projects go smoothly and they exceeded everyone else I contacted. Their bid was also one of the lowest, but that was just icing on the cake. It was the excellent customer service, and the Angie's List award, from the start that convinced me they were to right choice. Adam and Jason showed up on time and started work right away. They opened up small holes in the walls and fished all the cables though. This really impressed me. Another contractor wanted to make much bigger holes and cut through some studs in order to run the cables. I'm sure that would probably have come out ok, but I wanted the minimum amount of cutting possible and I really the guys really came through. They mostly filled in the holes so all I have left is to do the finish work on the drywall patch. The guys have a drywall guy on the team, but since I was in OC and they're in SD it was too far for the drywall guy. But they offer drywall repair too. Overall, I'm super happy with the job they did. I'd definitely hire them again for my next job, assuming they're willing to come up to OC again!

Great experience with this company. Rep emailed AND called me back after my initial inquiry, and offered a flat price for the job. Adam showed up on time as promised, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He knew exactly what to do, took care to ensure the tv, when mounted, was level and angled correctly and to our liking. He explained the various features of our new tv (even though he didn't supply it himself) and asked if we needed help programming any remotes (which we didn't, though we appreciate the offer.) The entire job took less than an hour, and we couldn't be more pleased. If we ever need similar home theater services, this is the company we will call, and Adam is the employee we will ask for.

Alex, the technician, came out this morning and arrived promptly at 8am as scheduled. I showed him the 4 issues we wanted to have resolved and he went straight to work. He was very polite, professional and took the time to listen to what I was hoping to have accomplished. Within 90 minutes of his arrival, Alex spliced and put new ends on two Cat 5 (something the other providers indicated that we would need to run new lines and put holes in our walls to repair), he swapped a phone jack for a network line, showed me how to find my IP address to access our security system cameras from our cell phones and reconfigured an outlet to support our fax machine in our home office. After having several other local companies come out and spend hours, botch repairs and send us invoices for work that did not resolve our issues, we are incredibly please with the work completed by SoCal Home Theater. We will definitely use them again and have already referred them to our neighbors to resolve their issues as well. Thank you Adam and Alex.

Adam came out for the estimate, he showed up right on time. He has a lot of great advice and tips how to put together an awesome system along with utilizing some our older equipment. His suggestions were very helpful. We had 3 companies give a bid on the job and So Cal was the only one to mention using some equipment that we already had which saved some money. Alex and Adam came out to do the actual Install and I was amazed with how clean and cautious they were about the whole install(us also having a baby crawling around). They did have to make a few cuts into the drywall and patch but we were aware of that prior to them doing so Fidel did a GREAT job patching and I could not even tell where it had been cut after he was done. All in all I would recommend this team to any body and already have. They are doing an estimate at my mother in law's house in La Jolla next week.

I spent $250. I thought their service was great and I would use them again the next time I need their help. They were able to make an appointment and they came out on time the following week.
