Antonio Turres has been our inspector for 3 years. He is always on time and reasonably priced.

Kilter?s team of experts was very professional and was thorough in giving explanations. They had great attitude when it came to their work and in dealing with their clients. They have done a job well done in preventing termites from entering our home. After seeing muddy tubes outside of our house, I knew that I needed to call them. Thanks to their effective and quick response, I never have to worry about any termite chewing on my home.

The service has been very good so far. The price was very reasonable and they were prompt and timely. The guy that came out went above and beyond what was expected of him.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It went well. It did the job but we had to have them come back 1-1 1/2 months later to spray again. We haven't had the problem again. They were a good company. We would recommend them. The pricing was fair.

I thought I would be special and didn't listen to the reviews that stated Kilter Pest Control does not know what Angie's List is. It is true. They did not contact me, I finally contacted them via their web site. No response. I called them today and spent 20 minutes on the phone (with long hold times) with Barney who had no idea what to do. He started telling me their pricing in spite of me telling him twice I had the Angie's List deal. Finally he said he would transfer me to someone else and after holding again, it went to their general voicemail. I hung up and give up. Barney never asked my name or anything else. Just started telling me full prices and what a 2 story home would cost. Mine is a single story. They don't want new customers.

We were having ant infestation problems and used this provider to help. The young man who helped us was polite, professional and responsive. He showed up on time and performed the service. Unfortunately, the pest control spray did not stop the ants at all, so that is the reason for a B grade. (Otherwise it would have easily been an A had the spray been effective. It was a good experience.) This being said, the young man did give us some ant killer gel and I set it aside for a few days, thinking the spray would work. When the ants remained, I tried his gel and it worked fantastically, effectively poisoning the ant colony and killing that area off in about 2-3 days. Subsequently, there were two more infestations within the next week in different areas of the townhome, so I used up the remaining ant gel and 2-3 days each and we are now 99% ant free! In summary, he was a great at customer service, great rep for his company and at least introduced us to an ant control product that we now think is a MUST HAVE for South Orange County ants. Overall, the end justified the means and NO MORE ANTS! :-)

They did fine work regarding the deal. The problem was that they hadn’t recognized that I had paid the deal via Angie’s List so they kept sending me a bill for the treatment. I then sent them a letter and they then stopped sending me a bill.

Went fine after I called and scheduled the appointment. Had some difficulty getting the appointment scheduled due to the company not having the AL coupon linkage setup in their system.

Completely resolved - totally satisfied!

Bought deal last week and made contact this morning. Service man did a great job.

First of all I would like to say that I would use this Kilter again and again, also I am going to recommend Kilter to who ever and all that asks. The inspector and technition that provided the service were very professional and knowledgeable. Both went the extra mile to make sure of a good and complete job.

They actually had to reschedule since other outside was not completed. Very nice about it.

Angie's List offered a "Big Deal" for pest control service for a reasonable price -- a good way to introduce a company to new customers. I scheduled an appoint at a time that was convenient for the technician so that he could bundle jobs in the same area. When he arrived, he indicated that, contrary to what had been stated in the Big Deal offer, I would be required to sign up for quarterly service, with subsequent services charged at the regular rate. This struck me as bait-and-switch, very unusual for an Angie's List-recommended provider. But, since the technican was ready to proceed and the work needed to bve done, I agreed. The actual work performed that day was fine and the problem was solved. Three months later, I received a robo-call in the late afternoon informing me that another treatment would occur the next day. I was out of town on business in another time zone and could not respond until after office hours. I called to cancel electronically, and thought I had done so -- evidently not. Upon my return, I found a paper at the front door, but the notes on it were illegible. I assmed the technican had come, since he probably bundled mine with other jobs in the area, and merely wanted to show that he had stopped by. A few days later, however, I received a bill for $69. I called the office to inquire about this charge and was told that the technician had in fact treated the house, but only the exterior, I expressed my diispleasure with what seemed a poor business practice, offering less than a day's notice to cancel service irrespecfive of whether it was needed or the interior aceessible. The agent explained that most clients only want exterior treatment and recommended that I actively call the company prior to the time it MIGHT be visiting to schedule an appointment when access to the interior would be possible. This did not seem a reasonable option, as it places the burden on the customer to be proactive to prevent unwanted service. The agent did offer to cancel the contract, and I accepted, but she said that the charges for services rendered were due and payable. She was very pleasant, and I realize the policies are not of her making, but this entire experience left me feeling manipulated and unhappy.

The previous year (5/4/11), contractor had applied airborn terminte control to entire house and attic with warranty inspection and extensions every year for nominal fee.

Ruben arrived promptly at the appointed time, was very nice, easy to talk to, very polite, and professional.He put "booties" on before coming into my home (to protect my floors).Wife and I were required to vacate the house for two hours after he sprayed inside.He sprayed upstairs, downstairs, in cabinets and outside around the perimeter of foundation. Above, I noted "good quality" instead of "excellent quality" because it have noticed and ant or two still alive in sprayed areas . . . but in fairness . . . that may be the way the product is supposed to work. Soooo, quality may be excellent, but I feel that the quality of the job will not really be known for a couple weeks.

I have used Kilter Termite & Pest Control for about a year and a half. I did like them. They came on time and did a good job.

They're just like the rest of the other companies. They did not really stand out from the rest of the pack. They did come back a couple times to do check up sprays and cleans. I ended using a product I found myself that works well. It's a powder.

in our case, I am glad I got the second quote. It wasn't the price that I was comparing, but the type of service, the method of investation elimination and the overall responsiveness of the company. I would just make sure to walk the property with the inspector, point out the areas that you feel should be checked, observe theri testing methods and ask lots of questions so you understand what they are doing, the results and what you can expect.

They are very flexible. They meet my time schedule. The work, so far, has been good. We had them treat for termites four years ago. This is part of the service they provide.

I was very impressed with the knowledge and care both the inspector and the individual performing the treatment displayed and will definitely continue to use them.

They are good. I did not end up hiring them, but I would have if my son hadn't had a friend in the business. I liked their honesty. They were excellent. They came out on time.

They came out for an inspection and let me know that everything was ok. They are very nice and easy to contact and schedule. I've also had them do work at my work.

I thought the experience was just fine with Kilter. Any time we needed them to come out they would. They were very responsive. Eventually the contract expired and they never sent me another bill so I stopped using them.
