Kilter Termite And Pest Control

After several months of repeated treatment ? I am proud to say that we are finally 100% termite free! The very helpful and patient Kilter team, inspected, treated, reinspected and retreated our home to make sure the huge termite infestation we had would disappear permanently. Most of all, Kilter worked with us through several visits with professionalism and patience. We are very grateful to them.

We had problems with a few mice. They came out quickly and were on time. They called ahead of time to let me know they were on the way. This is a local business, which made me feel more comfortable to do business with them. And I am glad I chose this one because they were accommodating, knowledgeable and great to work with. Best of all, they didn?t oversell or overcharge.

Purchased the One Time Pest Control service from Kilter Termite and Pest Control in Orange, CA and was to receive a call from them by Thursday, 1/7, to set up a time for them to come out. Never received a call from them so I called to set up the appointment and they did not know what I was talking about when I referenced that I purchased it from Angie's List. At that point I should have known that there was going to be problems. I went ahead and gave my schedule for the upcoming week when the work could be done and I was informed that the "scheduler" would contact me which they did on Saturday, 1/9. When speaking to the scheduler she told me the service would be $150.00 and I must purchase the ongoing service of $68.00 every two months. I informed her that I did not want to purchase the ongoing service that I only wanted the one time service but she informed me that it was "required" or they wouldn't do the work. I told her again I did not want to purchase it so she said "ok then we don't do the work" and she hung up. I called her back explained that I had purchased it off of Angie's List, read her their (Kilter's) offer of $150 for a One-Time Pest Control Service with a 30-Day Guarantee that they have listed and she told me that it was an old add and they don't offer that anymore. I asked her then why is it still up on Angie's List if it is an old add and not offered anymore. She then told me it did not cover the pests that I had and they could not honor it, so I read her the all the items "their deal" was suppose to cover and she then said that if it states that then she guesses they would have to do the work and when do I want them to come out and she was going to talk to their advertising person. At this point I knew if they came out they would to a terrible job so I told her that I wouldn't be scheduling any work with them and told her I felt if they did come out that they would do a lousy job just to fulfill their commitment. Because of this experience I will never call Kilter Termite and Pest Control ever again and will not recommend them to anyone. If you are looking for a pest control company DO NOT CALL KILTER IN ORANGE, CA. because they do not honor their advertisements, try to up sale you, rip you off and are extremely rude. The only good thing that happened was that Angie's List is refunding my money.

Fighting against termite is a progressive battle and in every battle we have won. It is all thanks to Kilter. The team were always on spot in treating our home and service is handled professional. I haven?t seen a single termite or bug ever since Kilter became our regular pest control company. Thanks! Hope our relationships remains the same way.

No matter how big or small your pest problem is, they are able to ?de-pest? your home. A friendly, efficient and reliable company. I wouldn?t dare call another company. It?s been 4 years since I?ve worked with them and everything was very pleasant. When I have an issue, they would always come back and address it. They come out to provide a routine pest control treatment to my house ? mainly a treatment against termites and ants. They are professional. I bought an old home with termites and ants and 3 months after their initial treatment, I had no signs of termites or ants.

It is hard to find a good service these days and I got it from Kilter. From the first initiated contact until the last visit several weeks ago, Kilter had been fantastic! My old and senile father lives with us and in the past I?ve noticed contractors making negative comments or showing slight aversion but Kilter?s guys were respectful and kind. Thanks for showing me that there are still pest contractors that would show respect! Plus, they took care of our nasty termites and bugs!

This is an excellent company, locally owned and provides a good service. First, I had them rid my home of rats. They went through my house and sealed everything off. They came back a couple of times to put traps and check them until each and every rat inside the house were taken away. In terms of customer service, they were great at it. They have flexible scheduling and very fast response. The people who visited my place were nice and friendly. So would I use them again? H*** YES!

Kilter is great. I had a huge ant problem recently that they have solved with ease. I heard about them when they did their work at my friend?s house. I gave a call and got a quick response. In just one day, they were in and out already. They did a great job at a very great price. I will surely use them again if I face another pest issue. I recommend them. I like that they are a local company and that they?ve been serving the community for a long, long time.

Awesome guys. Never been better. They were very friendly and utterly reliable. They were conscious of our home and out pets, which is why they used safe pest control methods to treat our home. We had plenty of ants inside our home and ever since they came to treat it, we haven?t seen any since then. It is really a good service. Can?t ask for more.

Kilter was incredibly informative, friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them, in particular to my family and friends. They were prompt and efficient, did the job right and for a fraction of the costs I received from others. The termite problem that hounded me for months ended after a brief visit from these guys. We recently found a "kick-out hole" indicating termite activity along one of our interior walls, so we scheduled a few termite companies to inspect our house and give estimates for treatments. Our house was treated for termites before we bought it in 2012. Also, several months ago, we had a termite inspection after our HOA told us we needed to replace some termite-damaged wood fascia/trim on the outside of our house. We did not get any termite treatment at that time though because the HOA pushed us to get a certified roofer to replace the wood. The inspector from Kilter performed our second inspection after we found the kick-out hole. Once he saw that a circle had been drawn around the kick-out hole by the inspector from the first company and then saw the inspection certificates posted from the company that had been here 8 months ago, he seemed to be in a rush, talked fast and seemed to just want to get on with the rest of his day. He said, "I see what you guys are doing. You're under warranty and want to check up on the other company's work." I corrected him and told him that wasn't the case, but he still rushed through the rest of the inspection. We felt like we were wasting his time, we weren't able to ask all of the questions we wanted to, and there were a few pertinent issues to the home we didn't get the opportunity to tell him. To his credit, he did find a piece of wood on the outside that the first inspector didn't find, but there were a couple other areas with termite droppings we knew about that we never got to show him because we felt like he just wanted to finish and move on. We did not have this issue with the other 3 inspectors that came out. My thoughts are that, if the inspector trying to make the sale is rushing and doesn't want to take the time to address all of our issues, what is it going to be like after we have already paid them money and have issues under warranty?

Kilter has been doing the termite inspections and treatments on our home for several years, and I have never been disappointed. Appointments are scheduled rapidly. The technicians are friendly, polite, knowledgeable and conscientious. This year Adam was the man to visit, and just like other previous technicians, he was on time, and asked me about any concerns that I had, and actually listened to what I said. As in previous visits, he actually had the info on my home with him that listed previous work that has be done, drawings, and notes on the job. I would not hesitate to refer Kilter to someone who was looking for a good company to use for termite or pest control issues.

Kilter did a wonderful job. The guys they send are really trustworthy and very professional when they treated our home. The experience was 100% positive. They were efficient, fast and they eliminated my termites successfully. They gave us a same day service and didn?t charge as an arm and a leg for their visit. Because of the wonderful service, I would gladly recommend them.

The rat guy arrived on time and his company came as a recommendation to me. There were a couple of rats roaming inside our kitchen and garage. I don?t know how they came inside out house but apparently they were nesting inside our garage and chewed their way through the drywall just to access our kitchen. He then laid down baits and traps in order to capture the intruders. Fortunately, it didn?t take a long time to catch those critters.

I would not recommend using this company for termite treatment or wood repairs. The initial inspector missed some areas that had termites, and it took the slow crew of two five weeks to complete a one-week job of replacing or repairing damaged wood on the exterior of the house. They were asked repeatedly to re-do two boards that were less than satisfactory, which was never done. And, there was a lot of mis-communication with the office staff regarding the days the crew was coming out. The employees are very courteous and polite (except for office manager) and the price was reasonable, but you get what you pay for.

I am very happy with my experience. Kevin and the other guy arrived on time and quickly assess our situation and then explained what they were about to do to complete the work that we asked them to do. It was completely done without skipping any area that they have marked for treatment. They even went under the crawl space, which is not an easy thing to do. I would definitely recommend Kilter.

I immediately called the pest control company a friend recommended to me. Unfortunately, the termites returned after 2 months? I had the house treated again but the same thing happened again. Finally, I decided to call Kilter and they were able to prevent the termites from coming back. I should have called Kilter from the start and I would have been able to avoid going through this hassle.

I had mice problems last summer and Kilter came out to take care of it. They took care of the mice and gave me advice on how to secure my home against various pests. Now I am free of mice. Moreover, thanks to their shared knowledge, my home is free from pests. It was a quick work and I have learned a lot from them.

Kilter was great!! I had ant problem and I have heard that Kilter have done great work at a neighbor?s house. I called them and they quickly responded. They were in and out and was able to deliver a fairly priced and quality job. I will certainly use this company again. I highly recommend them as well. Just recently, I got our home treated for ants and it was Kilter who did the amazing job! From the inspection until the last termite was killed, Kilter had been great.
