Justin and his colleague called a few minutes ahead and showed up on time. They had the work done in the time allotted and they cleaned up after themselves. Oh, and stuck to the quote they had given via email a few days before. They were awesome. I would recommend them to anyone.

The young man showed up on time and went straight to work. He was knowledgeable and very nice to deal with. Unfortunately, our heat pump is very old and he informed me that there was not much he could do. He changed my air filter and ran a compression test on my pump. Said that was the best he could do, charged $125 for the service call and split. Half an hour after he left, it started blowing cold again. Wasted $125.

Justin was very professional , did a thorough inspection and explanation about the furnace and was able to get the heat back on for the cold weekend

After a little mix up on scheduling he did get to my house and did a wonderful job installing a humidifier

Amazing company! We had worked with a different heating/cooling company for years. They were out in September when our furnace was making a loud vibrating noise. We were told the furnace needed a new 'blower motor' that cost $800.00!! We left it go and put up with the noise, but decided to get it checked in anticipation of upcoming bitter cold weather. The JMS repairman that came took his time examining the furnace and found that the inducer motor, which the other company had installed a few years ago, had a loose cover and just needed 3 screws tightened!!! That was what was causing the noise! He also cleaned the entire furnace! (Something the other company NEVER did!) While he was working, he had a carbon monoxide detector plugged in by one of our vents. He discovered we had a low level that was acceptable, but said we should get a carbon monoxide detector because the reading indicated a crack somewhere in one of the cells of the furnace. The repairman said if that opened up, a lot carbon monoxide could escape and be very dangerous to our family and pets. If the alarm went off, a new furnace would be necessary and he gave us literature and pricing. But, he also said it may not happen for a long time and that our furnace was in great shape! VERY HAPPY with Jim's Mechanical Services!!

they found a technical issue that I thought was permanent, and corrected it, they also replaced associated wiring and plumbing that I would have left original.

Came when he said he would; called me to let me know he would be late because of an emergency with another customer (furnace out in January). Looked at the problem, quickly found the cause, fixed it promptly. Friendly but no chit-chat. Will definitely use them again if we have other problems.

Unlike my usual experience with contractors. They showed up on time, did quality work for the agreed upon price. They scheduled me quickly too.
