We love our new windows and sliding door! Gerald came out to tell us about Simonton windows in December 2016 and spent time with us explaining why he trusts the Simonton brand. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and the information that he gave us was very helpful. We did our research with some other companies and looked at other brands of windows as well. Ultimately, we were impressed with Gerald's wonderful customer service and trusted him to install windows for us. Gerald provided us with a detailed printout of exactly what kind of windows we would be getting, complete with a picture of each window. The process was quick, easy, and we appreciated the quick responses when we had questions. We replaced all 8 windows and got a new sliding door to the backyard. The windows were ordered and came on time, it didn't take long at all. There were two installers that did a really great job. They were professional, careful, and efficient. You can tell that Gerald has trained them well and that they were very detail-oriented. The job was completed on time, they hauled away the old windows and cleaned up the work areas too. The windows really look fantastic from inside and from the outside and we can already experience the difference that they make to our home. Coughlin Windows & Doors is a First class operation!!! I recently had my windows replaced by Coughlin Windows & Doors and have to say from start to finish the entire experience was great! I set up an initial appointment at the beginning of December and had to reschedule due to a scheduling conflict. Gerald (the owner) graciously fit me in last minute on a Friday. He is very knowledgable, personable and friendly. It is evident Gerald cares a great deal about the customer and providing the best possible product and service to his clients. I chose Coughlin Windows over the other companies I had contacted because of the competitive pricing, turn-around-time and customer service. We scheduled an appointment for three weeks later on 12/21/16 just in time for Christmas. I appreciated the reminder call the day before and also that I was informed of who the installers would be (Gerardo and Ricardo). The day of the installation, Gerardo and Ricardo, arrived in the morning on time and immediately went to work. They were meticulous, polite, and efficient. They completed the installation by the afternoon and removed all debris from my condo. The windows look great!! We absolutely love our new windows!! A huge improvement over the old aluminum ones I had before. Not only do the windows look great, but you can definitely feel the difference in the room temperature! It went smoothly, they came in and did a great job. Clean and very professional. David King is great to work with and the installers, Steve and Robbie did a wonderful job in keeping my place clean while they installed the windows. I will need to have my front window replaced soon and I will be calling them to replace it for us. They are coming back to finish my kitchen garden window when my remodel is finished. Its just the trim work that needs to be done, they left it unfinished after I told them that my counter tops will be replaced. I am happy that they would wait on finishing up that window.

Coughlin Windows and Doors went far above and beyond with their service and professionalism. We had all our original, 30-year-old, construction-grade windows and sliding doors replaced and the results are phenomenal. It was a busy week with roof, stucco and windows all being replaced at the same time. Coughlin installers were able to get all 13 windows and 2 doors installed in less than a day so they were out of the way of the stucco people and then finished the inside work the following morning. The inside trim work around the sliding doors is of the highest quality in fit and finish. They did a great job and cleaned up behind themselves. Highly recommend Coughlin Windows for any job, large or small.

I had the pleasure of working with David K. from Coughlin Windows on window replacements at my home recently. The process actually started about two months ago. His was one of two proposals that pointed out the updated fire zoning requirements for my neighborhood. His proposal also came in among the most reasonable ones as well. I wasn’t able to make a commitment to Coughlin Windows right away because of the scheduling of my other home remodeling projects even though I was already sold on Simonton windows based on Consumer Reports’ recommendation. However, David followed up with me a couple of times and was gracious enough to modify the specification of the windows without substantial price change that finally sealed my deal with Coughlin Windows. David was most accommodating as well in terms of the installation schedule. The installers, Serardo and Ricardo arrived right on time. They worked well as a team. They were methodical, meticulous and efficient and the installation went smoothly without a hitch. They hauled away the old windows and cleaned up the debris from their work thoroughly upon the completion of the installation. Thanks to their great work my new windows look wonderful.

I hired Coughlin Windows to complete the whole house window installation. I had Coughlin Windows install new dual pane windows to the rear and sun facing side of my house about a year and a half ago. I was really pleased with the whole process, that I hired them to complete the rest of house. This company is great hire for windows. They use Simonton Windows which has an excellent warranty. The whole process from estimate to installation is really great. A crew of two came out to the house and completed the all the windows in one day. I just had Coughlin install 23 windows and one 1 sliding glass door in my home - what a fantastic experience. Gerald came out for the estimate (which, be warned, can take a couple hours if you're doing your whole house), and he was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I scheduled my installation on the spot - had to wait 3 weeks, which was very reasonable. The work crew was great, didn't leave any mess and did all the windows in about 1.6 days of work. Wow! The windows look fabulous, and I'm thrilled to have found this company. You won't regret using Coughlin if you need windows!

All appointments were met and on time. Quote process was very professional and plenty of reference material provided. We did visit the store to get a hands on look at some ot the windows we were considering. The showroom was pretty small and not all models are available to look at, but the common models were on display and the receptionist was helpful. Window installers were on time and professional. Cleanup of the property was as it should be. The Sliding Doors required a second visit to complete the install job. Our security system presented some small difficulties but the installer was familiar with security systems and set up the windows for replacement magnets to be installed later. Price, install and cleanup were all great. So far the Simonton windows and doors seem to be of good quality and function well. We are happy with the results of the project.

Very professional service. Jerry, the owner, is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He deals with Simonton products and his pricing was very competitive. The project was completed on time and communication was excellent. The two installers were extremely professional and experienced. Coughlin takes pride in their work. I love my new windows and door. I plan to hire them again to replace one last picture window.

Gerald, the owner, was incredible to work with! He is a very relationship-oriented business owner and that was the deciding factor for me. I received comparable estimates from four companies, but it was Gerald's friendliness, knowledge, his honesty, and his focus on customer service that made him the obvious choice. His installers were very friendly and personable, they answered every question I had, and arrived and finished up when they said they would. I happened to ask one of the installers how long he worked for Gerald and after he told me, he added that Gerald was a "really honest guy" and that he truly enjoyed working for him. What an endorsement!

Excellent. Two techs showed up as scheduled, actually a bit early. Both were very professional, did all work with no mess left over. Windows look good & work well.

Look no further for your window replacements. They install a quality product with a life time guarantee. I had my whole house done - 18 windows and a sliding glass door. Gerald followed up with every detail. He was able to calculate everything I needed in front of me when he came to do the estimate. His installers, Steve and Anthony worked non stop each day. I saw them grab a bite to eat for lunch standing at the truck. Their attention to detail was incredible. They were so picky about their work. Everything seems to be plumb, level and square. The caulking was done with such detail that it looks like it was manufactured with the windows. They were always on time and let me know what to expect from the schedule. Gerald's price was about $300.00 more than what appeared to be the same install from another company. But the other company never contacted me after the quote was done. I'm so happy with the work and product. I wish Gerald's company did other things besides windows because Coughlin is the best!

This review I think is long overdue because we've actually had Couglin over three times already. We have 13 windows that needed replacing and instead of replacing them at one time we decided to do them in batches. It worked out financially better for us and we wanted a particular windows because of the warranty. So long story short, we bought a fixer home and have had contractors in and out of this place. I found Coughlin when we needed to get our windows done through Angies List. Let me just say Gerald, the owner and estimator, is one of the nicest and most honest men I've met. He took his time explaining, the process, the windows, the warranty. As for the install, it was so incredibly clean and quick! It helps that the installers are knowledgeable, as well as friendly! We just finished out last set of windows with Steve and Anthony who were great to work with. They called when they were on their way, they were on time, they were clean and fast. The other thing to note, that I think is probably Geralds doing, is they have a method/system for everything. It's sooo organzied from the paperwork to the installation. We had three batches done and our windows looked consistent each time. Couldn't recommend this company enough!

Gerald went to my house for the initial measurements and estimate. Punctual and a high tech geared contractor at that!!! First time I've met one with a laptop and a printer. I recommend this to all contractors because the estimate and the measurements of all the windows I ordered were very clear and easy to read. Steve came after two days to do the final measurements and he was late. I have to call their office to verify if he is coming. After doing the measurements Steve informed me that the windows will be one week late because orders for the windows closed end of the month. Initially when Gerald told me that they only install on weekdays and since I leave for work at 2PM I told him I'll take off work on Friday so the installers can do a full days job and anything else left to do can be done Saturday. Because of the delay in ordering, I have to reschedule my leave for the following Friday which luckily was approved. I called Steve about my rescheduled leave being approved. Ricardo and Gerardo,the installers, came to my house that following Friday at 9:30 in the morning but left at 12 noon after installing four windows. I was made to believe that they are going to do a full days job that Friday, the reason why I took off from work, so I asked them why and the reason was they were told I leave at one in the afternoon. This reasoning surprised and really upset me. Steve knew I put in for a one day leave to accommodate the installers so they can do a full days work and to realize it was unnecessary was really upsetting. The following day, Saturday, we had that storm so Gerardo and Ricardo could not do the installation because of the moisture in the air and that the glue they were using won't work that well. So then the installation was delayed for the following Saturday. Ricardo and Gerardo did an excellent job. I love my windows and aside from some inconveniences I recommend Coughlin as an outstanding company to choose if you need great windows for your house.

From the first meeting, we were really pleased with Coughlin. Gerald provided a fast and accurate estimate, Steve did the final measure, and Steve and Mason installed the windows. They were all very professional, friendly and easy to work with. They did an excellent job of cleaning up after removing and installing all five windows. We would definitely use Coughlin Windows again.

The main reason why we chose Coughlin is because they were the only ones who told us that they could retrofit some of our narrow arched windows. We now know that they ?unknowingly? lied. At first, they worked on 4 of our large windows (last year / 2014). We were very happy with the result and the crew was outstanding. We told them that we would ask them to work on additional windows (including our narrow arched windows) at a later time? Last April, we contacted them to tell them that we were ready for the additional job to begin. They came over, took measurements and we paid a deposit. The job was supposed to start at the beginning of June 2015. Shortly after we paid the deposit, they told us that there was a delay because ?Ply Gem was backed up on orders?, something they supposedly have not seen in 9 years. Then a week later, they told us that they could not retrofit our narrow arched windows because the Ply Gem software had a glitch: it told them that they could retrofit our narrow arched windows, but it ?lied?? Quite an unlikely chain of events, isn?t it? We then went forward by asking them for a quote that would take into account new constructions (instead of retrofits) for our narrow arched windows. This time, we asked them to make them square. We are hoping that cheaper square windows will offset the cost of new constructions. We are still waiting for the quote. We have been waiting for nearly two weeks. It is unfortunate that our second experience with this company has been so unpleasant, even if, as they claim, it is not their fault (and I have no reason not to believe them). Our rating accordingly reflects our rather negative experience. We may change it in the future if positive events occur. Since it turns out that Coughlin cannot retrofit our narrow arched windows, we have no reason to stay attached to Coughlin anymore and are in the process of acquiring competing quotes.

The bid was within $40 of another bid we received. For a $10,000 job, that is reassuring! Gerald was very professional. The installation crew was clean, organized, VERY polite, and impressed me in every way. It took a couple of months beyond the 3 day installation process to finish everything up completely. A couple of window frames arrived damaged, and there were some scuffs I wanted addressed. The guys got everything together and came back after the holidays and made everything just right.
