Bumper Doc- Auto Body Work

It's hard to use enough superlatives for this shop: professional, very reasonably priced, efficient, knowledgeable, friendly. You'll notice that from the moment you call them. Our car came back looking like new inside, with even the smallest detail professionally cleaned and polished. They did all the work in about half a day, and even washed the car outside for free. This was our third visit to Bumper Doc (Escondido), and we would (and will) happily return anything we need one of the services they provide. We had the side view mirror replaced on our Ford Fusion a couple months ago, and Bumper Doc (Escondido0 stood out again on that service: very reasonably priced, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, etc etc. You would never know that the mirror assembly was replaced. We HIGHLY recommend them.

After our car was sideswiped, we got three estimates for repairs. Bumper Doc/Escondido was far more reasonable than the other two estimates we received. Also, when we visited the location for our estimate, we have never been so impressed by the estimator, the staff and the cleanliness and organization of the shop. The estimator was very personable, knowledgeable, efficient, and clearly indicated they would like our business. The customer service is beyond impressive - haven't had an experience like this in who knows how long. We dropped our car off on the day of our appointment, and they were ready and waiting. A few hours later, when we went for pick up, we were amazed at the work that they had done. It exceeded our expectations, and again, we felt like the price was so fair and reasonable. In the end we got more than we expected, we would like to rave about the service, and we will be taking another car in next month for a repair and detailing. We can't wait to get our SUV detailed there -because the level of detail and quality of their jobs is so high end. There is not one downside in going to Bumper Doc/Escondido. They deserve an A++ rating on Angie's List.

I can't say enough praise about these guys, the customer service was beyond excellent, they were thorough, highly professional and did top notch quality work. The paint job is impeccable, with no trace that a large dent was ever there. I highly recommend Ron and the other guys at bumper doc - best service I have had anywhere for years! I was also very happy with the price, and the friendly, clean atmosphere of the shop.

Skeptical, but it looks brand new! Right on time, right on estimate. He told me (rightly or wrongly) some car dealers send bumper body work to him, then the dealers take credit and upcharge their customers.

See above. I was very pleased. Price included a ten percent discount for Angies list. I'm not sure how to answer the price question because I didn't shop around but I was willing to pay the price for the great work.

The car almost looks like new. The repairs to the bumper are so good that it looks like new. The totally filthy car is completely clean and the residue from mud, insects, and road wear are gone. When I pass my hand across the finish it feels like a new car. The cost for the body work and the detailing were slightly higher than I expected but I am pleased with the result.

I inherited my husband's Honda Pilot, a car that is much larger than I was used to driving. As a result I scraped the passenger's side of the van with a long semi deep gash. I brought it to the Bumper Doc. They were extremely helpful explaining what could be done and what to expect. They were able to do the repair the following week with an excellent price. The car's bodywork was done to perfection--matching the existing color exactly. You cannot tell there was any damage at all. All the employees were so helpful, knowledgeable and service minded. I'm extremely happy with the work and overall experience.

Their estimate was very high. They were very nice and it was clean, not much was going on and that was it. Their responsiveness was very good; I was the only one there!

They were very friendly on the phone when I called and suggested I drop by for an estimate. They were quick and helpful and provided a very reasonable estimate to repair the bumper, without ever suggesting I would need to have the bumper replaced. We made an appointment for the work and repaired the bumper as promised on time and within the estimate. The bumper looks like new and they were, as earlier, very friendly and professional. I thought the price extremely reasonable, the service professional and of high quality. I would recommend Bumper Doc to anyone needing car repair work and certainly will go back there should I need any other auto body work done.

Bumper Doc was fantastic! I took it in on Tuesday, 4/11 for an estimate, and their price came in at roughly half of the other shop I took it to. I scheduled the work for the following week, and they were able to repair my banged up bumper and return it to pristine condition. They did take a bit longer in the day than originally estimated, but they washed my vehicle very well to make up for the delay. They were professional and kind from start to finish, and I really appreciate what an awesome job they did!

This BUMPER DOC shop is almost 40 miles from my home. It already had 15 very good Angie's List reviews, and uncharacteristically for this industry (according to Ron, the owner), they were open on Saturday to perform an estimate for me. Armed with a $2,000 estimate I received from a high-end body shop near my home, I met with Cliff that Saturday morning. Very professional, courteous and focused, Cliff came in with a price almost 25% less than the other estimate. We scheduled the 3-4 days of work for the following week, and my wife and I came back to drop the car off before the close of business Monday afternoon (they don't offer a "Night" drop off). I called BUMPER DOC Friday afternoon to check the progress of the work, and to find out if I needed to coordinate a pickup of the car that day with my wife. Spoke to Ron, the owner, and he told me it would be ready to pick up later that day, as promised! When we arrived, we received a courteous greeting from Ron. He asked if we could wait 15 minutes or so while they finished things up. Of course, we didn't mind - and during it all, we three had a friendly chat. About 30 minutes after we arrived, my car was rolled out for me - and it looked great! I applied some of the savings (including a NICE Angie's List discount) they offered me toward an Exterior Detail, and it made a BIG improvement in the appearance of my car. Their paint work was particularly good. Our experience with Ron and Cliff, and the quality of work they and their staff provided, was excellent!

Ron and Cliff are a pleasure to work with. Ron interfaced with the insurance company, who wanted to only repair the fender, and convinced them that replacing the fender was in the my best interest considering the age and model of the car. He kept on top of the insurance company to expidite approval of the claim amount. The job was promised in 4 days and to my surprise, I got a call that the car was ready at the end of the third day. Good quality job on the car. There were some very minor problems with the finish, which were personally taken care of by Cliff, on the spot. I've done a lot of business with this shop, from repair to detailing, and I have always been very pleased with the quality and prompt compeletion of the work.

The estimate they gave me was free and they were the best price. They do great work and they are very easy to work with. I would highly recommend them.

Estimator was Ron who discussed and quoted several options. All my questions were answered so I fully understood my choices. After thinking it over a couple days I called and asked if I could bring it in the next day. I took it in the next morning and got it back the next afternoon. Condition was perfect, could not possibly tell the damage was ever there. I was very pleased with all aspects of the service from price to quality. I highly recommend this facility.

The place is clean and the people look very professional but i didnt do the repair because it was between 20 and 30 % more expensive than other places

Outstanding in all respects. Not only was the completed work excellent, their price was well below other quotes. Service and attention to my needs was propfessional and appreciated. The time required was also much faster. than competitors. These hands- on owner/manager are on top of their game in terms of customer satisfaction

It went well, but they didn't quite finish in the sameday as they said. They did supply me with a rental car to get home.

Awesome job! Ron over-delivered by removing dents and scratches that would have cost twice as much as the other shops we got estimates for. His approach is pragmatic and the results speak for themselves. Our car looks brand new.

Couldn't possibly have gone better! The price was fair, workmanship was beyond belief and they are a real pleasure to work with. Ron explained the quote in detail and explained how each part of the price was arrived at. The work was done in the time he promised and when an issue came up that needed discussion he called immediately to get my agreement. One dent neede to be accessed in a different manner but the price remained as he quoted. Just doesn't get any better. I would absolutely recommend Bumper Doc Escondido even it I had to drive some distance to have them do the work.

I had to wait about a week, but it was worth it because their price was about 40% cheaper than my initial estimate at another shop. Their shop is filled with a lot of cars so you may have to week before they can get to your car.

I called the Bumper Doc in the morning and they were able to have us come in within an hour or two. This Bumper Doc is the one on Auto Park Way in Escondido. Cliff was very professional. We talked about the bumper fix and added fixing the scratch also. They told me it would be done by 5pm the same day. When I picked up the car it was incredible. My car looked great!

I had taken my truck to a couple of other places. Got quotes for around $1000, and was told they would need my truck for a week. Then I walked into BumperDocs in Escondido. Ron was very professional and kind. The estimate was done in 15 minutes, and I had an appointment the following day. All of the work was done in the same day. Ron gave us a rental car for mentioning Angie's list with no charge. The total for all repairs was $516 after 20% coupon I printed off Angie's list website. Great pricing, excellent service, and my truck looks brand new. I will never take my cars any place else for body work.
