Antac Pest Control

We worked with Tim Ostrowski and he was fantastic. Tim is very knowledgeable and professional. He walked us through the process, and answered all questions. He was available when needed. I dreaded having the house tented, but the experience went smoothly from start to finish. I haven't seen any termite activity since.

We used it within 24 hours. They appeared to have done a good job, and we ended up signing a regular service through them, and they will be coming out every couple of months to spray. We have a lot of black widow spiders, and galore of ants. I bought it, but my husband was the user, and he had no complaints. They showed up in a timely manner, and everything seemed fine, but they had to come back, because it was such an infestation, and that was part of the service. They were responsive, and they did the job well, and then we signed up for the regular service. They said that they would call to do the next one, but they just went there instead of calling me to arrange it, that was a problem. They called the week before and I called them not to come out and I needed a time, so the technician was maybe already scheduled. I have already used them all year, and will continue using them as long as it remains the same.

Their service was so-so. I had actually hired them before for a rental property. So, I was familiar with them, but we still had silverfish after they came. They were fine. They were pleasant. The work made a slight difference. We did not spend more than the Big Deal of $99. They came out within the week after we purchased the Big Deal. Maybe, I am going to use them again in the future.

They returned my initial call for service nearly immediately, gave me a quote and were at the house within days. They provide monthly service, and are very attentive when additional services are needed. I highly recommend them!

great! he came out as requested, and did a great job checking everywhere to ensure there were no more issues or problems. Spoke with the contractor doing the repairs and identified all areas that needed to be replaced and sealed. As they were the company that did the extermination and certification for the sale, I called them, and they responded promptly and with no charge. Will have them out annually now to keep the little critters at bay.

First off Bill Massicot was very easy to work with in getting the work done .I had questions about the roof and he brought another, guy from a job near by to come over and talk to me about how they were going to deal with the roof . The work done was quick and done well .I would recommend this Company to anyone . A job well done.

After having battled an ongoing ant problem for close to a year, using various methods thru Big Box stores, I decided it was time to call in the pros. I contacted Antac in May of 2014 for a 2-year bimonthly service, and they came out about a week later. Using granules, gel and spray (both inside and out), we were ant free for about 2-3 weeks before they returned. The follow up call kept the ants away until the next service, but since then, we've had to call them between each scheduled visit. On one of the follow-up visits, they canceled the day of the scheduled visit and then asked that we wait a week or so before they would have someone else come out. After protesting for the delay and inconvenience they caused us, they sent someone the next day. When our tenants in a house on the same property complained about ants recently, I contacted Antac to have them include that house in the same contract, (I would have included the entire property at the initial contact, had I known of the problem). While the price was good for the added service, getting someone to come out turned into another issue. We set up a date of 11-11 between noon - 4:00 for them to come out, but around 3:00 when I called to make sure they were coming, I found out our visit had been put on hold when they couldn't reach me to give me pricing. Again, I was told we would have to wait and they would have someone come out the following week, but after protesting, again, they sent someone the following morning. I realize that things happen that prevent schedules to go as planned, but after making arrangements for the exterminator to show up on several occasions, having those plans change at the last minute by Antac, and the numerous followup visits to get the ants under control - hopefully - doesn't seem to make them all that reliable. Since I'm stuck with the remainder of a 2-year contract, I would not hire them again, given their history.

They were very responsive on a short time frame. They're very easy to work with.

It worked out well. They called us back. Everything was good. We don’t have the problem anymore.

These guys were great! They explained the services fully and were very thorough in seeking out the ants and spraying for them/baiting the inside. We will see in a few days how it turns out but I'm very impressed with their service this far. Thanks!

The fumigation went PERFECTLY. Joe was first class in taking our order, scheduling, and preparing us for the work. We were off-site for three days. The roofing company he subcontracted did an excellent job as well. We had some left over tiles from an old job. The termite crew broke a half dozen or so tiles, and we had about that many existing to repair. The roofing company used our existing tile reserve for all the repairs, and pre-existing damaged tiles at charge. Win-Win! We still need to re-mediate a small termite problem (one 2x4"), and Joe will come by to respect and issue our certificate as soon as that's complete, but other than that, the job was finished well and Antec did everything as committed. There were a couple of minor "ding's" on quality, the reason for our "B" grade. We had left food in the fridge intending to dispose of it on "trash day" after the fumigation was complete. His contracted tenting crew went in and during inspection, wrapped up the food in plastic and put it back in the fridges. Nice guys and nice job! On the other hand, they kind of trashed the place, leaving half the shelves laying strewn around the floors. It wouldn't have taken them 2 or 3 minutes to stack up the shelves where they wouldn't scratch the wood floor, or get broken (and/or tripped over). It was just - a little bit unprofessional. They also broke an installed exterior front carriage lap (the heavy canvas tent probably dropped on lamp and snapped the wrought iron figure. Not too hard or expensive to fix, but it was probably avoidable. Again, these were minor issues. I'd use Antac again and recommend them to anyone. Their quote was very reasonable, and overall, provided excellent service.

Luis called 10 minutes out. Showed up on time. Wiped his feet before coming into my home. I showed him the area where ants were spotted. He explained the cause and how he was going to treat the problem. He finished up and gave me a receipt and told me about the 30 day guarantee. Thinking about getting their service plan which is reasonably priced compared to Terminix.

They said it may take up to a week to have it's full effect. Do my delight the ants were gone that same day. I couldn't be happier.

Everything went great. They called right after the purchase went through and we were able to schedule the appointment within a few days. They sprayed, and we haven't had any issues with ants since.

I was able to get scheduled quickly; and Bill arrived on time. He inspected all over my house, including the attic. He found 2 spots with minor damage, and showed the cost of different treatment options. Overall, I felt the inspection is thorough. The inspector is honest and put all the things clearly on the table.

Our technician was excellent. He arrived with in the time window, communicated his action plan and then completed his work quickly and effeciently. He was friendly to the dog and easy to work with. Antac got a B on puncuality because they canceled my first appointment which was unavoidable but still an inconvenience for me.

I am on Antac's monthly service, yet I have ants in my house! Calling them to solve the problem and they can't come out for nearly two weeks to solve the issue. UNACCEPTABLE!!! If they are doing their job, treating the outside of the house correctly, the ants should NEVER make it inside. For the cost of the service this should NEVER HAPPEN. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.

The man that came out to do the estimate was very, very pleasant and as far as the work, I'm not sure about yet. They pointed out some drive lot, I wasn't aware of it and he examined the attic and the garage and what they did find was dry wood termites I believe that's what they call them. I would use them again in the future.

Process was easy.....they inspected and came with a recommendation. Choices were not that difficult.

I was very disappointed with Antac Pest Control, on the day of my first appointment the window time was 12pm-4pm, I received a call around 6:30pm-7pm stating they were on their way, I then decided to reschedule, the day I preferred was not open, and I would have to be pushed back to the end of the week, I decided to end this deal.

Service provided was fine. My issue with ANTAC is with their customer service. After three phone calls and promises to send out the paperwork and receipt for the work performed I have yet to receive anything. Last contact with company was on 9/10/14 when I was told the information requested would be emailed to me immediately. Over 24 hours later still nothing. I will not use this company again.

Very well. First date scheduled was a 'rain day' so spraying around house perimeter was not possible. A follow up visit was scheduled and the treatment went smoothly. Service personnel were very courteous both times, and took time to educate; that is appreciated.

The technician was prompt and polite, very professional. He asked about problem areas and then did a thorough indoor and outdoor inspection. He then explained what was going to be done and where. He sprayed and treated entire house and perimeter within about 30 minutes. The ants were gone within 3 hours and never have returned. Very happy!

It took awhile for the ants to stop coming, but I only see a few now and then.
