Ok problem was not "resolved"

They were very punctual and responsive. First guy arrived as scheduled, crawled around in the attic, could not find any obvious access points but did find rat droppings and a dead rat in one of our existing traps (which he packed but forgot to remove). He set five traps and two poison dispensers outside. Even though the visit included a consult about measures to protect against future infestation, the guy was not at all forthcoming with any advice. He kept pushing us to sign up for the maintenance plan, which we did not want. Second guy arrived 2 weeks later, per agreement. Checked the traps and the dispensers, criticized his colleague for placing them incorrectly. Although he was a bit more talkative, he still did not give us any advice on how to locate possible access points. Repositioned traps and boxes. Another two weeks later a third guy showed up and collected the boxes from the garden. He left the cheap traps in the attic. They did not catch anything, and we could still hear the rats there. The bait in the outside boxes was untouched, which also indicates bad placement: we live on 1.25 acre property and have all sorts of mice and rats running around occasionally. That the bait would remain untouched for a month is just incredible. After they left, I bought 5 more traps, crawled into the attic and positioned them where I found droppings. We caught two rats in two days. I can only guess why these guys did not positioned the traps where I did... probably because it was far from the access point and they were too lazy to crawl there. The service is expensive for what they do: $250 for two (useless) visits, and they seem only to be interested in getting you to sign up for monthly maintenance. With this level of service it is highly unlikely that I would ever consider them even for one off jobs.

We selected Antac Pest Control, because of the excellent reviews they received on Angie's List and also because they had an A rating on BBB. We are not disappointed. Michael was our salesman and was professional and responsive to our questions and requests. Statewide Fumigation did the actual tenting, which was quite complicated on our home. They too were professional and responsive. They were also honest. I asked them to be careful of our plants while tenting and they were. No plants lost due to the fumigation. We highly recommend them.

Maybe I'm being overgenerous to this provider after a truly horrible experience with Antimite, a competitor. Antac was punctual and provided a great price for the work performed. The services were started and completed on time and the provider was efficient and professional. One year later, no sign of termites or just about any bugs at all.

The Antac guy come on time and was very pleasant. The estimate was off the charts $1300 bucks to take a hole through the roof and remove bee and hives and repair. He said there was no other route of entry after looking in our attic for one. We got another estimate from another well rated company. $450 for nearly identical service. remove bees and the hive and the repair. The difference was that the other company went through the wall to get to the nest. I don't know which is better for the house but it certainly was a whole lot cheaper!! I would have liked to know that that was an option to bring down the cost. Regardless, I won't be asking for another estimate from them.

They are great. If you have a problem with their work, their inspectors, Josh and Jake, will come out and take care of the problem immediately. They have done work for me in the past with great results as well. They have done tenting and wood repair for termites. They are very thorough with their work and knowledgeable. They will take the time to make sure every area is checked. They have a very good response time.

Excellent. The service manager was very honest. He informed me there were no signs of rodents or rodent droppings in the attic. I would definitely use them for any pest control problems.

I called the office first thing monday morning. Lady on the phone said it's not in their system and asked me to call back in couple of days. I've gotten quotes and estimates from exterminators, contractors and handyman. This is a clear sign of being not interested in the job. At least let me know.

The company called me to confirm my appointment a day or so before the treatment. This is helpful for people with busy schedules. The technician was very punctual. The technician spent a good deal of time explaining the details of the service that he was providing and the details of the year long service agreement . He made recommendations about what not to do and what products not to use moving forward. Because I signed up for a year long service my initial visit was $50.00 off. Even though the property is only a 1000 sq. ft. condo with minimal area to treat, I felt it was a good value for the quality of service provided and the discount helped. A few days after the treatment I called the company in a panic about the swarm of ants that I found. I was very upset but the person who answered the phone explained that it was a normal occurrence as the nest had been disturbed and that by law they cannot go out for another treatment for 10 days. Anytime after that they will go out as many times as is necessary. She was very sweet and calmed me down. I highly recommend them!

Overall a good experience. There were a few plants damaged around the house but nothing serious. There was a few clips, from the tent attachment, left on the roof and around the outside of the house. They did what they said, were on time and provided all the information required.

They did an excellent job. They were reasonably priced. We liked them because they did what they said they were going to do, they came out very soon and took care of the problem and their price was reasonable.

It went very well and they were very responsive. They were friendly. He had to come out twice, because I was not taken care of the first time. I would use them again.

They did fine job. They were very thorough and I had no problems. There was a 100$ discount from Angie’s List coupon. They did everything what they said they were going to do and alternately I have to evaluate for next January as they come back to make sure there are no more termites.

I signed up with Antac several years ago when my house was overrun with ants every day. They come out every two months and spray to control ants and other pests. I have been very happy with the service. They call before they come and are always pleasant and polite.

All went well, except for two minor details. First attempt at meeting agent at house (to do "inspection") didn't happen because he didn't call ahead (as I had explicitly requested when making appointment). This meant I wasn't there (needing to go home from work). Next time, I requested a call once again but was actually at home anyway. He didn't call then, either, but we did meet. They seem to need a little help with advanced stuff like cell phone usage. Then there was the fumigators not knowing that they had to leave the housekeys in exactly one place when they were done, so SDGE guy could find them (SDGE does gas off/on, water heater restart, etc). I couldn't just handle the turning-back-on myself because SDGE *locks* the damned thing to prevent exactly that. So we had to arrange with SGDE ourselves and wait until the next day. By the way, all these pest-control companies subcontract with fumigators to do the actual work, so you don't actually have any idea about what's gonna happen based on the company it *seems* like you're dealing with. Except, of course, to the extent that the pest bunches tend to use the same fumigators consistently. Antac was the lowest bidder of Terminix (avoid them! bad on every level), Orkin (great inspector, high price), Mt Helix (would've used them if Antac wasn't lower price). The best part of the whole exercise is how you can't tell any difference at all once it's done cuz termites themselves aren't actually evident, just damage and/or droppings. That's just the nature of the thing, not specific to any company. Makes for a great feeling $1500-$2000 later.

The service has turned out fine. They show up and do their thing. They do a great job with the work.

The inspection was good. This inspector benefited from my experience with other inspectors from other companies, so I didn't think he was especially thorough but as a result of my prompting he did an good job. His evaluation of the situation was the same as 2 of the 3 other inspectors and his price was lower. The product he was going to use was the same as the others also. This company was willing to do a service contract that covered my entire condo including garage, even though they were only treating a localized area inside the condo (garage is not attached). The other companies would not provide that type of contract on a Condo, since the unit is attached to others. The price for localized treatment was extremely reasonable and the annual contract service fee was also reasonable. I have since called them back to look a some additional evidence of termites and they were timely, helpful and thorough. There was no fee for the call back and treatment and I was encouraged to call if I had any other concerns.

We chose another company because the cost to do the repairs by Antac was more expensive.

Upon returning from a week's vacation I found termite droppings under a wooden house beam on my back patio. Antac sent an inspector within 24 hours. The inspector arrived on time and was extremely professional. He did a thorough inspection of the entire house exterior, garage and attic. Fortunately the termites are confined to a very small area. Because the area is so small, he explained in great detail how we can get rid of the termites ourselves. Antac saved me a great deal of money and they have earned a life long customer. I will definitely be calling them again. I am extremely pleased.

Workers were very professional and completed assignment in timely fashion

They are fantastic. My only complaint is they only schedule on Saturdays starting I think in July. I can't remember how far it goes, and there is a period like in the spring where they don't offer weekend services so that is a little painful for those of the few work on Monday through Friday. For such a big company I feel they should have Saturday appointments available throughout the whole year rather than just summer time. They were recommend on Angie's list and that is why we chose them. They have been out for like three quarters of the year. I don't have any issues at all. I would continue to use them in the future.

The service has been great so far, it was a year long package and they have come 3 times so far. They have been very effective with dealing with the ant problem.
