The treatment was very successful. I waited at least a year before doing this review to see if the problem came back, and I am happy to say that the problem has not returned!
Description of Work: Antac Pest Control came to treat for bed bugs. He checked the entire house and determined that it was isolated to one room. The provider had us remove all clothes and smaller items from the affected room, and put them in plastic bags in the garage. He kept the door closed and sealed while he worked. He wore a mask and applied a couple of different kinds of chemicals throughout the room and to all the objects in it like the bed, bureau, lamps, etc. He also treated all cracks and crevices. He came back and applied this same treatment once a week for 3 weeks.

Though we ultimately chose another company this time, I was pleased with the professionalism and responsiveness of Antac. They had excellent availability for us and offered prompt advice for our problem. We would certainly consider contacting them again should the need arise.

We are still deciding what to do, but I wish I would have used Antac when we bought our house 3+ years ago. The inspection was complete and Bill was very professional and answered all my questions. I'd recommend them if you think you have a pest problem.
Description of Work: Bill did a complete house inspection after i found termite damage on my back balcony. Confirmed termite infestation on balcony and Bill arranged for his contractor to come out and give an estimate because the damage was not small enough where Bill we comfortable giving an estimate

The termite inspector came on time and was friendly and thorough in providing us with information, including where he found termite nests and the cost of the job. He was very helpful in answering all questions about directions for home preparation of the fumigation. The workers came on time, and finished the job on time. Although they had to take down part of a fence to do the tenting, they put it back up after the fumigation.

My experience was very good. They sat down and discussed with me my options after they inspected what we may need done. He explained everything in such detail and he had great professionalism. He made me feel good about choosing them. He then walked us through what was going to happen and the steps we would need to do during the process. He wrote everything out and gave us a guide as well. He was very thorough. We did not shop around after him and he was our first choice!

They are fine. The last approximate date of service with them was November. I don’t remember the exact cost of the service. I found them on Angie’s List. They are actually just fine.

We have had a very good experience with them. There is no problem. They come and we do not seem to have a problem but if we do have a problem, they respond. Their pricing is also okay.

It went great! We scheduled them to come out and perform the treatment while we were out of town. We came back to a tidy house and little indication anyone had even been inside, except for a couple of open containers, bins, and closets to make sure everything was aired out. They were very easy to schedule with and they answered all of our questions promptly before the service. I am a little disappointed some of the plants near the foundation died, but I was warned they could be affected as the crew needed a clear path around the house.

Tile broken from tenting was not done for over a month later. Color was not right when broken tile were replaced. Did not call when tenting was completed,as requested Damage was done to stucco and wood patio during tenting . When requested to repair patio was told it was due to termite damage. They did respond when I complained; tile from back of roof was shifted to areas of view. Patio wood railing that was broken was not repaired, per above.

Response to the accusation regarding Broken tiles: Due to the high volume of tile warranties being done there is generally a 6-8 week time frame for the tiles to get replaced. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. There were over 100 broken tiles that were replaced under warranty and the roofer took a sample to match the color of the tiles. Over time the color of the tiles will discolor so when new tiles are put on you can generally tell a difference. [Member name removed] didn’t like the new color of the tiles even though they were matched with the current tile color and told the roofer she wanted them replaced. The roofer wasn’t under any obligation to replace the tiles but did so at NO ADDITIONAL COST. 2. RESPONSE to accusation that No phone call was made: There wasn’t any information in [member name removed] account asking for a phone call when the tenting was completed. [Member name removed] was told when she signed the agreement that the tent would come off on the third day and that she would be able to re-enter by 2:00pm. 3. Response to the accusation regarding Damage to stucco: [Member name removed] didn’t mention any stucco damage in any conversation or pictures she sent. This is news to us and questionable. 4. Damage to wood patio: [Member name removed] emailed Rick, the initial inspector, pictures of the damage that was present on her deck on December 16th. THIS DAMAGE WAS ALREADY ON THE DECK PRIOR TO THE FUMIGATION. Rick replied back saying QUOTE: “We cannot be held responsible for your deck. The deck was in a very poor state before the fumigation as you know. We are lucky our worker wasn’t hurt. Your deck and stairs are in a very dilapidated state as my contractor is a witness to which is why I had him come to your home to give a bid for repairs the same day you signed the contract for fumigation. If you would like the previously damaged fungus and dryrot wood members repaired please let me know. We appreciate your business very much and will work with you the best we can. Thank you, Rick Morgan” END QUOTE [Member name removed] contacted the branch manager on January 15th, 2014 and emailed him the pictures of the deck. He told [member name removed] he would talk to Rick about it and get back to her. He left a message and emailed [member name removed] telling her he spoke with Rick and needed to speak to her about the deck. [Member name removed] never returned his call or email and when the review came up on Angie’s list on February 10th, 2014 he called her again leaving a message, but have yet to hear back from her. They have been great so far. They solved our problem. They're good. They're all over it. They were prompt and on time. They were thorough in what did. The sales guy had good personality. They did a good job. We're trying to get through some issues so I would probably have more to see if he could solve this problem but it takes time so I'm okay with it right now and I'm very pleased with their service.

They seemed to be comprehensive, my wife got the quote and she told me he seemed really young but it seemed sure enough for what we wanted and the price was right. We'll probably be doing the business with them as soon as we can schedule it. They were very responsive and they were very prompt.

Spiders are extremely hard to get rid of as they lay eggs all over your house. They didn't charge us any additional fees for the continuous sprays after their first visit. We renewed a contract with Antac as they were super effective and always took care of our needs!
Description of Work: We had an infestation of brown widows. They sprayed one time and came back two weeks later to continue spraying and were able to get the spiders cleared out within the month. They would come out every three months afterwards as a check-up.

I had three companies come to my house & make estimates for termite control. Antac provided the best overall treatment and the best cost. They repaired the damaged wood, including large front posts which supported the roof, and replaced damaged window frames. They replaced much damaged wood overall. They then tented the house. And after this all was finished, they repaired all the tiles which had been broken. I was pleased with their work overall.

We had our house tented for termites. The men arrived to tent a little early, but that was better than late. We went on a mini-vacation for 2 nights and came home and it was all finished. When the representative came to make the estimate on the cost and we decided to go with them, he brought the bags, rubber bands and instructions to package everything up. I thought it was going to be horrendous, but it was just BUSY!!!! It took a few days to unpack, but it is great to know we are free of crawlies!!!

Be aware that if you are looking for anything less than a one-year contract Antac will charge you 60% of the remaining visits. Their only scheduling/payment option is a bi-monthly 1 year contract.

We have an approximately 2,600 sq ft house, the tent went up on a Monday, came off two days later on Wednesday, after several hours of the tent removal the home was safe to reenter. Everyone involved was very courteous and helpful with giving updates on the process.

Initially contracted for quarterly service. Initial visit very effective but qualify of service dropped on subsequent visits after personnel changes. Did not renew contract. Continuing to use them on a per visit basis while looking for another company. Update: Quality of service continued to decline over past year and we've stopped using Antec. Inconsistent quality of service with each visit (they seem to have high turnover of personnel) and missed appointment commitments were the final straw.

Antac came out within 48 hours, and the ants were gone in exactly the amount of time that Antac said they would be. The people are very nice, very responsive, and the service is effective.
