Avi and the whole team at SOD builders did an entire remodeling project for us by adding a second floor to our house. They were remarkable people to work with, reliable and polite while Avi and the office staff focused of keeping the budget within the agreed one. Avi was very structured, kept our project on the timely schedule and during the entire work, he made sure to avoid any hidden charges or increases in the price due to several changes we had. We had complete assurance that Avi and his team ARE the right people to work at our home. The office designer provided her professional help based on the design goals and vision, helping to select fixtures, colors etc… which made this remodeling very easy and stressful. We would absolutely hire them again. We recommend them to anyone who asks!

We just finished our construction on our house which from design to last walk thru, has taken 5 weeks. I’m a particular person with very high expectations. Adam and his professional crew, worked with us hand by hand from the design to the actual constructions including the completion in the exact way we could only wish for. We have heard so many nightmare stories regarding costs, change orders, lousy scheduling etc… and even more from several friends and people we know that have done remodeling projects and wanted to avoid as many of these companies as possible. Before we decided to work with SOD builders, we talked to all the involved people to be sure that everyone knew what expectations we have from them all. SOD builders built what we asked for and during the work, they kept offering recommendations and improvements which was based off their skills to make sure we will end up with the best remodeling results. Everything is high quality and beautiful. The work was completed on time and on budget while by far exceeded our hopes and expectations.

We highly recommend SOD builders! Adam worked with us on the complete remodeling project of our kitchen. The work included the complete design and implementation. That remodeling process was based on a daily work that was managed by Adam. Besides Adam, we worked with SOD builders office staff that was in charged to order all the materials, making sure that everything will be delivered to our house on time and to provide us with any paperwork that was part of the remodeling. We can clearly state that everyone on the SOD builder’s team were patient, professional and hardworking people no matter what issue was raised during the work. SOD builders proved us that even though remodeling is never easy, they can do it by making sure that we are happy and satisfied during the whole time. They do what they say they will do!

SOD builders just finished our remodeling project for our master bathroom including the master bedroom plus few other tasks at our house which part of them were the installation of new backsplash and countertops in the kitchen. Gal and his team were professional the whole time of the work. During our first meeting with Gal, he explained to us how his approach to supervising the remodeling project and that his main interest is to ensure that they do the remodeling project before preparing the legal documents for us to sign. From that moment, our experience with them was excellent including the company designer. We love the results of the remodeling that they did for us and it’s a huge add-on to our house. SOD builders recently finished our complete kitchen remodeling project at our investment house. They were great people to work with during the entire remodeling. The in-house designer of SOD builders was very helpful by talking to us and understanding what we want to get and need in the kitchen. Our meetings with the designer was a good stage in determining the perfect layout. The construction work was smooth and by far surpassed our expectations! Our project manager (Avi) was on top of everything during the entire time. He made sure to inform us about each step that was completed and he also made sure to email us with videos and pictures of the work. The construction quality was excellent as well. We highly recommend SOD builders.

SOD builders completely upgraded our new house with a completely new kitchen, hardwood floors subway tile and home automation features, new interior whole wood doors, including new paint all around the house, ceilings and crown moldings. All of the work that they did, was finished on time and within the approved estimate that was given to us by Oren. Oren is knowledge, very skilled contractor, a truly problem solver and he did more than he should in order to make us happy and satisfied with our house remodeling project. Our remodeling project was a huge success and we feel that we got much more than what we were promised.

In the past, we have worked with few contractors and SOD builders is simply the best contractor we had! Our large scale remodeling project included several issues and chAviges due to some structure problems that our new house had. Rather than take the easy route and provide a short solution, Avi always avoided them and worked to get the remodeling just right, providing hard solutions to many of the problems (small and big ones). We very much appreciated the motto of them which say: it must be right and perfect. More than that, all the people that worked at the team of Avi was a professional and polite person to work with and that’s includes the people at the office too. They were knowledgeable, hardworking and courteous staff. During the work, we noticed very well that they went out of their way to accommodating the neighbors – something that we personally didn’t expect that. The Team from SOD builders was outstanding team to work with and to have at our house. From the initial consultation that we had with Allen all the way to the final remodeling project, we were really happy and pleased with each stage and step of the work. We definitely couldn’t be happier. The top quality (materials, finish products and method of working) of everything they did or purchased for us was great. Our remodeling project was divided to 2 sections: inside the house (New Kitchen, New bathrooms and bedrooms) and the outside (Back yard and front yard landscape and hardscape). In the back yard they converted it from something pretty much useless to something that we use on a daily basis. Inside the house they demolished the sections of the remodeling, designed and build new spaces. All the involved crew were at the house on a daily basis and on time while they worked full days and sometimes even longer. At the end of each day, they even did a great job by cleaning up the job site and really proved us that they take a huge pride in the work they do. We have already referred them to our closes friends.

The entire SOD builder’s team that worked at our house, made our dream come true. Avi’s skilled and experience was not only by helping us to select all the materials that we needed for our remodeling project, but it his skills helped us stay on the budget that we had for the work! (for sure not an easy thing to achieve). Avi and the team were very professional, honest, hardworking people and gave our project a great attention to all the details even the smallest ones. The complete project, we see how all the small and minor items and decisions that were created by them, ended up with a wonderful end result. All of our family members and guest, were wondering about what company was able to make such a beautiful work and with such a good amount of planning. We are truly in love not only with the beautiful design that they came up with, but also with the workmanship in our new kitchen, master bedroom and master bathroom. I hired SOD builders to re-do my entire house that I recently purchased and planned to live in. I hired SOD builders to design and implement the construction of the Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways, front yard and back yard. Avi and Ehud were the main people that I worked with and after several meetings and conversations about what I want to get, they were able to come up with the draft design that included everything I wanted and it fit my style and budget. The draft design was polished and finalized and I gave the approval for the work to start. They were very flex with the entire remodeling project and they even did several changes that came up during the work and they didn’t charge me for them. Any bump that appeared during the construction, the entire team was on top of it and they were able to find the right solution that worked out very well and they took the required measures to remedy the situation to my satisfaction. The team including Avi and Ehud were very responsive to any of my phone calls, e-mails and even text messages and the working crew were skilled and courteous. I would recommend them to anyone!

SOD builders demolished and remodeled several parts at our house. They did our kitchen, two bathrooms and 2 fireplaces (1 at the formal living room and the second one at our master bedroom). While the people were working at the house they always tried as much as they could to keep the house clean and well organized. This was one of the main things that we truly loved to see because we were living at the house during the remodeling. The kitchen and bathrooms were demolished completely while we were able to use other parts of the house and Gal who managed this entire work, helped us in all the purchased, communicated with us on a daily basis and each Friday, he gave us a detailed progress report that kept us in the loop of the work. Our home is a lot more than the way we thought or imagined it will become and all of it is definitely because the people that were involved at our house. Shirel, at the office was really detailed and professional in regards to all the documents, paperwork, payments etc… She made sure to update us with any news or issues with her department in regards to our remodeling project. The guys who did the actual work (including several sub-contractors), always worked hard and they made sure that everything will fit perfectly and without any mistakes. They were polite, quite, respectful and professional. The finish project is stunning. We strongly recommend them to anyone!

I can’t say or write enough good words about SOD builders. It’s been a while since we wanted to remodel our kitchen and we had many doubts about who to hire for that work. While we were looking for the right company, our neighbor was about to complete their remodeling project with SOD builders. We really loved their project and the type of customer service they got so we also hired them for our house. The new kitchen remodeling is beyond our expectations and we are super happy. Our new kitchen is by far looks like it came out of a high end magazine. We are even more astonished, but, the functionality and the use of the space for this kitchen is exactly what we wanted. Our family is not small and now, we are having more than enough space to maneuver around the cabinets and island. Oren is really a great person to work and deal with. We highly recommend them to anyone!

Adam is a really professional person that truly cares about any of his job and work and he put a lot of attention in order to make it a success. During the remodeling work at my house, he was very responsive, on time and works really hard to get everything the right way and no less than perfect! We really recommend Adam, his team and each one from the office that was involved in my project (Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and laundry room) and I am also willing to present his final work to anyone who is interested.

Avi and his workers has finished our big remodeling that included the remodeling of: 2 bathrooms and the master bathroom, kitchen, family room and our vacation property in the bay area (the vacation house remodeling included new paint, update the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen – a 56000 remodeling value). Right after the remodeling was completed, our vacation property got sold and for higher value we would think it will. Avi’s work was high quality work and he stands behind his work results. While Avi was working on our vacation house, he worked at our house for the other things. His management skills were very good and it was proven to us by the process of the 2 projects. The project took close to 3 months and we are extremely happy with how it came out. Our kitchen received a complete new look with new cabinets, paint, lighting system and fixture, appliances, floor and more… The bathrooms were just painted and got new floors while we did the entire master bathroom including a new shower system and bath tub. The whole work was finished on time (with small delay that is normal for the size and the situation of our remodeling project), within our original budget (and no hidden charges) and the 2 houses were left in a spotless condition. The new tile work and the design services of everything are much higher than what we thought we will get. We would recommend them very much to anyone.

It was the most stressful project I've ever been a part of. The workers sent by the owner were great. Hard workers that respected our home. The PM's (we had more than one depending on the week or month) were okay in the sense they reacted to my calls or text messages - they were mostly clueless what work, if any, were being done at my home. One day we have workers, one day we wouldn't. I was always promised a project plan of some sort, but never got anything. They use this online tool to track everything, but it was mainly to track what they already did and of course, how much I owe them. The owner Oren does really want to do good, but in my opinion he doesn't really do a great job operationally. His staff has told my wife and I countless times that they rarely know where they need to be until the night before. This is a terrible business plan considering the number of contractors in the Bay Area, but I also heard that's pretty normal. That's sad, just because you might have been really good at construction doesn't really mean to really know how to run a business. A project that was to take 4 months ended up taking 7. SOD wasn't the cheapest or most expensive. I went with them because the "sales guy" seemed VERY confidant that our project was "easy" and would be done quickly. Once the agreement was signed, I had to ask several time when they would start. I finally got an answer of July 4th that "someone" is coming tomorrow (July 5th). That someone did come and worked for about 3 hours taking out my walkway. Then I saw no one until the week after. I kept asking the sale guys what's going on - he said someone will give you a plan that I was asking for and then he was MIA. According to Oren, he fired that sales the month after we started but I think he's still on. The norm for the following 7 months was not knowing what's going on - when things needed to be ordered, what I needed to do (my responsibilities), when concrete was being poured, who was coming to install what. It was an ordeal that if you aren't prepared, you will stress out. The thing is, you can never be prepared if you have not gone through this before. I don;t know how many times I had to complain to Oren, who probably thought in the end was glad to see this project finish (in his eyes). I never heard from him and would have expected one last "thanks for your business", but again, contractors can be terrible business people. A few extra things to mention: Mario is solid. He and his team are the "finishers". Paint, trim, etc. He knows what he is doing. Jose the roofer is okay. Nice guy but I think for our tile roof he could have done better. We ended up redoing our entire roof to install insulation under the tile. The hardwood floor guy (can't recall his name) also solid. The framers and concrete guys were good, but be prepared to pick up nails and other small/sharp debris. We have two small boys and we still find things left behind. They also did the window install - solid. Our house wasn't level in all areas and they were able to install it and "cover up" it looking like it was off. The stucco guy did an okay job. For the new area, no issues (solid). The the stucco around the replaced windows, I'm still trying to figure out how to better blend it with the existing stucco. Torsten, one of the PM's, was great. He was doing his best to manage things and had my best interest at heart. Unfortunately, Oren pushed all the buttons. Alan, tried his best all the way from SoCal. And Tomer, nice guy but I really don't trust him. He would say things that were contrary to what needed to be done and even contradicted his own team and owner. He was winging it. Price: In the end, I would bring in my own sub's. I found out that I could have saved money if I got my own roofer, exterior painter, electrical, etc. Oren (the owner): Does care about his customers and workmanship, but he really should get someone to run the business operationally. I'm not saying its easy, but if you're going to commit to several projects at the same time, you better get good people to manage your resources and schedules if you want better customer service. I know SOD got some good ratings from past customers, but based on the project size, this wasn't successful project in my opinion. Maybe they are great for smaller ones, but this project maybe had too many moving parts. He'll probably claim that he has done larger jobs where customers were happy, and that might be true. However, this wasn't the case for ours.

After the results of the final remodeling project that we got from SOD builders, we can write here that we couldn’t have asked for anything better starting with a skilled team or people or a better finished bathroom and Kitchen remodeling project! From the very early meeting that we had and all the way to the last cleaning, Allen and his team were totally brilliant. Allen was most helpful in coming up with the right decisions for our goals, he was clear, straightforward and honest about each stage of the work including the small details. They all were on time, respectful, and professional. They took extra care and attention in making sure that everything will be covered before starting to work and completely clean area before they left for the day and most of all when they complete the entire project. We had a master bathroom and a brand new designed kitchen that was worth each and every penny. We highly recommend SOD builders and Mainly Allen to anyone who is currently looking to have any type of a remodeling project done. We sure that it will be everything and anything you were looking for while being delivered by a skilled and professional team who really prove a commitment to customer satisfaction and a job well done!

Earlier this year we decided to do some home remodeling at our house. We agreed to remodel the kitchen, master bathroom and replacing the entire floor throughout our house. Selecting the right construction company for us wasn’t difficult and hard as we thought it would be because we were lucky enough to have a friend that hired SOD builders before to perform several remodeling projects and they were proud to refer them to us. To our house arrived a nice person by the name of Avi and he gave us all the requested information, ideas and estimate. We were shocked by all the important data and materials we needed and it proved us how much we know. More than that, He gave us a great amount of explanation on how they work, what should we expect from him and his office and how long should it takes. This information was very important one. The complete remodeling process was very smooth and easy. Avi and any one from the working crew were excellent! Fast, skilled, easygoing and really take pride in each work they did or do. It took close to a month to finish everything. We valued the fact that they were so eager to work and to do it on the best side of perfection. We love the new kitchen and bathroom that they did for us including the: cabinets, new tile floor, stone counter tops, white subway tile back splash, and in the kitchen the same. Many thanks for all the guys! We definitely love our updates and we loved each stage of the work.

I don’t have even 1 bad word to write about this company! They did a magnificent work on my new kitchen. I had some past experience from my previous job with contractors so I know what I am looking for and what I need to expect. SOD builders went much more beyond the regular work and it made my experience with them more than great. From the meetings stages, Gal made sure that I will the best deal to my money. Gal took good care of me, and my home while they did the remodeling work. My existing kitchen was the original kitchen that was never remodeled by any of the past owners and it was in a really bad shape. After few years since I purchased the house, many cabinets got broken and not working and this was the main reason for me to find someone that will be able to upgrade it and make it functional for my daily uses. I’m happy, lucky and blessed that this remodeling helped me to know that there are great contractors that can do the job on the best side with focus on honesty, professionally and hardworking. We spent over 5 months researching for a contractor that can remodel our kitchen before making our decision on will we hire. We got few estimates and in home consultations, and finally found SOD builders. SOD builders have been nothing but exceptional! Adam is an brilliant advisor. He was original, comprehensive, bright and loving. His wide knowledge is particularly helpful when it comes to decisions making. Unfortunately, our kitchen was unusual shape and he was able to create a perfect design within at shape. Adam was very quickly for any design changes and patiently took as much time as we needed during the design meetings. Oren the owner was always on top of our remodeling. Before the design was approved, he personally came over to confirm the drawings. He then oversees the actual work in order to make sure that there are no problems or issues with the overall work. The kitchen cabinets were delivered to our house on time and the installation took 3 days. The installation went really well. We had few minor problems which Adam dealt and solved them immediately and without any drama. We are so impressed with the quality, precision and finish. It has been few months since the remodeling project got completed and we are still impressed by how the new kitchen came out including its beauty and design. This project was completed on time and within the budget we had agree.

Before we hired SOD, we met several contractors in order to get as many opinions as we could for the remodeling and mainly, to know how much will it cost us to do it. We selected SOD builders due to several reasons that included: Mixture of worth, carefulness and of course price. During the remodeling, Allen and his team were in continuous communication with us and they always consulted with us when it comes to any serious decisions. All the small changes that accorded during the construction were managed great by Allen and his people. They also went above of what we wanted in order to make sure that our house was protected from any type of damage during the work. We hired SOD builders for a complete master bath remodeling including the kitchen and patio as well as a replacing few windows on the back of the house. SOD builders recently remodeled few sections at our house. The work was handled by Allen who was the person that we dealt from the first meeting till the end of the work. Allen visited us several times before we hired them and he wanted to get the idea of what we are looking for and what type of styles we like. After we decided to go forward with him, He prepared his estimate with time frame of each one of the sections, and during the work, he made sure to follow up this schedule. The work included many workers and Allen visited them on a daily basis making sure that they know what to do and that the daily tasks have been completed on the best way. the work that we did included the complete remodeling of the master bedroom and bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms and bathrooms. the work was completed in 2 months and we didn't have any problem with Allen or with any of the workers. Allen made sure to inform us about any upcoming payment and at the office, we had 1 person that we dealt with about anything that belong to paperwork, invoices, payments and permits. We are very happy with this whole remodeling process and we will hire them to anyone that will be interesting in any remodeling project.

Its been a while since we needed to repair the stucco outside our house and to add a new coat of paint. We found Avi from SOD online after we did a research about them and we noticed that they are capable of doing such a project. Avi was sent to us from the office and he did a great job by planing, executing and delivering a great product. We are very happy with his knowledge, experience, dedication and management skills. We will hire him again in the future for any additional project we will have.

Oren & his crew of people from S.O.D builders did a magnificent kitchen remodeling project on our out of state investment house. Because we live out of state, this remodeling project was a bit hard for us but what made it easier was that during the remodeling, Oren communication skills was excellent and he kept us informed about each step of the remodeling by sending us videos/pictures of the work while in progress. Before we hired Oren, we met with him while we were in the states and he made sure to provide us his design and plan for the kitchen and each change was done fast and good. After we changed the layout of the kitchen, we finalized the paper work and we gave Oren the ‘ok’ to start. In addition to the kitchen remodeling project, we also expanded the dining room and the living room area by removing a wall between them, added a French door, replacing the 2 windows in back of the living room and install new floor. The selection of all the materials was done also while we were in the state and Oren went with us to his vendors so we can make our decisions. The people at S.O.D builders that were involved in our remodeling, were professional, honest, full of ideas and did everything we asked in good manners and even more. The responses from Oren’s crew was helpful and important.

They gave me the bathroom I've wanted for years. And they got it done quicker than anticipated in the original schedule. Very easy to work with.
