Stop your search!! USE THIS CONTRACTOR :) Honesty, I can not say good enough things about S O D builders. When my husband and I decided we wanted to do this remodel we talked to over 15 building companies. They all either quoted us WAY over S O D's quote, or they basically told us that they couldn't really say how much it would cost until they started. Oren (the owner) was one of the first contractors I met with. I didn't hire him on the spot because he seemed to me to be a little young. Even though I really liked him when we first met his age concerned me so I continued meeting with other contractors. After meeting with many other companies we decided to go with Oren and I couldn't be happier we did. I think the fact that he is a little bit younger then most guys worked to our advantage because he has so much energy, drive and passion for what he does. From top to bottom he did an excellent job. He ALWAYS returned text messages and phone calls in a timely manner. He constantly kept me in the loop about what was happening and when I could expect to see certain things done. His crew was always on time, polite, and clean. Most importantly the quality of work is absolutely wonderful. Everything is done RIGHT, no cutting corners or sloppy work anywhere. To me, the most remarkable thing about this whole project was that Oren was able to come in, listen to everything we wanted, give us a quote and stand by that quote. Throughout our project their were minor changes that I know for a fact made the project more expensive for him. For example, we originally thought the concrete slab under the garage was going to be able to be repaired so that we wouldn't have to replace it. After further inspection Oren decided that it would have to be replaced, so he poured all new concrete and didn't add a penny to our bill. The cost for a whole new slab came out of his pocket, he did not pass that cost onto us. He took responsibility and said that he was not going to change our contract because he gave us his word that it would only cost the amount he told us on the first day. I have already recommended Oren to my family and neighbors. I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience was but I think you get the idea :) I'll close by saying if you are looking for a contractor who is honest, has VERY reasonable prices, will keep his word, keep a deadline and do a good job, this is your man! Oren is NOT a salesman, All the other contractors I met with made me feel like they were trying to sell me a used car. Oren isn't that way, he's not slick or smooth. He doesn't pressure you or talk you into things and at first that can almost seem a bit strange if you are used to the other guys. But take a minute and listen to what he has to say because you will like what you hear! They were professional, timely, did everything they said they would do. They were clean and tidy. And they completed the job on time. I would recommend them highly.

SOD Builders (Oren) came in with a very reasonable quote for a remodel after we had hired one of his painters to do some touch up around the house for a couple of days. We remodeled the downstairs guest bathroom and Oren and his team were timely, professional and courteous and were very patient and respectful as we navigated our way through this process for our first time. We plan on calling SOD builders again for future kitchen and bath remodels and suggest you do the same! We are very pleased with the results.

We purchased a "Big Deal" coupon thru Angie's List for a "Painter for a Day", which seemed like the perfect deal for us since we had a couple of small areas to paint and didn't want to do it ourselves. I must say that the original work performed by the company left us very unsatisfied, and I left a review based on our experience. I was immediately contacted by Oren, the owner, asking what the issues were, and how he might make it right. He came out a night or two later, met with my fiancé and I to view the work that was done, hear our concerns, and promise to get a worker out immediately to remedy the situation. He explained that he was going to get one of his best guys out to redo anything we wanted him to do at no charge to us. We were impressed with how quickly the situation was fixed. The worker was out the next day and worked all day long, doing a very god job getting everything done with perfection. We were so pleased, we went ahead and hired them for another day, to continue painting. We are now thinking of other jobs to have SOD Complete. We would recommend this company to any of our friends, and the initial experience we had with them is not indicative of the work that they perform. Everyone has a down day from time to time, it's how you rebound from that, that matters, and Oren, and SOD Builders rebounded brilliantly. We look forward to doing more business with them!! We had several estimates for the work and experienced a few very aggressive salesmen. When we met with Gil Moscovich from SOD we were very impressed with his knowledge, ideas, and the price was very fair. Gil kept us informed throughout the project and worked with my schedule. The bathroom looks exactly how I had imagined. We are very pleased with the results. We would recommend SOD and will definitely use them for future jobs.

Carlos did a great job! He is Punctual, very courteous and pleasant. Very pleased with how the bathroom turned out, would definitely use again.

The job went very well. There were no issues. The owner, Oren, came by beforehand to give us an estimate. The company called to let us know what time the painters would be coming by (they work on Saturdays which is great). They also followed up with a confirmation email. The workers were here on time first thing Saturday morning. They were very careful with the carpet, covered everything with plastic and left the house nice and clean at the end of the day. They did a wonderful job on the ceiling. We got a call from Oren in the evening asking if everything went well which was nice. Would definitely use this company again on future projects - without any hesitation.

SOD scheduled promptly to come out and do the work a week from when I contacted them. SOD asked for pictures to understand the job and I took and sent the pictures. All seemed pretty organized so far. Workmen were to arrive between 8am - 9am. I stayed home for the day to be here and let them in. Their office called at about 8:30am saying the workmen were stuck in traffic and would be late arriving. When they hadn't arrived by 10am I called. The lady at the office checked and called back saying the workmen's car had broken down and one would come now and one would come after the car was towed. When no one arrived by 12:30 I called again. Office was surprised no one had still arrived. Turns out now that they had an accident and someone else was coming. Eventually a gentleman showed up to look at the job. He said the job wasn't exactly what they expected (he thought they were to replace a sink, but okay, not a big deal). He called back to the office and explained the job (job needed 2 people due to weight of the sink). The CEO of the company personally came out to apologize for the job not being done and offered to and get people out. However by this time it was past 2pm and I was not convinced they would be able to finish so we rescheduled for Saturday. He was very apologetic and offered me extra hours of free work (I had 2 guys for 4 hours) to make up for it. The guys arrived promptly at 8am on Saturday and go right to work. The job took about 4 hours and they did a great job. The sink looks like new. The built a new framework to hold the weight of the sink up tight to the bottom of the counter top and prevent future sagging. The also installed my new Garbage disposal and repainted the shelf in the cabinet under the sink. It all looks like new. They cleaned everything up. They also did some work on my front french doors where I had a small leak, leveling out the bottom door seal. At the end, I am very happy with the work. The company handled the original snafu well and I was impressed to have the boss come out personally to apologize. This wasn't a big job, but I would recommend them from my experience so far. The work quality was very good.

Carlos came right on time, was very polite, worked very hard and consistently all day painting our black iron front fence and did a great job. I would have him back again any time.

Sarah was immediately helpful and friendly on the phone when i called her after purchasing the deal, answering all my questions and scheduling the job promptly. She followed up with an email letting me know the name of my painter, when he would arrive, what I would need to provide, and an invitation to call with any further questions. I got a call a day or two before the date to confirm everything. My painter did change, but I wasn't too worried about it. I was to expect him at 8:00. At around 7:50 Carlos arrived--he was very friendly and professional, and was ready to get started. He even seemed fine with one of my two cats being a little over interested in what he was doing! Long story short, the deal was for seven hours. Carlos worked tirelessly that whole time to get my job done, and he did a fabulous job. He even offered to fix the mistakes we made when we tried to paint ourselves! The place looks great, and he obviously has pride in his work. If all the guys at SOD are like Carlos, I'll be calling them next time I have a project needing professionals.

Oren, listen to what I had to say and did the job I wanted done. The company will be returning for another job in a few months. Oren, did not try force me into letting him do other work to get more money out of. Oren, employee's Carlos was on time and did the job as he was instructed to do. My grade is an A+ for the company and Sara.

Needless to say, after being informed that I could take or leave their offer, I left it. No paper work, no written estimate, being forced to wait weeks for an estimate. The worst of all possible contractor abuses. Additionally after noticing that I had other work being performed on my house, the contractor demanded to know who was doing the work. NOT his business.

We really want modern style bathrooms with high quality. We interviewed several contractors before doing the project, and think SOD Builders understood what we want very well, and they had good experience on high quality remodel projects. Then we decided to have them do the job. Also we had nice communication thru the whole process. The workers knew the building code very well. The final result is amazing. We love the new bathrooms. It's pleasant to take shower there. We recommended SO? Builders to another friend who plan to do remodels, and would like to recommend them to more friends.

I met the owner of SOD Builders, Oren Dagan after I had a real bad experience with another construction company who was doing work for me. Oren inherited a remodeling nightmare. Work was slow and shoddy when he came to us. Oren is always accessible to us and very accommodating. He responds to emails and calls immediately. He is a professional and a man of his word. After all work was completed Oren had his crew clean the property thoroughly, and thoroughly means that they took each book out of the shelf and cleaned it, took all the knives and forks out of the kitchen drawers and washed them, even they didn't do work in the kitchen. While work was done he kept his crew from being intrusive and everything was always covered with plastic tarps to keep the dust and dirt to a minimum. They removed all of the furniture and carpets out of the rooms, did their work in there and put everything back in like it was before. All debris was removed and there was a lot as the bathrooms were completely gutted. As this is a vacation home and we live in Europe it was imperative that we could trust someone with the house key and keep us informed of any problems etc. Oren did this. He sent pictures of the work continuing nearly every day. He also opened online accounts on Construction Online and Basecamp to sort his pictures and files so we could access them. He also chose some of the accessories and materials and ran them by us for approval. One of the most important fact to me was, that everything he found during demolition and construction (ie. rotten beams under the drywalls or any other problems) he corrected without charging me anything extra. But for my information he took pictures and told me about it. For each of the projects he gave me a detailed quote before we agreed on the price. All in all we found Oren to be a friendly, honest, hardworking, professional and trustworthy man. We feel very lucky to have him working in our home and will use him again on our next project. We highly recommend him.

I cannot recommend these guys enough. Seriously, my family was in the middle of a mold crisis. Twice in two years. The first time someone recommended that I contact Oren and I did. Boy was I glad I did. He came out RIGHT away, helped me and my young kids, took care of everything, figured out what the real problem was (which honestly no one else had been able to do until that point), and then completely saved us. He totally treated us like we were his own family. Responsive, quick, efficient, kind. Knew what he was doing. Had awesome guys working for him that we totally trusted. When we found ourselves needing more help (for different reasons) the next year, I knew who to call. and again he swooped in and saved us. SERIOUSLY, CALL HIM. His prices were beyond fair, and I really came to just totally depend on him. I am so glad someone referred him to us, and am happy to forward the favor. He really made us feel safe and important and not gouged and did everything he said he would. and did it well. quickly. what more can you ask for??
