He was on time, performed quality work, and was professional.

Called these folks for a quote. They were prompt to get back to me and the representative was very polite and professional. I gave a general description of the work I wanted to do and was told that they have a $3,500 minimum charge. I'm pretty certain that the job would have exceeded that, but was a little annoyed about the concern about cost before they even understand what I need done.

Lance was my project director. He is a fantastic designer. It was a joy to have a knowledgeable person assist me in choosing materials. We had a great shopping adventure. When I didn't find exactly what I needed at the first store we went across town to a second supplier and found the vanity and faucets I wanted. All of the workers were friendly and courteous. I especially appreciated the way they cleaned up after each day's work ended. Lance gave me his cell number and he was available at all times. The job completed early. Lance checked after each phase of the work to see that it was proceeding well. He is easy to deal with and talented designer. Give him a call for your next job!

I contacted this provider and received an immediate reply, but there were no openings for the next few weeks so I looked for someone else.

It went well. They were quick to come and got the project done that I needed to do. One painter came. They cleaned up after themselves. I provided the paint.

It went very well. Lance was on top of it. He had his men finish the massive project in four days instead of the five days we thought. They brought in a massive trailer and loaded all of the debris. One sprinkler was broken and they payed for it. Our home is over 100 years old and We have a very large garden and I was worried it would be damaged but they were very clean an thoughtful about where they walked and picking up after themselves. They use a vacuum as they go to get all the dust and grime. I would recommend SOD Builders to anyone who needs a new roof. They take very good care of your home. Thank You!

I had a small guest bathroom remodel job and met with approximately four contractors. SOD Builders came in with a cost that was within our budget. We broke the job up into two stages, the first was a demo of a 3x3 shower and build a walk in tile shower that can accommodate ageing parents with a grab bar, shower bar, soap shelf and seat. New tile was laid and our new shower was a nice combo of large tile, glass tile mosaic and stainless steel appointments and a seat. Oren and his crew took about two weeks for the complete job which also included installing a shower light fan combo, paint and trim. The second portion of the rebuild was the installation of a new vanity and placing tile where the old vanity once stood. This vanity was not made for a corner and SOD builders took the marble splash guard and matched it to another piece to create a corner vanity unit. We are very pleased with the work performed and the crew that worked on this job. We would highly recommend SOD builders for your construction / remodel jobs.

The entire process was great. They were thorough and helped select the color of the materials used. The crew worked fast and showed concern for our life routine as we were still in the house while the roof was replaced. They used a giant magnet in the yard afterward to pick up as many loose nails as possible (Though we're still finding some which I guess is inevitable)

It went pretty well! Liran was our project manager and he was extremely responsive. He went with us to Home Depot to select all of the materials and did his best to make sure we had all the mats we needed up front. We spent no more than an additional ~ 200 on materials after that initial trip, which kept us well within the budget that I had established. There were some issues with parts of the work, but Liran stepped up and corrected it immediately with no arguments, having his guys rip it out and do it over. He constantly said he wanted us to be happy with the work and we couldn't be happier - everything was done very well and with no arguing or trying to cut corners - if something wasn't perfect the contractors ripped it out and did it again. Payment schedules were fair and standard, there was no pressure or harassment, they just made sure that everything was done right and that we were happy, getting paid was just a happy coincidence.

He brought a kit from a hardware store and it did not work.

Still did not stop rain from puddling in one area of our concern but overall, finished floor looked nice.

When I called and spoke with them, it sounded like it was going to be more involved. It also sounded like it was going to cost more so I didn’t use the big deal.

They were very professional, courteous, came out and they did their job and they did not bother anyone. All in all they were very professional.

They were very good and very nice. It seems like they did a good job. I haven't seen anything blow off, because we do have trouble here with the wind sometimes. They were very good about the cleanup and everything they did. The pricing was good.

They removed a wall for me. It cost seven or eight grand. They were really good at communicating with the customer. They have the technology to keep the customer up to date with the progress of the project. They are always clean when they leave and they got the job done when they said they would.

On 7/28/13, SOD Builders, Inc. visited our house for a house exterior painting quote. Mr. Cohen was punctual, gave a great presentation, was very professional and his estimate was competitive.

Fine. I'm a bit frustrated. I've tried to report this as a non completed project at least 4 times. Never works. :(

They were very good. They were prompt, they were timely for the appointments and they were neat. They cleaned up after themselves, they did what they said they were going to do, in the time allotted, and I had no problems with the support afterwards. They came and measured, told me what I needed, and gave me the price.

I was debating for long time if to post this review or not, but after long thoughts I have decided to be fair with Angie's list members and with my contractor. I originally contacted Oren and SOD on the end of 2012, for remodeling my master bathroom- I interviewed 4 different contractors and decided to go with different contractor, as result of better price. Oren's price was the second to high on my list but not that far from the other contractors. I regret the moment I chose a different contractor. It was a nightmare. The project took 6 months over time, no show at work many time and poor quality. I had to call every single day to ask if someone is coming or not, it seemed that after they have demolished the bathroom, they really didn't care. On Sept 2013 after all the struggle, and you can only imagine how hard it was to be in a bedroom going through construction for sixteen months!!!!!! I've then decided to call SOD again to come and see how they can resolve it for me. It was not an easy task, at first Oren said absolutely NO, he said he wouldn't take any responsibility on such poor quality he predicted that underneath the drywall many things were done wrong, and for him to do the project he will need to redo the whole thing. I must say that at first I felt a bit uncomfortable, like I'm being punished for not choosing him at first, but when he explained and provided me with a different client who had a similar problem, I have decided to put my trust in him. Before we even started, the office (everyone there are so nice and willing to help) made sure everything is at the house, from the valve to the sink, tile, vanity- they said they understand how hard it was for me and they really made me feel like they care, they wanted to complete the project as soon as possible, and in order to do so everything should be available for them. Michelle the designer was on top every little detail and was available anytime needed. When the crew demoed the bathroom walls, as Oren predicted they showed me and gave me pictures of the water damage behind the shower walls, as no water barrier has been used. the sewer line were not connected to all of the sewer was going underneath my house and if not caught on time would damage my foundation. I can't say enough how grateful I am for redoing the bathroom, and not looking for just the easy way out. Oren stepped up and helped me complete this project, and I LOVE my new bathroom. The office called me daily to notify me what's going in on each day. They are using some online Management software, but I don't know how to use computers... I am 68 years old and live by myself. I can tell you, it's not easy to trust contractors, but you cannot go wrong with Oren Dagan and SOD Builders team. Sometimes it worth to pay a bit more and to get much more in return. Things ended up okay but the big deal coupon turned out not to be what I expected it to be. It covered very much, so, I ended up spending quite a bit more money than that. It was all okay at the end but I became skeptical of all the big deal coupons. You got to read this small print of what they cover. Their work was done okay. It was a little tough get me tied up. I had them do some other work in addition to this paint in the house. But it ended up all okay.

It was not a positive experience in general. They hired Day laborers from Home depot and didn’t have capable people on site to manage the job.

The service was less satisfactory. I had to spend two hours on my knees scrapping up paint splotches from the job they did.
