We received several quotes from contractors, some of whom tried to up sell or told us we couldn't do what we had envisioned and would need a completely different floor plan. But most were very pleasant and 3 came in at approximately the same bid price of 48,000. In the end, we chose IND Construction because we liked David and believed he would do what he said he would do. In the beginning David told us the job would take between 2 and 4 months to complete and it ended up taking a little over 2 months. Their were a few glitches along the way, such as finding that the wall we knocked out was in fact a retaining wall after the engineer had said that it wasn't. Or when a member of one work crew knocked our driveway gate out of the wall and just propped it back up without telling us. But as soon as any problem was encountered David had it fixed immediately, including figuring out how to put a giant beam across our ceiling to replace the retaining wall at no extra charge. Living in a construction zone for 2 months is never pleasant but the majority of subcontractors used by IND are very professional, clean and friendly. This made the experience better than expected. We would definitely work with David and his team again and we are very pleased with how well everything turned out.

July 25, 2013 Dear Sirs: We wish to recommend IND Construction INC. to anyone considering renovation of their home. Our first experience with IND was the replacement of old tile kitchen countertops with Ceasarstone. The demolition and installation of the quartz counter top and new tile backsplashes was done in a clean and timely manner. When we needed to renovate our bathroom to accommodate Elaine?s mother, who needed to move in with us, we had several companies bid and included IND Construction. The IND designs of two bathrooms to replace the existing one, was the most efficient layout offered by any of the other companies. Knowing the quality of their previous work, we were confident of their ability to undertake this project. David Ifergan sat down with us and brought an associate, Joseph, who offered many varied tile and fixture variations for us to choose for the two bathrooms. In a couple of hours we had ordered all tile and fixtures needed. This meeting saved a great deal of driving to shop for these items ourselves, and the choices were competitively priced. We can?t praise David and his crew of workers enough. Their handling of the demolition, construction, and installation of these bathrooms was fantastic. The men worked very hard. They did great, careful work, and in a timely manner. All our questions were addressed. All phone calls were answered so we felt the supervisor was accessible at all times. The crew cleaned up every evening they worked and were respectful of our family?s needs during construction. (If you have had construction in your home you know the family feels like they are ?camping? out during the process) IND did all they could to make the remodel run smoothly. The most professional dependable construction company ever!! David Ifregan met us at our home on time. He was courteous and thoughtful in his presentation of ideas. His pricing was fair. He had to create a shower downstairs where there was none before. His design was innovative and impressive. The local city inspector was impressed with each part of the job he had to inspect. He said it was some of the best work he has ever seen. I highly recommend IND Construction. We are in fact having an additional bathroom remodeled as well, which is still on going.

My townhouse is a second home so I had to rely on the crew to meet me on time, do their work, clean up, etc. We have a very strict Homeowners' Association and we never had a complaint about any of the actions of the men who worked on the project. I met them there most of the time but I also trusted them to work without my supervision. All went well and when we had questions, David and/or his supervisor drove out to Oxnard to check up on the project.

Total kitchen remodel, kitchen looks beautiful. Great working with David, owner...very personable, professional, informative. Crew always punctual, polite, hard workers. Kitchen completed within the promised timeframe. I would work with David again on other projects.

IND Construction was a good choice for us - our kitchen is small and we wanted a complete remodel including cabinets, countertop and backsplash, appliances, lighting, flooring which retained the same basic cabinet and appliance configuration but with updates. David Ifergan, the contractor, listened to us and provided helpful suggestions to realize this goal. At the first meeting he generated a priced contract, was able to begin work within a week, and delivered on everything promised. All phone calls were promptly answered, he as well as all workmen showed up on schedule,working six and sometimes seven days a week. The various stages in the project were all scheduled and completed on time so the next step could begin promptly. The partial bathroom remodel included replacing the subflooring, tile floor, new vanity, medicine cabinet and ceiling fan/heater/light as well as paint. The original plan was to purchase a pre-made vanity but space limitations in this very small bathroom made it impossible to find a vanity which worked, so on short notice IND constructed a custom vanity with a Caesarstone countertop to meet the specific requirements of the space. The project began the day after Thanksgiving with the demolition of the kitchen. David promised everything would be completed by Christmas and it was! Things we liked best: promptness in returning calls; willingness to answer questions; final cost was that specified in the contract with a couple of changes based on our choices, e.g., tile; quick attention to taking care of the little glitches that inevitably occur in this type of project; keeping to the promised schedule; David's friendliness.

Met with David, owner, and told him what we wanted to to do and what recommendations he had. He came up with a detailed plan for the remodel of our kitchen, master bathroom, and all bedrooms, living room and dining room. He gave us a bid that was within our budget and we proceeded with the work. The project started on January 10, 2012 and concluded on May 10, 2012, as promised. The first day, we had around 10/12 workers at the house and they cleared all the areas, save two spaces we were to live in, placed all the items in the patio and yard areas, and covered everything to protect them from the weather. There were always someone working in the house daily, including Sunday, and they were quite, clean and professional. Each day when they left, they would clean the interior so that you would not know that they had been there. It was like this the whole project. The kitchen was completely gutted and replaced with all new high end appliances and cabinets. The only thing I would do different, discussed with David, was to have the appliances installed by a professional service because of their expense. The other thing that I would have prepared myself for was the cost of flooring, tiles and fixtures that were above the cost of the remodel. David gave us an allowance for each of the items; however, our tastes were much above that we could buy with the allowance. You should have a good idea of what you want before you get involved in the project, we did not. David and all his personnel were great to work with and would always be available and responsive to our problems and questions. I highly recommend IND and, as I write this review, am considering having him do exterior work on the house.

The contractor David Ifegan, was very professional and made it very straight forward. It was a turn key project which included The design, blueprints and all the details. The work was completed in a timely manner. All of our family including ourselves are very happy with the end results.

The response was immediate and I got an immediate quote on the job. I decided to have them do it because I got an excellent impression and they showed me great jobs they had done in the past through photos and online videos in their website. I wanted a special feature in my countertop and they were able to do even though it is quite unusual, also they improved my project by making it more functional. I was afraid all the corners were going to be problems but they cut the granite perfect to the smallest detail. Also, as I have done this remodeling AFTER I had recently painted the wall, I was afraid they were going to mess the wall up in pulling away the splash zone tiles. On the contrary they did not even touch the syrrounding wall and there was al most no need for touch ups (which they performed). When you buy their service you don't just buy a service, you buy peace of mind and good friends! Definitely choose them!

I always wanted remodel my kitchen cause it is the center of the house , where all the family and our friends gather around,but i was sure it will cost a fortune and i cant afford it to myself.one year ago my neighbor, Lisa , remodeled her kitchen with David- the owner of IND ,and i saw it and i love it! and she recommended him so I called and we scheduled a meeting the same week , David came with beautiful samples for cabinets, and he was very nice and not pressure at me, I really liked his attitude and his ideas, we scheduled a second meeting and he came with a quote and very good price and payment plan that i could afford myself , and we started two days after!David was very nice and professional and had great ideas for the design and choose materials.my kitchen become amazing and I love it - Thanks!I highly Recommend IND Construction inc.

We've heard on David with ind Construction threw a friend that did a Job with him. What Can I say - wonderful!We remodeled the kitchen and the kitchen cabinets completely, he also painted the exterior of the house - looks great, we had also a small plumbing problem that he fixed, again there is no words -great work every thing was on time, every end of a day they cleaned the job site. He can definitely add us his referral list! Thank you so much
