Project Manager Steve Brown came over and listened to our wants and wishes and he came up with a plan and a price that we felt comfortable with. The very professional installation crew led by Saul started a few weeks later and completed the work in a timely manner despite some rain delays. Saul's crew showed up on time everyday and always cleaned up the work area prior to leaving the job site which was very much appreciated! They installed 1500 sq ft of pavers and 190 sq ft of pet turf with great attention to detail. We asked for small paver walls to be built up around our existing patio deck flush with the deck boards and they did this to absolute perfection! Thank you so much Saul and crew! Meanwhile Steve as our project manager handled all of the material delivery schedules and kept us in the communication loop at all times. Steve also came up with suggestions and solutions that helped us stay on budget. Thank you Steve! All in all it was a pleasure to work with Install-It-Direct and I highly recommend them.

We are loving our new yard from Install it Direct. Team Saul did an such a beautiful job with our new pavers, super fast friendly crew. Team Wilbur installed our turf and even came to finish up the job on a Sunday! Him and the team did such a fantastic job.They also cleaned up everything and left no trash ! By far, the best home improvement crew we have ever hired! From day one, we knew this is the company we wanted to complete the paver install in our front walkway and along our driveway. Emily was extremely knowledgeable about the process and designed a beautiful entrance for our house (which had been an eye sore for years). She even wrote a letter to our HOA to help gain their approval. Brilliant! Margarito and his crew were friendly, hard-working, and cleaned up each night before they left. They were even able to complete the install in just three days! We could not be more pleased with our experience with Install It Direct and the finished product.

It is with pleasure that I write this review about Install it Direct. This was our first time ever creating a back and front yard hardscape. We interviewed several companies and were most impressed by Dustin Schmitt. Dustin has a Bachelors in landscape architecture. By comparison, the other companies’ Senior Landscape Design Consultants have taken a few classes in landscape design. Dustin is extremely knowledgeable and takes great pride in creating a hardscape plan that is unique and perfect for you. He designed a water fountain with seating around it which allows us to dip our feet into the water. The fountain looks amazing. Dustin is also very patient which we appreciated since this was a new learning experience for us. His drawing was very detailed so we passed HOA approval without a problem. Dustin kept in touch with us and his crew throughout the whole process. The project manager, Andy, was wonderful. He and his crew were very polite, efficient and hard working. They were very detailed oriented and artistic in cutting and laying the stone and pavers. We have gotten so many compliments on our back and front yard. We were very pleased with our experience and hope your experience will be the same.

Gustavo and Gerardo arrived at the agreed time and made the necessary repairs promptly. They were professional and explained exactly what the repair would include. They added some new sand and power brushed the turf as well, They cleaned up the job site totally before leaving. We had our lawn and another property converted to turf and planter projects performed by Install-it-Direct in 2012. These projects was coordinated by Ron and the reason we called him again to do this small repair job. We would recommend Install-It-Direct for landscaping improvements.

Emily and her crew are a class act. Her ideas, professionalism, knowledge, cheerfulness, and collaborative excellence were refreshing, while making the whole experience easy, fast, and beautiful!!! Not to mention she was available for all questions, changes, and comments daily/on the spot. We really were impressed. It was a huge project and her crew was very skilled, polite, and efficient. IID removed the old driveway & replaced with pavers. Men worked very hard and were very nice. We are very happy with the final product. However we cannot give a positive review. The labor saving equipment was not used & work crews were sometimes short handed. Proper equipment, adherence to workplace health & safety and enough workers to get the job done were what drew us to this company over another with a similar price. Unfortunately they fell short, no bobcat as promised, lax use of masks, gloves & safety goggles as well as sparse work crews.

We couldn't be happier with the artificial turf we had installed by Install-It-Direct. The entire process was was a breeze and we turned our backyard "pit" into a great space for our kids to play outside. I was hesitant to install artificial turf at first but after seeing the results I couldn't be happier! James Wilson was with us every step of the way through the process. Within a week James visited us for a onsite consultation, recommended the right turf for us (we have a pet) and drew up a competitive quote onsite. He also was able to arrange the install within a couple days of signing the contract! The day of the install James and the crew showed up on time at 8am and completed the installation within 5 hours. The crew members were friendly and very professional and even cleaned our pavers after there work was completed! Hands down best paver & turf business in operation!!! I evaluated 4 businesses in total and decided on Install-It-Direct. The information of the website was extremely helpful, and unmatched reviews on Yelp & Angie’s made it a comfortable decision. Justin (project manager) came out and did the measurements within 48hours of requesting a bid and I had my estimate that same evening. The price was the most competitive for the work (very obviously). We set a date and went through everything a couple of times. What really impressed me from the beginning is when Justin called asking if they could start sooner (and potentially finish sooner). In my experience, that almost never happens. For the entire time, Justin was always available via phone or text. The results were literally stunning. Francisco & his crew are the hardest working crew I’ve ever seen. Every morning started no later than 7:30, and day end was 5:00. AND they busted it out on a Saturday. The end result was 1000sq ft of pavers & 750sqft of turf in 7 DAYS! Yes, I was blown away. Other estimates were as long as 3 weeks. Equally important, Francisco and the crew fixed anything and everything I asked. I’ve never heard “no problem” more times during a project. What’s important here is, this crew handles everything (demo, install, plumbing, etc). The other operations juggle multiple crews which result in long project timelines. I think the businesses results speak for themselves and I’ve already referred a half dozen friends to them. I would absolutely request Justin (project manager) and Francisco (crew) to take on your job.

Install it direct came in with the most competitive price. Steve, our design and sales manager is very friendly and honest. He listened to our needs and adjusted his design accordingly. Alfredo and his crew was very professional, friendly and on time. These guys went above and beyond to meet our needs and were very prompt in every aspect. The job turned out impeccable, can't recommend these guys enough.

Our overall experience with Install-It-Direct was well beyond my expectations. After getting quotes from several companies and it was immediately clear that Install-It-Direct was the obvious choice! Justin was very friendly and easy to work with. They have one style of turf that is surprisingly comfortable and the quote Justin provided was substantially (>20%) lower than quotes from other companies. With the money that we saved on the turf cost/installation we were able to put in extra bender board throughout our backyard. Additionally Justin pulled some strings to help us with our flagstone path installation! Saul?s team did a beautiful job with everything ? they truly transformed our backyard into a space that we now love to hang out in. We strongly recommend this company to anybody considering turf installation.

The shaping and quality of the work was great. Very solid and tight paver work with a beautiful finish. It took a little longer than expected but they kept at it until we were totally satisfied. Good value for the money, about the same as concrete but much better looking.

I hired Install It Direct to do my back yard driveway and patio in Carlsbad which was about 2,600 square feet. Not only were they price competitive, but the service was outstanding and the result was excellent. What impressed me the most was the positive attitude, work ethic, and skill that the installation team had. I worked closely with them and had lots of questions of the installers as well as some additional things I wanted them to do, and never did they say they could not do what I wanted, but always figured out a way to do it. If I ran in to any issues or questions my rep Shawn Higgins was always quick to return my call if I had to leave a voice mail, but he would answer most of the time and was always professional. Installation Foreman Chevo is a soft spoken, get it done kind of guy, and his team went above and beyond what they were paid to do when I was in a time crunch and asked them for help with some hard work I needed to do to clean up my side of the job which was loading some dirt and gravel and a few other things. All the workers were great, but especially Victor, Wances, and Fernando were so personable and worked so hard to make my place look good that I feel like they are my friends now, There were other great guys who worked on my job but those are the names I remember. I'm so glad I chose them and I would highly recommend this company and will use them again if I have another job.

Our backyard was a hot mess with ugly weeds and dirt. We were tired that we weren't able to enjoy the big outdoor space as much. So this year we finally decided that we need the backyard makeover. We researched multiple paving companies and finally settled on Install-It-Direct. We were not necessarily looking for the lowest cost contractor, but Install-It-Direct's pricing for the project was very competitive plus their great reviews gave us confidence. We also liked how Shawn (the Sr. Design Consultant) provided us with a very detailed estimate of the project's cost and timeline. We mostly had design ideas done by ourselves, but Shawn had some good input on how we can improve it. With his help we could even lower the cost a bit. We wantedpavers, putting greens, fire pit and a sitting wall around the fire place. The total work from beginning to end took almost 4 weeks (estimate was 3 weeks but there was small delay due to weather and some material shortage). We were very excited when it was done. We had expected longer construction delays, because that's pretty common with construction work schedules. Overall it was a great experience to work with Install-It-Direct. Shawn was very responsive and his team was also very nice to work with (Alfredo and Francisco and their crew). There were few minor things we requested the team to fix, and they completed all. Nothing out of the ordinary. We really love our new backyard (results in pictures say thousand words)! Thank you Install-It-Direct for helping us with this amazing transformation. We have already received a number of compliments from visitors, and we are happy to recommend Install-It-Direct with great confidence.

James is incredible straight forward and takes care of problems. I was in a nightmare, paid another contractor to do my landscaping to put it this way I had to let the other contractor go and James came in and removed all of his bad-bad work that had all been done wrong.James had to start the entire job over. Besides being upset with the first guy It was a unbelievable experience fantastic workmanship and a real pleasure to work with James.The bad contractor put all the pavers in wrong,with no base, didn't compact the ground so all of it had to be remove. The bad contractor took 3 1/2 weeks to do a portion of my yard James had all that done and my BBQ and fire pit with the job completed in 4 days .My wife is so happy and so am I. We seldom use our front yard, so we wanted to minimize maintenance, and also have good curb appeal. Because of the drought we wanted to cut back on water usage. After much research and bids from four companies, we chose Install-It-Direct to demo the existing shrubs and grass yard and install pavers and fake grass. It starts with their website which is full of helpful photos and articles. Brittney was our sales and design consultant. She listened to all our ideas and concerns, and drew up a sketch incorporated everything we wanted. When we said we said we were still researching and getting bids, she still sent over some samples of paver styles and colors so we could view them with our house colors and existing brick trimmed walkway and driveway. No pressure! Eventually we called Brittney back and asked her to come over to answer more questions. She addressed all the concerns that had occurred to us since our first meeting, helped us choose colors and style of paver to complement our house and existing brick as well as the type of grass to use. Brittney was also our project manager during the demo and renovation. She was onsite at our house every day to ensure the work was progressing according to plan and to answer any questions we had. She was really wonderful to work with, and it's obvious that she cares about quality and detail! Chevo and his crew installed our pavers. I can't thank them enough for the beautiful workmanship! They are an incredibly hard working group. Since we had existing driveway and winding walkway, some pavers had to be custom cut to fit into the adjoining areas. It is perfection! Next came Noe and his crew to install the fake grass. They demonstrated the same high level of expertise, craftsmanship and attention to detail as Brittney and Chevo and his crew. Both crews were helpful, courteous, and they cleaned up well each day. We are delighted with the entire process and the results are just beautiful! .

Our family loves our artificial turf!! We worked with Ron, and he was extremely helpful through out the entire process. He came to our house three times before the turf was installed because we kept changing our minds about what we wanted done. He was easy to get hold of and spent time answering my questions during multiple phone conversations. Ron was very patent with us! He provided a detailed bid (actually bids because we changed our mind so much), line itemizing all the costs. He also made a very helpful drawing of our backyard with dimensions. Ron provided lots of grass samples and paver samples. The team that installed the grass did an amazing job. It looks beautiful. They really care about doing the job right. It rained after they put down most of the material that goes under the grass, which caused it to shift a bit before they were finished. When they came back, the head person on the job (I wish I remembered his name) said that they were going to take their time and make sure it got done the way he would do it if it were in his own backyard. The job took an extra day because they took time to fix it. My mom was in town and was very curious about the process. They also took time to answer all her questions. Also my three year old daughter ended up running around in the backyard a few times while they worked, and they were very nice to her. When my husband got home from work on the last day, she said, "Look at the grass I helped make." I think she thought she was part of the crew. After they installed it, I noticed a thin line in the grass were the brown thatching was more concentrated. I told Ron about it and he contacted the manufacturer. They came and fixed it by cutting out some of the brown thatching. It looks perfect now. I think its the best looking artificial turf I have seen. It has very little shine. It also does not mat yet like other turf I've seen (we have had it for two an half months.) When we place things on the grass (i.e. a small slide for my kids) and move it, the grass fluffs back up like a carpet does. The kids love playing on it and are outside a lot more now. I highly recommend using Install It Direct for grass or pavers. We could not be happier with our experience and the results!

We had estimates from a few companies. Install it direct was competitive with others. Salesman Shawn showed up when he said he would. He went over various options on pavers and turf. I liked that there was no pressure. The estimate was available right away, not days later like some other companies. After checking out reviews and driving by a site they gave as an example we decided to go with IID. It took a couple weeks to get the job scheduled. On the planned start day the crew showed up early. The demo of the driveway and walkway were completed that first day. All debris hauled away. Prep of the site then started and a day later the pavers started to be installed. During these times Shawn showed up to make sure things were going as planned. Once the driveway pavers were complete the crew came to install the turf. They were done in about 3 hours! Sealing of the pavers was completed a few days later due to the weather. The finished product looks awesome. We are happy we went with IID. Everyone we dealt with, salesman, installation crew, and sealing team were friendly and professional. They were quick to answer any questions and didn't hesitate to make some minor adjustments to the design as work progressed.

Took bid from about 6 angies list contractors. Price wise everyone was in a range. There price was not the lowest, but towards the lower end. It was good to take a bunch of bids to get some ideas on how we wanted the project done. The paver work was awesome, better than expected. The artificial turf work was very good. The salesman/project leader Shawn did a great job with presentation, communication, and coordination. The only thing that could have been a little better was clean up. Overall I would highly recommend Install it direct and would use them again.

With the drought situation getting worse daily and the water rationing situation also worsening, I realized my front lawn was doomed (not to mention an astronomical water bill!). After much research into the artificial turf world, I made the decision to replace my front lawn grass with the non-watering type. I, like most people, wanted several estimates for the job. Install-It-Direct was ably represented by Dustin Schmitt ( not a salesman - a Senior Design Consultant with a BS in Landscape Architecture!). Dustin spent several hours (patiently) explaining every aspect of my project while incorporating my ideas for design and answering all questions fullly. The result was not really competition at all. Install-It-Direct had a reasonable price for top quality materials, a track record for professional installation and post contract support. The other 2 companies didn't measure up. Install-It-Direct also worked with me for over a month in scheduling my job (again and again!) while waiting for the EGIA (grass tear out rebate folks) go ahead to start my project and confirm eligibility for a per square foot rebate. Finally, the "tearing out of the grass" began on August 8th. Because it took so long to get 'the go ahead' to start, the install crew worked a full day on Sunday and finished the job on Monday, August 10. Amazing transformation of a dying lawn into a 'resort' caliber, manicured 'lawn'. Take a look at the pictures! My neighbors cannot believe it is artificial grass, and many people I don't know have stopped out front and introduced themselves to ask about the job. The attached photos speak for themselves and reflect the superior workmanship and professionalism of Install-It-Direct, both of their installation crews and their support and management people.
