The Plumbing Therapist

We received two quotes and liked the information that Mike reviewed with us for the installation and bringing everything up to code. He addressed more issues and all aspects of the install which the other company did not and was more concerned with bringing up to code. He arrived at the lower end of the 3 hour time window, but completed the job by the end of the day. We were very happy with the install and the new water heater.

I was so happy with The Plumbing Therapist!!! I needed to replace a garbage disposal and a faucet in a kitchen vegetable sink. I had already bought both replacements and had them ready for them when they got there. After looking at the disposal he found that he might be able to dislodge what was stuck inside instead of installing the new one to save me the cost of the replacement. After working on it he found that he could not and installed the new disposal. He then started on the faucet and found that it was still under warranty with the manufacturer. Who new after 14 years!!! He helped me contact them while he was there and got a brand new replacement sent to me for FREE!!! It is a little scary taking a chance on new service providers with the hope that they are honest, hardworking and professional and The Plumbing Therapist was all 3!!! I will definitely refer them to all of my friends and neighbors.

I'd gone online to arrange contact and had a callback within fifteen or twenty minutes, making a date and time for an appointment. The plumber arrived on time, and he was neat, very polite, and very personable. He walked around the house while I explained what I needed him to do, then he figured the price, presented and discussed it with me, then got to work with my approval. No mess, no fuss. I will definitely use them again and would absolutely recommend the services of the Plumbing Therapist. Also very good with my silly pups who found it necessary to bark....

He arrived promptly when expected, was professional and friendly. He even fixed some work a prior plumber didn't quite do correctly. Very easy to deal with. I would happily use them again.

Had a leaking pipe under the kitchen sink. They were suppose to arrive on a Thursday but they had called me to reschedule for Friday because the plumber was on an emergency job. That was no problem. I was fine with the reschedule and appreciated the honesty. The technician came first thing in the morning as they promised. Within 5 minutes, the technician knew what the problem was, showed and explained to me why the kitchen faucet needs replacing. When I asked about the cost for the visit, he told me ithat there was no charge and that it was an estimate and to call him once I get a knew faucet. Installation of a new faucet would be $95.

While no work was performed, he gave me a really clear idea about what the problems could be and what would need to be done to fix it. I could have had him put a camera down it then, but knew we weren't ready to spend $$$ to fix it if it was really bad news. Will call them back to have them put a camera down there when we are ready to re-do the bathroom

Did not hire. No answer to a call about a plumbing emergency.

Fixed the problem of not being able to completely turn off the faucet. Workman left a wrench behind and was notified.

Positives: After meeting with 3 plumbers and getting ridiculous estimates, I settled with the Plumbing Therapist. I received a fair and reasonable estimate. They were very professional and friendly to me and my tenants. But the most important thing I can say about them is that I feel I can trust them with both quality of work and pricing. That is difficult to find.

I called the Plumbing Therapist on Tuesday, we made an appointment for Thursday between 8 and 12. He showed up at my door at 8:30 a.m., Thursday, put on his shoe booties and took a look at my kitchen sink plumbing problem. He then went out to his truck, got some tools and fixed the problem. Then he explained what he did and why and left within an hour of arriving. We were very pleased. He talked to both my husband and myself regarding the work that he did. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my family/friends.

It was the first time I had used them. I was very pleased. They were very professional. He had to come back because he didn't have the right part, and didn't charge me for that extra work.

I had purchased a $35 coupon from them for a "service call" but they said the coupon couldn't be used for that, but I was eventually told that they would refund the $35. We exchanged multiple emails but I never received my $35 refund.

My husband was there when he came. He later told me that the man was very nice and did a thorough inspection of our plumbing and water heater. The plumber showed my husband how to perform the water heater flush on his own. Our system was in excellent shape for a 5 year old house. No additional work was needed.

I had been living with a slow self flushing toilet for a few weeks trying to troubleshoot the problem when I received an Angie's List Deal. I bought the offered deal for The Plumbing Therapist and they came upon my request and solved my problem immediately with no additional cost to the 'deal $'s'

In some ways a very good job - Owner was a nice guy, his work was mostly good, and his price was good and got better with my offer to buy materials and do some of the unskilled work. But when he got in a hurry (most visits), I'd have to go around after he left to tighten up connections he'd left loose and retrieve tools had left behind. The biggest problem was getting him to come back and finish the job! Even though I still held a few hundred $, it took over a MONTH of excuses and no water in the kitchen, plus a threat and a bribe to get him to come back for one hour to finish.

He came in and made his assessment of problems and concerns that we had with our plumbing. My family and I felt confident in his skill, price and friendliness that we decided to use him to complete the job and will use him again when a plumber is needed.

Brian, the owners father called when he was on the way. When he arrived he got right to work digging the 4 x 5 ft. by 5 ft deep hole.He found the leak, replaced the pvc from valve to our pipe w/brass. Leaked checked and then filled in the hole.What a professional job. Spent about 4 1/4 hrs. on job.I called two other plumbers and was quoted over $1000.00. If you want a great plumber that is honest, "The Plumbing Therapist are the ones to call.

Not much to report. He did the work requested, to clear a plugged shower drain.

The the kitchen faucet installed just 3 years ago by Lowe's. Then the faucet started leaking from everywhere and then into/under the sink. Per the Plumbing Therapist while working, Nothing wrong with the faucet but they just didn't bother to caulk it. So faucet ruined, the new one is working well. Sink area is dry. The Plumbing therapist was pleasant, clean, worked quickly and was very pleasant to my elderly parents, as it is their home. They gave them a senior discount. They answer to phone professionally and come well within the 4 hour window, as scheduled. The labor was well within estimate plus parts. I would certainly call them again. Thanks Angie!

The experience was an excellent one. The plumber was here ontime, was very polite and professional, and was able to resolve all of the issues I had. In particular, the bathroom sink which had zero water pressure was very troublesome. The plumber kept at it until he was able to resolve the problem. I can't recommend their work enough. The next time I need a plumber they will definitely be the first people I call.

The whole exprience was awesome because I had called another company (which I used regularly) and they came and gave me a bid of $500 - $2500. The $2500 was to replace the whole water heater. When Brian from TPT came he told me it could possibly be just a small part he had to order. The order came the next day and he came right back and put the new part in and it worked perfectly!! I was so happy not to pay the other company a whole lot of money for nothing. Thanks Brian

I went through a process from self fixing to calling a plumber recommended by a friend to calling this Angie's list company. Because web sites described changing a faucet as "easy", as well as the packaging containing the new faucet, I attempted to do the job myself. In the process I broke the plastic drain trying to remove it and broke the air conditioning run off drain also connected to this drainage system. I continued to work in a small difficult space until I realized a professional was needed. I called one recommended by a friend and they never came when they said they would and never called me back. I called the Plumbing Therapist and said they would come the next day. They arrived on time, and after he reviewed the situation, he went to buy the needed hardware (I had bought most of what was needed and had it on hand). He came back and repaired the broken sections and attached the new water connections and installed the faucet. He cleaned up after the work. It looks great and works fine. He told me I had done fine removing the old faucet and instructed me on how to do it if I should ever attempt it again. I thought it was all great service. This is what I would expect of any repair company and demonstrates the difference between the first company and this Angie's list one.

The service was excellent from the beginning to the end. I scheduled an appointment with them at my first call; the technician showed up as scheduled; the technician was warm, competent, and knew what he was doing. Their services also included buying the necessary parts, saved me a lot of time. Highly recommend their service.

I’m going to go with them not just because of the price which is definitely a big gap but they gave me some ideas. I liked what they are and their approach was better on how they were going go through the house in the hooking up the gas line through my stove. They offered me a bit more and are the only ones who talked about up nets. They are going to do some nets for me and I would use him again if this project comes through right.
