The Plumbing Therapist

Mike arrived on time and was very professional and friendly. I always watch when service people come over to get an idea of how these things are done and he was gracious enough to explain to me what he was doing and why. The final installation of the sink and the faucet look great. After the job, I had a couple of other plumbing, faucet, and caulking questions about the bathroom and kitchen and Mike was very nice to look at my issues and to answer my questions with thorough explanations. I should also mention that I got three quotes and the other two companies wanted $300.00 and $475.00 to install the sink in the laundry room that The Plumbing Therapist did for $225.00.

Brian who was the plumber that came over was prompt and he did a good job.

It went better than excellent. Read above/....I will ALWAYS use the Plumbing Therapist. The receptionist even called twice to give me the exact time of the plumber's arrival. Great service with a smile. They made my day!

The plumber, Michael was very neat clean and arrived within the time frame agreed on. He performed his task within an hour thereby limiting my fee. If I am in need of anymore plumbing services, I will hire him again.

The Plumbing Therapist did a nice job. They were very good to work with. The work was done quickly and I was given good advice. The price was excellent. They were very professional and responsive. I will be using them again in the future.

He arrived on time. Did what I asked for the price agreed upon. What more do you need? I tell you one thing I took his card so I do not have to contact you any more for a plumber. Maybe another trade but not a plumber, while he's around. By the way I mailed the ratings form u sent.

Mike came promptlly and replaced the faucet with a very nice matching one that he had on his truck and fixed the problem. I now works better than it ever did. Would certainly use them again, very pleased!

We didn't have any big jobs for him to do, but he showed up on time. He was nice and pleasant.

Company did not perform services

Mike arrived well within the timeframe quoted and was efficient, friendly, and extremely helpful. He will be my source for any future plumbing needs. Because no repairs were completed for this visit, Mike would not accept any payment.

Very professional. They showed up on time, had the equipment they needed, didn't make a mess. He cleared the drain in about 20 minutes and also gave me some advice on which drain cleaners work best. The only complaint I have at all is that they fixed the problem so quickly that a flat service call fee of $110 for the first hour ($95 for AL members) seemed a bit steep, but I know that's a fair price for a service call, so I can't really complain -- just wish I had prepared to have him do something else with the "leftover" 40 minutes. He was very professional -- would definitely hire them again.

Excellent. Mike and Bryan started on Thursday. We walked through the job and they spent the rest of the day cutting Sheetrock and pre-laying pipe. Friday they gave me plenty of notice before shutting off the water and kept me appraised of their progress throughout the day. 10 hours later I was back on with a new water heater in place. Saturday they came back to remove the original piping and do some additional clean up on the job. Inspection is set for Wednesday and I have no doubts. Workmanship is excellent and they met and exceeded code.

He was able to drain my hot water heater. He was very friendly and curteous. However, I do not feel I received much of an inspection from them. I had some concerns with my plumbing, and I do not remember him address some of my issues. It seemed more like walk through and friendly discussion of my home's plumbing and not so much of a thorough inspection of my plumbing, gas lines, or shut off valves. I would use them again in the future, but it would be for a specific plumbing job rather than a general inspection.

Michael responded to our home for an estimate which we found to be acceptable. We scheduled the work to be done and were given a date and time frame. Michael arrived on time. He worked quickly and efficiently and the job was completed without causing us any hardship at all. He explained his work to us and demonstrated our new system. We were very pleased with the job. If we ever need plumbing work done again, TPT will be our first call.

My hot water heater blew up on 2/27/2013. I started calling for estimates as soon as possible. Some companies were too high; some couldn't do the work immediately. I spoke with Bonnie at "The Plumbing Therapist"* on 03/01/2013.(late Friday afternoon) She was very helpful and explained that someone would call me between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM on Monday morning, 03/04/2013. In the meantime, I received another estimate from another company. Mike from "TPT"* called and came over on 03/04/2013 around 10:30 AM. He explained everything that needed to be done to bring everything up to code, and also had a solution to my piping problem. All the other companies wanted to charge me for going into my attic to lay new pipes for my water lines; because I am on a cement foundation. Mike was the only one that had a solution that was so much easier and cheaper. Even though it meant that he would be working late at night, he offered to come back that evening to do the job, so I could finally have hot water. Mike went and got all the parts, including the permit and was back at my house working around 4:30 PM. He worked non-stop until after 7:00 PM. Everything went great. Mike was so helpful. He explained everything he was doing and why. Very, very courteous and polite. Very nice to have around. I would call this company again in a heart beat.

No service was provided so I can not rate that. However,if their staff is any indication I would run away from these people! I live in a remote area though in the area described as covered. My first phone call I left a message which was returned the next day. I explained the extensive work I needed done and after several conversations with someone else in the office ( I think she was new....no big deal there) she told me they didn't cover that far out. .Fine I get that even though their ad said they did. Price you pay for living in the forest. The next day the same woman called back to say that yes, they could do my work. Cool! She said she would call back to schedule. Ok, weird, but OK. 10 days later, I have not heard a word. Frankly, I lost interest in them. It's too bad, I probably have close to $7,000 in work that someone else is currently doing.

A pool of water kept appearing in the middle of the bathroom floor. We didn't know where it was coming from. The water didn't seem linked to any use of things in the bathroom. when we couldn't ignore it any longer, we tried the Plumbing Therapist and the plumber was great. First, he actually showed up on time. He checked several things to see what might be the problem. He fixed what he thought might be the problem but promised to come back if we continued to have problems. He ended up coming back a few times but only ever charged us for the initial call. The leak is finally gone, and we always call them first if there is any problem. Plus, he was a very nice fellow.

I was told this was only for a diagnostic, not a fix up. There was a miscommunication concerning this Big Deal. I received a refund on this. I called to reschedule and they never called me back.

After return from vacation I had some water release from the vacation setting on the water heater. When I turned on the higher temperature I beginning hearing strange water noises from the water heater. I called my first bidder and was told to put a new whole house pressure devices on my water line and replace the water heater. Brian from the Plumbing Therapist was my second bidder. He had me call the water district to find out what pressure to the house was and to see if they recommended a pressure device. They did not and the pressure to the house was well within normal limits. He also saw that the water heater had been incorrectly installed with the hot and cold water lines reversed into the water heater causing the high pressure. He kept me informed, was very personable and saved me a couple of thousand dollars. Hard to not be very happy with this provider.

He replaced a faucet and I was so impressed. He installed a better one for me that would still fit within the terms and conditions of my insurance.

Our shower/tub faucet pipe adapter broke at the wall. No threads to back out - just a soldered adapter, so we had to call a professional to assist. We got an estimate from another company for $260, but were not prepared to spend that for a tub we don't use. Called the Plumbing Therapist on recommendation from Angie's List and a tech just happened to be in the area. Brian checked out the break, offered a couple of options, and made the repair in no time at all (though it took some finesse!)! Great Work! Fast Friendly Service! Thanks Plumbing Therapists!!

We were experiencing problems with our hot water heater's pressure release. Another plumber had diagnosed the problem as a need to flush the tank out, which did nothing to solve the problem. The Plumbing Therapist correctly identified the problem as a change in the city's water pressure regulation and the need for installation of a pressure head regulator. He was very personable, yet professional, and also installed a new kitchen sink faucet while he was at our home.

Service tech was very nice and helpful. Offered advice freely. The only part I am a little concerned about is that the technican indicated that my upstairs shower control, which flows with hot water and cold water in the opposite direction of the knob, could not be fixed without moving the pipes. I have checked a number of websites and they suggest that a cartridge in the shower knob can be adjusted to fix the water flow. Someday I will have another techician from another company look at it to make certain. For the time being, I will take this service technician's word for it.
