They are very nice. They are very professional and they do an excellent job. After the unit is put in originally, they set-up a series of appointments that are free for us to make sure that their product is working the way it is supposed to and that we do not have problems with it which is great because we are old. Everything turned out real good. It is Energy Star and we have noticed a difference in our bill. What they do is they call me because they come out every so many months and set-up an appointment and they are here right on-time which is perfect. I think their pricing is pretty comparable with everyone else. I did call several companies before we chose them. We have a friend who is thinking of putting in a new heater and air and we recommended they call them.

In November my heater stopped working. I called Huft and Nathan came out and got my very old system up and running. At that time he advised that I might consider getting a new one as I will continue to have problems. It then went out again (a different problem this time), and today Nathan once again got it working, all within the diagnostic fee. But he did say that it could go out again any time without some major work done on it. He called the manufacturer to see if they still carry the parts I need, which they did, and then he gave me an estimate on the repairs. I liked that he didn't' just advise me to get a new system but he also got me the pricing on repairing the old system so I could make a more educated decision. No pressure at all. I am having them come back out this Saturday to give me an estimate on a new system so I can weigh my options. In the mean time I have heat again! Their office staff are also very friendly and helpful. When I called they were able to get me onto the schedule the same day.

It went well. We did pay extra. It was as expected. The worker was very good and explained it all.

The repair was cheap, $79 and I decided to invest in a maintenance plan with them since my system is so old. There assessment of the equipment was excellent and a trust relationship was established. There are issues in my system with ducts that are badly designed and insufficient air intake is a contributing factor. A result of there review has given me the information required to consider further corrections to my system.

Well the technician got there in the allotted time frame, called 30 minutes before he came to let me know he was on his way, very promp, professional service Tech, I told him I wasn't interested in any high pressure sales for a new unit, just wanted it fixed. Byron was excellent. He understood my apprehension and assured me Hufts is not all about the sale, its the service. I was very impressed as being a first time home owner I was expecting the worse and had my game face on. But to my surprise no pressure at all, I know in the future I will need a new unit and I will definitely contact Hufts for my purchase and install, will highly recommend as they were to me. I purchased Huft's Silver Club at $119 which included two visits plus 10% off repairs. In July the air conditioner service was performed on my rooftop unit, while in November the heater was serviced. The air conditioner required a part which brought the total "Club" cost to $323.50 (and included the $119 "Club" fee) vs. the standard rate of $348,.50. In November, 2015, the heater was serviced and two ducts were replaced for a total "Club" cost of $459 vs. the standard rate of $510. Were the savings worth the cost of the "Club" fee? - you do the math. The appointment process was excellent. Technician Matt was punctual and thorough. Since I didn't go up into the attic he brought down photos of what he thought needed attention, which I really appreciated. I was impressed with Matt's professionalism, friendliness and skill during the initial service and requested him to do the subsequent service on my home. I really appreciated that he patiently provided information so that this 68-year lady could understand what was going on. Should there be any future service required I hope Matt can be available.

They were timely and completed the work in one day. That's an entire whole house fan AND 6 Dormer Vents. They managed to knock over one of the dryer roof caps on the roof and came back out to completely fix it. Accients happen, they fixed no charge and were quick and efficient about it. I called them again cause it appears the control panel wasn't level or mounted right, but they came out and completely replaced the electrical box, re-hung it, and caulked around all the plating. OVERALL: #1 Reason you should call them. They gave a great deal overall they did. The Price is right #2 Their energy estimates are CORRECT for once. Most efficiency groups promise the world and don't deliver. THese guys

I called Huft Heating and Air on a Saturday in July as our A/C unit just stopped running. The air wasn't cooling for too long before the whole thing would just shut off and the interior temperature was above 85. They were so sweet and accommodating and got us in that day and rearranged schedules so they could come see us that evening. Our tech was just plain awesome! He wore little booties each time he came in and out of the house. It turned out that after years of our lawn service people blowing bark and dirt around the A/C unit in the back yard it clogged the coils so all it took was a good spray down with the garden hose. He said the pressure was so high it was on the verge of blowing up the entire unit. So, instead of having to replace the unit like I was afraid would happen he was able to solve all of our problems with a water hose. The pressure returned to normal, the A/C actually runs so much better and keeps a constant temp inside the house even when it is over 100 degrees outside. I couldn't be more happy. We do need to replace the unit as it approaching 18 years old and I will definitely use them next spring but so thankful they got us through this summer. I would recommend them to everyone as they are customer focused, friendly, honest and affordable.

The technician came two hours earlier after phone call asking if he could. Very polite, knowledgeable and pleasant young man. Highly recommend this company. It's a family owned local company.

Our 19 year-old AC went out in a heat wave--when else! Huft sent help the following morning--at the scheduled time. We had lots of questions for the technician and were impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. What's the rated life of the AC (and furnace) we have? Can the old, noisy AC be fixed (yes). Or is it time to replace it? What are the likely utility savings of replacing, rather than repairing? What can be done about the one room that's hotter than the rest? What SMUD rebates are available? He answered all our questions and ran the numbers, providing all the facts so we could make an informed decision. Ultimately we decided to replace the HVAC system with a more appropriately sized one that's more efficient and quieter. He made the sale not by selling but by informing. The installation team arrived promptly at the scheduled time. They were friendly, efficient, and extremely careful. Everything was handled to reduce our stress and make the necessary investment in our home's infrastructure as painless as possible. Now everything is cool again. I recommend Huft without reservation.

I'm happy to say that we have a yearly club membership, so Huft comes out twice a year to tune-up the air conditioner in the summer and the furnace in the winter. We also get a discount on repairs. All of the service people have been super friendly and professional, explaining what's wrong and alternatives for fixing. Matt, who was also here in the past, did our work today. He seems to be very reliable, and he's extremely easy to communicate with! We feel very good about the Huft company.

Called them initially for second opinion - and so glad I did. I found the first company did not test system properly. Everything was explained to me thoroughly. They made sure I was aware of everything being done. They were very prompt and professional - something I haven't received from other contractors. They processed my rebate form- Received the SMUD rebate within 3weeks- I was so surprise. I have recommend Huft to friend and family. Will definitely use their service again

Simply brilliant from beginning to end. From providing estimates to explaining the work to completion and cleanup afterwards. The Huft team showed up on time at 8 am each day and removed the entire old duct system in our large ranch home, installed new energy code compliant ducting throughout and were complete as promised in 2 days. On the third day they completed testing of the system through a third party testing company. I must say Huft is the very best we have ever used for HVAC work. Everyone we interfaced with from their from their front office, the technical crew, their management was outstanding. Our house is now very comfortable, no drafts, the air clean and fresh, the A/C system now works amazingly well. Their work product is excellent and their crew ethical and top-flight. Highly recommended.

It went very very well. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. He did a really good job. He was thorough and cleaned up after himself. He always put his boots on when he came in to the house. The only complaint that I would have is, if I would have gone to Home Depot and purchased the thermostat, it probably would have cost me $60 instead of $135. We had been without air for three days already. He said, "Well, I would have put it in if you had gotten it." But, I needed the air, so I said, "Let's do it." It was so bad. Plus, I had not been well. So, I was just anxious to get it done, not matter what it cost me. But, he was good. I would probably use them again. But, this time, I'll be smart and purchase whatever it is I may need ahead of time. I still recommend them.

Huft responded to a weekend emergency call (Sunday). My air conditioner went out during a heat wave. I was amazed that they came out within a couple hours of my call. The technician, James, called an hour beforehand to assure me he would be out. When the tech came into my house he covered his shoes with plastic booties which I appreciated because I don't wear shoes in my home. The repair was done in less than an hour. He quickly determined that the capacitor was burned out. James showed me the one he was replacing, hooked it to a tester to show me the rating and then hooked it to the new one so I could see the difference. I didn't need "proof" because the air was running COLD upon replacement of the part. James noticed a new A/C filter still in the package by my door and offered to change it for me. This was an unexpected and welcome level of service because I can't reach the inflow thing on the ceiling. I can't say enough good things about the service I received, the technician was polite, professional and honest, all this at a very reasonable price! I am so glad I checked Angie's list first. Thanks Angie! LOL

It's okay. I didn't have any problems with them. They applied it towards the regular charge for what I wanted done. It didn't turn out to be kind of a deal.

Excellent. Very professional and technically superior service staff. Probably the best service experience we've ever had from an HVAC company. Great office staff too. Our cooling costs have actually been reduced and our heat works wonderfully well. We called HUFT after poor experience last year from PARK Mechanical who tried to sell us new burner units (not needed at all), a new service contract plus other unnecessary services. We told them to leave now!! We have used HUFT for over a year and strongly recommend them.

They were great. They are just the best. They did like 300 dollars worth of work. He was up there for like two or three hours and he didn't charge me any extra money for it.

They have been fine. They have been really nice to deal with and always time. The equipment never gave me any trouble at all. I have nothing but good things to say about them. The quality of work has always bee great. They are always on time, even early sometimes. They are very professional.
