very well appears some "things" not hooked up properly before or were not actually needed needs to return for further testing as it was not hot enough to perform some of the tests. said will not charge a service charge for return visit but there would be a charge of additional parts needed

It took several hours. There was so much crap in the bottom of the tank, it was hard to drain. There were very professional and courteous.

Explained what the issue was and fixed it. Gave a recommendation to replace a part based on the test result. I had them come back to replace part. My HVAC system is 16 years old so it made sense that a part needed replacement. First time any repair was done on HVAC . They were professional and did not pressure me.

They had to order a part but the job was completed in a reasonable time period.

I picked out a Lennox. He asked when I wanted it put in and I said as soon As possible. He got me a crew out the next day and they just finished installing the new unit. Every part of this went smooth and only took a total of two days. I am extremely grateful as I have asthma and can breathe in hot temperatures. Patrick and Phil came out the first day and Ryan . I would not hesitate to recommend Huft to anyone! These guys are polite and know there stuff!

Patrick came out to my house identified the issue, offered me information on what happened and and what to expect in the future. He was polite and kind. He even created a bond with my dog so much so that my dog whined for several minutes after he left. If my HVAC goes out a little too soon I'll be looking at my dog rather suspiciously. 😳

Wonderfully. Despite the very limited space under the house the work was completed in two days with great results. The duct work had not been installed correctly at the time of construction 28 years ago and was, in essence, blowing hot air under my house instead of into a couple of rooms. Also that point of disconnect allowed rodents to invade and ultimately render the duct work ineffective. Now my airflow is good and the temperature of all my rooms remains constant. I'm sure I'll see a savings on my overall heating and air conditioning bills. They priced the job approximately $3,000 to $5,000 under another major and well known competitor.

My heater stopped working. I called at about 6:30 in the evening and had an appointment at 10:30 the next morning. Nathan was our service person. He was thorough and gave a great explanation of the problem. He tuned up the heater and the problem seemed to go away. Nathan told me that if it recurred, I could go back to the original contractor to get a part replaced and installed, because my unit was still under warranty. Nathan was very honest and professional. I signed up for the Comfort Club, so that I could get my entire HVAC system tuned every year by Huft. Excellent family owned company.

The service technician (Matt) arrived promptly and was very courteous/friendly. He spent some time looking at the unit and identified a problem with the Draft Inducer / Exhaust Vent - Venter Motor. He explained the issue clearly and demonstrated where he could. Ultimately he quoted my husband $718 for the repair, saying that he'd have a difficult time finding the part because of the age of the unit. Within an hour of his departure my husband and I were able to identify the specific part and locate several sources to purchase it. The lowest price we found was through Amazon for $139.75 (from a reputable seller w/free shipping), average through other sources was about $200. Based on the instructions and tutorials available in various places online, the replacement work would take no more than 3 hours - in a worst case scenario. That puts the labor cost for this estimate in the ballpark of $175/hr. We decided to take the loss on the expense of the service call ($78) to save ourselves several hundred dollars by going with another company. I'd greatly encourage prospective customers to closely review labor costs on any of Huft's estimates.

Their serviceman named Patrick spent a lot of time explaining the nature of our winter tune-up and what to expect with our fairly old system in the years ahead, 13 years old. We could have had several items replaced, but Patrick helped us prioritize the issues so that we picked only the most essential one to fix, a capacitor.

I had a great experience with Huft Heating. Being a property manager it isn't always easy for service providers to work with us but these folks really care. They stayed with me even when I had to cancel the original call and later when I called back to schedule again. They understood my panic about getting the heat back on for our tenants because they have a disabled child in the home. The priced quoted me over the phone was reasonable and they reworked their schedule to accommodate our situation. Thanks so much! We will defiantly be using this company again. Donna

I had a new system installed by them in 2011. Since then they have done semi annual checkups. They have been great the whole way. The techs have always done a great job. They are always on time, dressed nicely, and if they do see something that is slightly off they fix it. I have called them with questions and they always friendly to answer them, I highly recommend them.

Excellent..... Nathan Smith the service tech, found that the zone damper is/was sticking. He made an adjustment and hopefully problem solved. If it persists, then we address that at the time.

Work took 2 days as predicted. When they left each day, the work area was clean. They were professional & polite. The kept me informed as the work progressed.

Recommended what we can do ourselves now and suggested we update electric and then work from there. Discussed logical route forward. Appreciate the honesty and confirmation of our suspicions.

I absolutely love these guys! My AC was working just fine but started making some funny noises. I called and they came out three days later to take a look. They took their time and discovered the motor was going out so it was a good thing I called when I did. They were able to get the part and install it the very next day as well as do a tuneup on the entire unit. Sounds great and works perfectly now. I'm so happy I called them!

Just totally got burned by these guys. Had them out for a duct work check. That guy nate was really good. He's the reason for the 2 stars. We ended booking a "home effinacy" appointment for noon today, not a window appointment but a hard appointment for 12 noon. I even asked Nate how much time should I book out for the session since I had to go back to work. Today arrives, they call me at 12:20 and say the guy is running late and will be here at about 1:45( almost 2 hours late!). Needless to say this was a huge hassle. I had a baby sitter here for my 1 year old and lost money from work. We were prepared to spend thousands on insulation, ventilation and new duck work. Hope these idiots realize the lost they just occurred. All true, make up you own mind. Many other options....

I've been doing business with Huft Heating and Air exclusively since 2012 when they repaired my inoperable system, and have always been pleased with the professionalism and efficiency of their technicians that I've had the pleasure to work with. They have all been thorough and hard working, and have solved some very elusive problems that most guys would have thrown up their hands and walked away from. (Last summer a dead bee was clogging up an obscure little drain line that normally never needs checking!) This company goes the extra mile for their customers, and I couldn't recommend them more highly.

They are excellent, totally excellent. They're extremely knowledgeable in their field. They explained everything to me so that I could understand, and they're very honest.

They were very courteous and they did a good job. They talked us through what the issue was and how they suggested fixing it.

Our outside a/c cooling unit was damaged by a freak accident.. Matt from Huft arrived on time with replacement parts. He did all the work required to get the unit back up and running... Had to replace all freon lost, which was all.... pricey stuff that R22 While here he did a complete inspection of the entire system and even replaced the filter.

Done on schecule, for the estimated cost, appeared to be done professionally.

There was no charge. He was able to reset and it was good. The gentleman was real nice. He was very patient and did a good job figuring it out.
