Description of Work: Huft replaced a capacitor in the compressor, checked system and cleaned filters. They also made recommendations for add-on's to HVAC system to improve performance and prevent problems. I've relied on Huft for over 10 years for 6-month filter cleaning and tune-ups and they've never let me down.

Description of Work: Heater tuneup. They are friendly and helpful and great at explaining everything that they test and check.

Description of Work: Our furnace died on a very cold December night. We waited for three weeks for a warranty replacement part on the old furnace and finally gave up. We called Huft. They installed a new, highly energy efficient system the next day. That night we were comfortable once more. My wife was ill at that time and having a properly sized system working efficiently was a huge help. Huft had several techs working very hard all day long to get us a system as quickly as possible. They have bee servicing the unit since then and it continues to work perfectly. I could not have selected a better HVAC vendor.

Description of Work: They performed their biannual check of our hvac system. I've been using them for many years and they always do an excellent job. I will continue to use them any time I need their services.

Description of Work: We've been using Huft since about 2012 for yearly service. Last year they installed a new HVAC. Huft is reasonably priced, professional, courteous and dependable. I definitely recommend them to anyone who's looking for great service.

Description of Work: We had used Huft for approximately 3 years to do all of our service repairs and thought we had found a trustworthy company. When a service call was being performed we were informed by their sales tech that we needed to replace our unit because the heater manifold was cracked and leaking carbon monoxide, which was deadly dangerous. We decided to get a second opinion and were told that the manifold was not cracked and the problem was that the gas feed was open to high and causing the heater flame to get larger than necessary and causing the unit to overheat and shut off. The gas regulator was adjusted and that was over 3 years ago and the unit is still operating very well!! After this experience we didn't feel comfortable using them any longer.

Description of Work: Ask to clean the coils of A/C. Not part of service and would only do the coils that faced the outside and/or 180 degrees, rather than 360 degrees the entire coil. I didn't realize a cleaning of the coil would be for only 1/2 the coil not all. This was a few years ago but I always remember that service. 2 trips to get it right. They did however, sell and install and new HVAC to a neighbors 2 story home based on their service call to mine. Go figure!

Description of Work: I have a split system and they replaced the capacitor of the outside condenser, added a start relay, and blew out the drainage line of the interior unit. Also a complete inspection.

Description of Work: They found that J R Putman technician had left the door to the unit not totally closed and the safety switch taped open. When the tape fell off in the cold, the safety switch tripped and the unit shut off. So, they closed the door, and the unit started back up. I have now asked JR Putman for a refund of the Huft service fee. | |The technician was very personable and understood the misery I had been in for 9 hours without heat.

Description of Work: defroster board burned- out and replacement had to be ordered,this took 2 days and promptly installed when it came in.Also cleaned the coils thoroughly. The unit is 20 yrs old and they got it working like new! technician was very pro and espcially polite & used shoe covers each time he entered the house even tho'I told him not necessary.Joined the maintenance program they offer.

Description of Work: Installed new A/C and furnace. Confirmed I needed all new system - still not completely convinced, but that's just me. Work went well, guys were good. They did leave 2 screws in the driveway that could have ruined tires if I didn't sweep after they left. Otherwise, just fine.

Description of Work: I called 2 days ago schedule for them to come out for an estimate to replace my HVAC system. After taking my info, the representative told me that he will check out my address and call me right back. I never heard back. I emailed the provider telling them what happened. I still didn't hear back. This says something about the integrity of their business.

Description of Work: Installed/replaced filter grill, filter pad. Checked attic air ducts. Was very good with customer service. Had problem getting the correct filters. Good overall. Would use or recommend again.

Description of Work: Replaced my water heater and upgraded to comply with new law requirements. The price was high but not as high as other quotesi got. Water heater is in basement do it required new venting and new gas lines. Inspector required changes and they came out immediately to correct items.

Description of Work: Very professional and customer-service oriented. And they don't gouge you like other HVAC companies I've dealt with.
