My A/C went out on Saturday. I called Sunday expecting to get an answering machine. My call was answered by a human. A person came out to service the equipment at my earliest coonvenience the next day. I decide a complete fix was more than I wished to spend on equipment over 20 years old, asked for a quote on new, some one came same day and the very next day I had all new equipment. All Services from start to finish were performed my polite, courteous & considerate gentlemen. They were neat & clean in work and appearance. All in all the experience was unbelievably outstanding. Customer service is phenomenal & workmanship most professional. I salute them for providing the community with a reliable service.

I have the year membership program. The company automatically contacts me to set up an appt.for maintenance. The person was on time/professional. I was concerned (due to previous experience) re:overflow on the air conditioner drain pan. He was helpful by suggesting the Shut off Switch.

We assumed we needed a whole new a/c unit, but it turned out we just needed better duct work and an extra zone. Given the fact that they could have told us anything, we were pleased that they fixed the problem for a lot less money than we expected. Now the a/c cycles off and on as it should and the upstairs is nice and cool. We would refer Huft to our friends and we'll use them again, if needed.

As far as I am concerned, as long as Brian Huft is at the helm of his company Huft Heating and A/C will be the only one who services our system! His current service is as excellent and as professional as it was when he replaced our entire system three years ago. With out a doubt I would highly recommend Huft Heating and A/C to anyone who wants a first class professional HVAC Contractor!

We purchased a deal to receive a service for our heater and A/C. We received these services in the Fall and Spring of this year. Both times, the technicians came within the time frames arranged, and seemed thorough in their service. In fact, they were friendly, and seemed to really take the time to explain what they had done, as well as explain maintenance needs and possible issues to be aware of for the future based on what they observed. We really appreciated the attention to detail. Also, setting up appointments was easy. I should say I am not sure of the fee, as we paid up front for the two services, but I believe it was around $80. Very professional, and they were not pushy about renewing or getting on a service plan (though the tech did explain their services).

They were very prompt and courteous. The part they needed, they didnt have on hand, but obtained it more promptly than I expected and installed it. My air conditioner now works great. I would definitely recommend this company.

Friday, June 1rst, was the first hot day and of course the air conditioner didn't work. I called a company out of the phone book but they couldn't get there until Mon although their add said "within 24 hours"- I didn't get a good feeling -was transferred, put on hold, etc. I decided to join Angie's list & found Huft Heating and Air. Kay answered the phone and was very friendly and professional. She said she thought she could get me in that day at about 2 pm and would call be back. She did call back and let me know that Bob would be there at two, He showed up right on time and had the part to fix the air conditioner on the truck. Since the air condition is about six years old and has never been tuned up, I asked him about maintenance. He explained the options and I did choose to use their service plan since my heater is 23 years old! The one year maintenance cost is included in the price noted above. He did not push it on me, just answered my many questions. Bob was very knowledgable and professional. I would definetely use Huft again!

Another local company charged $100 to give my parents a flat-rate quote for repairs that seemed way too high ($6,800) . Then, they wouldn't even break it down into parts and labor! I decided to use Angie's list to find a reputable company and get a second opinion. Huff sent someone out the very next day (at no charge) even though we are a long way from Elk Grove. We got a quote for repairs that was 1/3 the price ($2,200). Everything was laid out including exactly what they charged for each part. My Dad decided to buy a new unit anyway and we were given good information on different brands and warranties. Our service man was very knowledgeable and patient with explaining everything so my hard-of-hearing Dad could understand. It is such a relief to have a resource like Angie's list., especially for the elderly or disabled who are so vulnerable.

Went very well. Installers arrived on time and finished as promised. Cleaned up well. After installation there was a slight adjustment the inspector found and they returned in timely manner to correct it.

They were wonderful. The technician did a great job. I recommend them highly. He did some extra stuff for me that wasn't even required. He cleaned vents that I couldn't reach. He found a problem that he took a picture of with his cell phone so that I would understand what he was talking about. He was very trustworthy. I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me something that I didn't need like I've had with other companies.

I requested service for my AC unit because it failed to cool the air passing through it. The Huft technician confirmed that my air conditioner had lost all its coolant but otherwise operated normally. The technician explained that the freon coolant had probably leaked out over the last several years, and explained my options for recharging and or tracking the leak. We agreed to simply recharge the unit without the expensive search for the leak, but when the unit's coolant was restored, the technician almost immediately discovered the leak in the condenser coil's piping. The technician quickly agreed to repair the damage, but did not have the required specialized soldering tools on hand. He requested assistance from his home office, and Huft immediately dispatched a second truck to my home with the required equipment and the needed repairs were quickly completed, the unit was retested and adjusted, and now operates very effectively. The technician was prompt and courteous throughout, but I was most pleased that the technician did not attempt to mislead me regarding the nature of the failure in my system or to pressure me into buying expensive unneeded new parts or replacing the entire unit. This unethical practice is common in the Heating and Air Conditioning industry, and it is gratifying to be able to recommend a company who provides honest service and professional work.

The representative from Huft Heating & Air Conditioning Inc, Ryan was very professional and well informed. It was a very positive experience, however, we chose another company. Thank you Ryan!

I have a 100 year old house, and I was soliciting esimates for a retrofit central air and heat system. Ryan was punctual, thorough, polite, and wanted the business enough to follow up with a phone call and counter offer. While we ultimately opted to go with a ductless mini-split system from another company, Ryan estimate for a traditional ducted split system was the most competitive of all the estimates.

Perfect. Huft did an amazing job from start to finish. All of the staff are both professional and customer-oriented. Their work is spot on.

Kay answered my initial call to the company, and very pleasantly let me know they'd get to us as soon as possible. I called Sunday evening and the work was started and completed Tuesday morning. Clean and polite technician.

Overall I am very satisfied with the service from Huft and would definitely recommend them.

Very good experience with this company! I called on Saturday at 4pm and they were able to get me an appointment for the next day with no Sunday surcharge. The dispatcher called about an hour before the appointment time to give me an ETA and the repairer came almost exactly on time. Steve was very friendly and courteous, he replaced the capacitor in my AC unit and got it working again. He had the required parts on his truck and showed me the difference between the old broken one and the new one. Total visit took about 15 minutes, he was happy to give me the $25 Angie's List coupon. I would use this company again, I am very happy with them!

Tech was very professional and took care not to bring in dirt from outside into the house. Office personnel were also very professional and called two times to update the arrival time of the tech. Some of the best customer service I have experienced in a long time.

The technician arrived right on time and was very professional. He explained all of my options and was very thorough and fixed my heater.

Thanks to Angie's Big Deals, I found Huft Heating and Air. My heating was not working well over the holidays so the timing of the Big Deal heating "tune up" was ideal. I learned that both my heating and air conditioning were old (I have lived in my town house one year). Huft gave me info on what it would cost to fix the heater which was the more critical need. Huft did not push me to get new systems installed, but did give me options. I decided to do that and I am very glad that I did. Huft gave me a good deal and were able to install the new heater a few days later. Everyone was courteous, friendly, knowledgable, professional and very willing to answer any of my questions. Given that it took almost a day to install all three of these systems, those qualities were very important to me! I would highly recommend Huft and will continue to use them for any ongoing maintenance needs.

The tech arrived as scheduled, was very professional, friendly and knowledgable. After perfoming the winter test for my heater section of the roof mounted heat pump and ensuring everything was optimum, he did find several items he suggested we could address when he returns in the spring for the cooling check up - some pitted contact points and adding an outdoor thermostat which we can discuss further. I used an Angies Llst coupon and was very happy with the results.

The heat in our home was not working so we called Huft to fix it. The man who came was very nice. He washed a filter for us, but that didn't fix the problem. He found after looking around that a duct was collapsed and blocked air flow. The problem was fixed, and I was very happy. Great work, very punctual and I'll be using them again of course.

He took his time and showed me the issue and explained everything to me, all though I know they were busy because of the season he made sure I was satisfied before leaving for another job. Prior to this service call they did install a new A/C and Heating unit in my house. I have since moved to a newer house and will be calling them soon for an assessment of my current Heating and A/C units.
