It went very well. The problem was fixed.

The guys from Huft Heating & Air Conditioning were prompt and they were early. They did a really good job.

They did an awesome work and we saw them on Angie’s List. They were professional, honest and I was really impressed with what they did. They told us exactly what we would need, the cost and everything. Their service, quality of products and everything was impressive. I would highly recommend them. I have actually recommended them to my daughter and father and they liked them so much.

I used them on a recommendation from a friend and they were great. I used them a couple of times. I just liked that they were prompt. They would give you notice and answer the questions. I've had no problems.

The service person came in and set the thermostate so the A/C ran. Checked in evaporator and fan in the attic. Performed work on the outside unit.

We've been using Huft services for several years. Our Lennox unit is over 15 years old but still running well. However, since it will eventually need replacing I asked the service technician, Christopher, to explain our options and at what point we should consider replacing the unit. He was knowledgeable, articulate and his explanations thorough. This company seems like a well organized organization with competent employees.

They were great, everything went well. I ended up signing a contract for them to come back in the spring and do another check up.

The technician was friendly and informative, and he arrived on time which I appreciated. They have gotten a bit expensive, however.

Technician was honest about my older unit still having some life left in it, although I was set in my mind that I'd be replacing it next year. He talked me out of it, and said that it's a good unit although not as efficient as the newer units now days. I appreciated his honesty. I imagine that most other places would be upselling me into a new unit. I'll call them when it's time for another check up or to replace my system.

I found them on Angie’s List and their pricing was competitive. My experience with them was very good. They provided me with good customer service and were very responsive. The people who came out to perform the work were very knowledgeable.

They were absolutely wonderful. Their pricing was reasonable. I thought the heater was gone and it was just an adjustment that was needed to the thermostat. He didn't pressure me or anything but I decided that while he was there that he put in a new thermostat for me. He gave me a very inexpensive thermostat. They called later and checked how I like it. I am going to have him put in a central heating air this spring.

My experience was great. When I called, the owner Brian, took quite a bit of time to clearly explain the ins and outs of HVAC. He also answered my questions. I made an appointment to have Ryan, the sale rep, come out and look at my house. He arrived right on time. He was pleasant and professional. He evaluated my ancient system (didn't laugh too much), answered my questions and suggested some simple maintenance tips. The quote was clearly written and gave me several options. I may sell the house so not sure if I'm going to redo the system. If I do, I'll use Huft.

These folks very cheerily answered their phone on a Sunday afternoon... sent out a person to figure it out, who was polite and professional... ordered the part and had it installed the next day before noon. Every conversation and communication was cheery and professional. These folks are awesome!

We interviewed about seven vendors and went with the team, we felt comfortable with from a trust standpoint. Ryan was the Hufts sales contact that we dealt with and although he admitted to loving his sales job, he did not perpetuate the negative stereotypes involved with sales agents. No pressure, whatsoever at all even though they made the service call. You know, nothing along the lines that YOU should go with us. So from the getgo, even during the multiple interviews with over seven + vendors, we had Hufts as a possible winner. After working out the numbers, along with getting a feel for who would be the best vendor, we went with Hufts. I took the day off to watch the process and having seen the technical processes involved, the money you spend for a qualified vendor started to make sense. If we had gone with a cheapo contractor, which we could have done, I would have probably had to have a bunch of stuff fixed on the roof. Also, would they have installed using current standards? Doubtfully. BTW, when shopping for a vendor, ask them on how they go about checking their team's background. We felt very comfortable with the team of techs that entered our home: Adam, Kevin, Kou (congrats on your newborn), Bob Anyway, kudos to the Hufts team and a job well done.

Early Thursday morning, system was calling for heat. The system was burning, but the blowers were not engaging. I called Huft and they said Chris would be out between 11am and 2pm. He arrived at 12:45. I told him what had occurred and that I had turned the temperature down then turned the system off. He check and cleaned the filter, started by determining why the blowers were not working. Discovered the primary board was bad. He then performed a safety check and found the cracked heat exchangers. Chris then discussed with me the different options regarding repair vs. replacement. I decided on a repair. Chris called and located the parts required at a location downtown Sacramento. He drove down, picked up the parts and returned in a shorter timeframe than he projected. Once back, he immediately started the repairs. Once the system was repaired, he notified me that he would be turning the system on, but leave the top cover off. We could expect some smoke from the oils on the new parts. This allowed me to notify my alarm company to put my fire/smoke alarm on test. Once that was done, Chris adjusted the system based on our discussions and according to specs. Chris was very polite, explained things and showed me the problems with my system. He offered options and did not put any pressure on me to make a sale. Each time Chris entered the house, he put plastic booties over his shoes. That was a first and I appreciated it. Based on his performance and behavior, I have signed a service contract with Huft. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the future.

I contacted Huft for an estimate on a new HVAV and to have them also look at the present broken 15 year old unit to see if it was worthy to repair. Huft sent out a tech who did a complete check of the unit..and went further with checking to see that a part that a competitor was recommending to replace.. then verified that the part did not need to be replaced! Kudos to Huft!! Their Sales person who came out did the MOST complete estimate proposal. What put Huft ahead of the "pack" was that the REP. measured the inside house foot print to make sure the tonnage size unit was perfect for my needs. That took extra effort that no other company attempted. A complete estimate proposal was left.. very friendly, not pushy..very professional. Tho I did not ultimately decide to go with Huft...it was the because of the model of the unit I wanted that was offered by a competitor with a few more guarantees. I did explain on a followup call from Huft that I had wished that I had them give me an offer on the exact make and model.. so I would have been on the same level field to compare. Bottom line.. EXCELLENT to do business with.

I was unable to purchase the Big Deal, but the company honored the price for me which I really appreciate. The repairman that came was awesome! He had to remove a metal filter, haul it out from the basement, and clean it. He showed up a little early and offered to wait outside until I was ready, but I told him to come in. He monitored the furnace via camera and did a thorough inspection. He couldn't have been better!

Called the company for an estimate. They came out at the exact time we agreed upon. The appraiser was very efficient, professional and thorough. We agreed on a price that I thought was fair. The work was performed as promised. The work crew must have found some additional problems because two more workers arrived to aid in the repair. The additional work staff was provided at no additional cost to me and to ensure the prompt completion of the job. We were very pleased with the quality, attention to detail and professionalism of all employees. Would definitely use this company again if needed.

They arrived on time and were very efficient and friendly. Professional. Work was done quickly. Passed all inspections. They even vacuumed up stuff they hadn't created by their cleaning of the ducts. We had been using space heaters until they could fit us into their schedule. So glad they fit us in quickly. It had been pretty cold the week before they got here. Having a heater that works is very nice. Highly recommend this company. Was told later by someone who knows this business that we had saved between two and four thousand dollars. Always good to know one got his money's worth.

The entire experience was positive (see above), and we plan to remain their contract customers.

I was very pleased with how thorough the Huft technician was. He was on time, and as far as I could determine (my furnace is in the attic), he performed a complete check of my furnace and heating system. He informed me that while my furnace is not new, it appears to be in good condition and shouldn't need to be replaced for a good number of years. I was happy enough with the service provided that I pre-paid to have Huft do a similar check of my air conditioner in the Spring. And I would definitely get a bid from Huft when the time comes to replace my HVAC system ... several years from now, I hope!

Repaired A/C unit. The service tech isolated the problem immediately, replaced the part and recommended other helpful service. I appreciated his professionlism and candor. I have found my A/C repair company. Great work. Reasonable charge.

They arrives on time and completed the service in a timely manner. Offered a few suggestions and observations. I liked their work and professionalism and would definetely use them again.

Huft was supposed to do a service on our air conditioning unit prior to the summer but we were in the middle of a remodel and the contractor changed out the air conditioning unit. However, Huft did call to schedule an appointment, and they did everything they were supposed to do. I considered them to be very professional and based on the service of the heating unit, I would definitely use them in the future.
