Excellent! from first calling and speaking to the telephone staff, to the estimate, to the work ... EXCELLENT!! also the after service plan is excellent. I would definitely recommend this company. Very professional and courteous.

The sales rep was the only vendor concerned about the size of the equipment and the attic space for the equipment. He asked if he could return the next day w/an installer and then provide a quote. I said yes; the next day the owner Brian Huft reviewed the attic space, mapped out the install in detail. They offered the best quote of the 4 vendors I spoke with and I was satisfied that the install would go smoothly. And it did; 3 of the Huft installers arrived at 8AM and they were done at 4PM. They laid tarps and wore booties when in the house; they even vacuumed before they left. The sales rep was responsive and they made sure I was happy. I couldn't have asked for more.

A certain "highly ranked provider" (NOT Huft) came out to fix our A/C two weeks ago, but the guy who came out to make the repairs: 1) tried to sell us a mo. service--before he had even seen what was wrong with the AC; b) bent some of the Heating system casing; c) sold me a kit that was not really necessary (AC startup kit) but a good idea for a lot of money; d) denied that he took Angie's List coupons (they did and he did after I made a call to his office); e) did a hard sell that my Furnace was cracked and needed to be repaired and had me sign a "liability waiver release" for monoxide poisoning--adding ominously that he would "not run the heater" and it was "very dangerous to do so". Sales people came out to the house with more hard selling & gave us an estimate--& kept calling us. Not so happy with this "highly rated company now"--but HUFT, on the other hand, was great. In short, I had Huft come out for a "second opinion" on the "leaking furnace lurking Monoxide tragedy"--and boy am I glad I did. Dan was professional, courteous (did not bad-mouth the competition as the previous guy did), very thorough--the most thorough checkup ever! He really took the time to explain all aspects of the AC and heating system, did note that the heater case was bent and off (from the other guy who had been pounding and bashing on it most audibly during HIS visit) and put it back on. He did not find ANYTHING wrong at all--as in "NO LEAK"--but, he ran two more checks for Monoxide & tested with his equipment. Yet he did not stop there--when my husband and I got to talking about our old monoxide meter & how it had been discarded a few months back, he installed one right then and there. I did ask him to send "his sales people" from Huft over to get another estimate for the furnace... just in case. He finally said that while he was confident nothing was wrong, to get a third opinion and was highly professional about it. I feel confident that he was thorough--but I also liked that he recommended a third opinion on the off-chance there was something that he did not detect. I'm very impressed with how smart, thorough, honest, friendly and easy-going Dan from Huft was. This confirms my opinion that they are the best in the biz. If we do need to get a Furnace (after that 3rd opinion) it very well might be one installed by Huft.

Huft was able to come that afternoon. James was very professional and very knowledgeable. The service i bought was for two tune-ups and i asked for both the same day (heating an cooling for piece of mind). I tend to be curious about how things work so i hung out in the attic and watched him work for about an hour hour. He not only didn't mind but walked me thru all the different procedures he was doing. I liked that he wasn't trying to sell me anything. He was very thorough and i felt very comfortable having him in our home. What a great company!

They had one employee come out to complete the work in one working day. I got Huft originally from Angie's List. When I called them, they were very professional. All of their people have always been as reasonable with their estimates. You could tell they knew what they were doing. Even though they charge full board for the work it is worth it. If you need them to come back out they won't charge for the visit.

They did a great job! When our air conditioner failed I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day and they even moved me up when they had a cancellation. The technician did a very thorough investigation until he found the root of the problem. Our system is 16 years old and I was dreading to hear that there was no hope of repairing it, but it turned out to be just the fan motor. The technician (Bryer) spoke to us about purchasing a new system but there was no hard sell at all. The fan motor was in stock so Bryer was able to install the motor the next afternoon and all is well again. We also purchased their yearly maintenance plan. We are very grateful to have found Huft!

They did a great job. They saved me thousands of dollars off of a previous estimate I had. They were very responsive and easy to schedule. I called on a Saturday and they came out the following Monday. I was very impressed at how fast they could come out. The technician was very thorough and professional. He explained everything very well. I plan on using the company again in the future.

It went well. The previous service company had told us our seven year old air conditioning unit was almost ready to be replaced. I was almost afraid to call anyone for service, but I took a chance and called Huft, and was glad I did. They said it did not need to be replaced, the problem was easily fixed, they also replaced the freeon (pardon the spelling on that), and reassured me we had some more years left on our system. I was certainly glad I called. The person on the phone, the two servicemen, they were all very nice. Many thanks, I would definitely call them again.

A waste of time. Be prepared for a big sales job so they can make more commission on items sold above and beyond job.

Making appointments is quick and easy and they came out the next day after I called. Matt from Huft was on time. The office called me to let me know when he was on his way and within how many minutes he should be at my house. He was very professional and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. I would definitely be using Huft Heating & Air in the future. Great customer service all around!

Everything was installed quickly and professionally. They threw in two nest thermostats to sweeten the deal which was very nice. There ended up being a problem where a drip pan was not properly installed which caused condensation to drip down onto the ceiling drywall in our infant's bedroom. They came out and repaired the drip pan and fixed the damaged drywall. The service included two years of free maintenance which just recently ended. I felt they were honest and very willing to back their work. I will use them again when needed.

This review is well overdue, but the current hot weather prompts me to right that wrong. We first learned of Huft Heating and Air Conditioning (Huft) a couple of years ago on Angie?s List. I can?t speak for everyone, but if you agree that it?s a bit worrisome when needing to pay for repairs for one?s home, as you wonder if you can trust the company or repair person, then read on. My wife and I began using Huft to service our air conditioner more than two years ago and at that time we were terribly impressed with their professionalism and honesty and we felt we could trust them. Last year our air conditioner was not working well and we began to have Huft look into the matter. The news was not great, as we had a leak in a coil. They presented us with our options and answered our questions so well, that we felt very informed and capable of making the decision best for us. We opted to replace the unit, rather than attempt a repair what might hold for several years, but in the end wind up being money lost. We purchased a new unit and front the initial informing of options, to the sales of the unit and through the installation and subsequent maintenance of the same; they provided professional and courteous service and instilled confidence in our decision. It has been nearly a year now and we still feel the decision for the unit was the right investment to make. It?s a good feeling when you can spend $10,000 on something for your home and still feel as good about the decision a year later. We continue to use Huft for our servicing and would highly recommend them with no reservations.

I called Huft Heating and Air today to service my air conditioning unit. I spoke to Kay, who has extremely pleasant over the telephone. I told Kay I believed our evaporator fan needs servicing and I would like to make an appointment. She advised that she did not have a same day appointment, but that she would take my information down. She said they call people the night before to confirm next day appointments, and might be able to have someone come out tomorrow should someone cancel, or she might be able to squeeze me in later today. I told her that would be great, but I will have to continue searching for a company to do the job given the weather were having. I think 15 minutes at best passed when I received a call back from Kay who said she could fit me in today between 12:30 - 1:30. Unfortunately, within that time I found another company to do the work. I was kind of disappointed that I could not have Huft come out. All their reviews appeared to be great, and Kay just set the tone of what I think would have been a good job by Huft.

He was very professional explained everything. It took longer than we expected, but the unit now works and we are happy.

I knew I had a leak in my HVAC system so called Huft for estimate for leak detection. The guy I talked to did a pretty good job of talking me out of leak check due to the age of my system & the fact it was using r22. I knew he was trying to sell me a new system, but he also made a lot of sense about not pouring money into a system that would soon be obsolete. Ryan came to my house and spent an hour with me seeing what I had and offering me options for replacement. He was very nice. I cross checked his bid by getting an estimate from another highly rated Angie's list vendor, who deals primarily in American Standard systems. The Huft bid beat the competitor by about $900, but I think a large part of that was the fact that Lennox had some rebates going on. Also the competitor offered a 10/10 parts & labor warranty and a wifi thermostat with their bid. I asked Ryan to include those two items, which he did at no cost, so I went with Huft. The installers were professional young guys and they did the job in a day. They showed up bright eyed and bushy tailed in the AM, but looked kind of tired after a long day in the attic. So far the system works great... no complaints.

It went well. I didn’t see the work, but the price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality. No issues with the unit since then.

Tech showed-up on-time. Explained what he was going to do and showed me what was needed and why. Great experience from stary to finish.

Kay dispatched a repairman to my house that morning and he immediately pulled out a chunk of wood that had fallen from the roof into the heat vent. The technician Nils, spoke with the roofing contractor (who reimbursed me for the service call) and Nils urged me to get another carbon monoxide detector installed by the heater particularly since there was work being done on the roof. He also instructed the roof workers to check the heater again at the end of the day so it would not happen again.

When I got the final bill it was less because they were able to obtain the part. They were great.

Moving back into your house only to discover that your heater has failed is a nightmare. That is what just happened to us, and on a week where the average temp at night was 26 degrees. Huft was the best price, least pressure, and the service was very good. I would highly recommend this vendor.
