Description of Work: From the first call to the completion of the service Huft exceeded my expectations. I needed to have my AC unit moved to the side of my home. They are very responsive and friendly. The job ended up being more complex than was anticipated but they completed the job and suck to the original quote.

Description of Work: We purchased a discount coupon for two HVAC inspections. Inspections were performed on two different days in order to accommodate our schedule and Huft agreed to this even though both systems were on the same property. In both inspections, they checked all components of our systems and gave us both verbal and written results of their testing. They also gave us estimates of repair and replacement costs for different alternatives and explain the pros and cons of each. The advice was thorough and understandable. We really appreciated their professionalism and the quality of their work. Having the audits done without contracting for repair work with the same firm, we think, gave us more accurate feedback on the status of each component in each system.

Description of Work: Heating unit quit working. Called Huft and a tech was at the house in less than 2 hours---on a Sunday !! Awesome !!! Problem was diagnosed as a faulty ignition module. Since we have an older heating/air conditioning unit the piece had to be ordered. They had the piece the next day and had it installed before noon. The techs were always prompt and punctual and conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism. And the price was substantially lower than we anticipated it would be. Again, awesome !!!! I would not hesitate for a minute to use this company again and I would definitely give them a glowing recommendation to any of my friends and acquaintences who might need their services. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, they rate a 12.

Description of Work: Very please with the entire Huft staff. Everyone was pleasant and did not try and push me into buying the system. They came out and gave me a very competitive price for the system I wanted. After meeting with several other companies I decided to go with Huft and I am very pleased with the work and continued help with the system.

Description of Work: I have used this company from an Angie's List recommendation. They come to my home to service the heater and air conditioner annually. This is my second time and the operations person is excellent./ The service man spent all of 15 minutes at the house and left the water running from my hose...thank goodness it was stopped by the nozzel. The person coming to review the heating system in the fall seems better than the one in the spring. But I am satisfied.

Description of Work: Huft showed up within 24 hours after our AC unit failed in 100+ degree heat (i.e., a very busy time for any reputable HVAC service company). The service tech Bob arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the damaged part right away, while working on a very hot roof. AC fully operational again within 24 hours.

Description of Work: My unit was freezing up and I was not getting any cool air. Steve came out and explained everything which made a lot of sense to me. He gave me a list of reasons and started out checking them all. He found out that I was low on freon and refilled it and it works great. He explained that I may have a leak but may be very small since it took about 4 years to get that low.

Description of Work: Excellent!! There was some confusion regarding when the appointment was scheduled for, however it was hot and when they did make it (same day) they diagnosed the problem. It was an easy fix but it was going to cost $300. The A/C unit is only three years old so the part should have been covered. I called the company that installed the unit and they could not come out for four days...I went with Huft and I now will turn to them with all of my heating and A/C needs! They really care about customer service and gave me a discount since my previous a/c guy was willing to do the work for less (even though I would have to wait four days). I definitley recommend them!! I even went up on the roof and the installer explained the a/c unit to me and showed me the part that would be replaced. THANKS!!!

Description of Work: Lenny from Huft Heating came out on a Saturday, after I called them at the last minute on Friday. Very professional staff and Lenny did a great job checking out my furnace and explaining everything so I understood it. As a single woman, this was very helpful. He recommended replacing my thermostat, which fixed the problem. Another company had come out previously and told me I needed a new system! He also did an estimate on a new system, and the price was very competitive. I would recommend anyone to Huft Heating!!

Just completed the Fall heater service and was pleased at the detail of their inspection and test; far more complete than former service provider.
