Description of Work: Another company bid the job more affordable for me

Description of Work: Refinished old kitchen sink after removing old paint. Was extremely considerate of my difficulty with noxious fumes and used a fan to take them out thru the kitchen window.

Description of Work: I called Martes Refinishing and spoke with Doug. He provided an estimate over the phone and we made an appointment for him to come out the following week. I did not meet him the first time, my husband did, but he was on time and very knowledgable. He did the work and left, but my husband and I noticed some runs in the tub after he left. I called him back and he did not hesitate to tell me that he would come back and take care of any touch up that was needed. He even offered to not cash our check until he finished, which I thought was the mark of a true professional. Of course we told him to cash the check because we could not have him return for at least a month because we were having construction done. He returned 12-14 and did all the touch up work required. He was personable, professional and timely. I could not comment on price because I have no idea what a decent price is for this type of work, but I am sure it was reasonable.

Description of Work: Doug Martes refinished a bathtub that was 20 years old and made it look new again. Really beautiful. He was absolutely professional from beginning to end and helped us figure out some problems in replacing the jets. He was patient, generous and reasonably price. Overall a real pleasure. Thanks to Angie's for helping me find him.
