Description of Work: Carrie was so helpful with selecting interior paint colors for my entire house. The house looks great. She also gave us some ideas about how we can update the look of the old fireplace, and other helpful suggestions on furniture arrangement. We purchase this service from the Angie's big deal. We wouldn't mind purchasing her service with regular price.

Description of Work: Carrie was a pleasure to work with! She gave me so many great suggestions for updating my entire home. Carrie took the time to evaluate each room I was concerned with and provided solutions, or options. She redesigned our family room to improve the space and functionality and we couldn't be happier. She has experience, a good eye for detail, and a gentle, yet direct approach.

Description of Work: Carrie Yoshita is excellent -- very practical and down-to-earth. We worked together to move furniture around and she made great recommendations that worked well and were fairly inexpensive. I loved her sense of color and organization and her willingness to roll up her sleeves and actually hang photos! Have recommended her to several of my friends already.

Description of Work: Carrie is wonderful and so kind! She took the time to understand what I was hoping to accomplish and looked for ways to keep costs down even before I thought to suggest it. Even though my project is our living room, she helped me make plans to find some color themes and ideas for connecting all our spaces, including the foyer, hallway, dining room and family room. I learned a ton from her in a short period of time and will definitely hire her again as we move forward!

Description of Work: Carrie Yoshida of Visual Harmony came to our home to help select exterior paint colors. In advance she asked me to send her a few photos of the house and thoughts on colors we like, plus any constraints on the colors (in our case we have some landscape rock walls and travertine that the colors must complement). When she arrived she had several color combinations already in hand, which aided our discussion. It took 2 hours, as she had predicted, to narrow it down to a final set of colors. These colors were much more interesting than the conservative colors I had selected on my own. Color selection is difficult, and it is worth it to get expert help. Carrie has an excellent eye for color, and lots of experience, professionalism and patience.

Description of Work: She consulted with us on how to chose coloring and making changes to our arrangement of furniture and what we should be thinking about when picking out artwork and focal points in a room.

Description of Work: We bought an Angie's list special and it went well. Helped us in the early stages of a remodel and provided very useful input and advice. We will be continuing the relationship to help furnish, paint, curtain etc. the remodeled space.

Description of Work: We have been working with Carrie Yoshida at Visual Harmony since Fall 2013 and we are delighted with her design services. She is helping us design and remodel our kitchen and once complete we plan to have her help us pick out furniture, rugs, paint, window treatments for the rest of our home.
