Carrie Yoshida worked with us to remodel our master bathroom. We were so pleased with Carrie's guidance and recommendations. It meant so much to us to be in good hands since we have never done a remodel before. We felt so comfortable working with her. Carrie was very patient, caring and helpful. She listened to our needs in making wonderful suggestions to help us choose the right tile, counter top, shower, sinks, bathroom fixtures, lights, closet doors, etc. She is very professional and organized. Carrie also recommended a wonderful contractor, Tony Callanta. We were so pleased with the work he did for us using Carrie's recommendations and are very happy with our bathroom. When we are ready to remodel the other two bathrooms or any other room, we would definitely use Carrie and Tony again.

I needed new shades for two windows which face my neighbor's place because several trees were recently cut down exposing that side of our house. Carrie spent a lot of time helping me decide which kind of shade would blend in with other shades already in the house and in the end, they turned out beautiful! I would highly recommend Carrie for her ability to blend the customer's tastes to already existing decorator touches. Her taste is impeccable. The installer was on time and did an excellent job. He even managed to help with reprogramming electronic roller shades I have in my kitchen. Now that's service!!

Carrie Yoshida and I have worked together on several projects. She is a generous designer who really has the clients best interest in mind. As a flooring vendor of hers I have had the privilege of watching her work close with her clients through simple or complex projects. I appreciate how much she cares about the finished product making her clients happy. Would definitely recommend her!

I didn't give an A because she seemed more focused on other things than my priorities so I did get some good ideas for other touches but didn't feel confident about the main reasons I hired her. For the price I paid I was satisfied though.

Carrie had lots of good ideas for us, including bedding options and framing our bathroom mirrors.

They did very well. It was fine. One person came and work for about 3-1/2 hours. They were very patient and very accommodating. Very professional. They listened very well and were open to feedback. They were fine. I'd give them an A.

It was too early, i had not moved in yet. I should have waited till I had moved all my existing furniture into the new house before contracting. I can see the advice could have been good, but not strictly helpful at the time. I did not really understand what an interior decorator does, but i do now, so that was useful. I might hire them again when/if I need specific advice on window coverings, art selection, or painting colors.

Carrie confirmed that some of my ideas would work and gave me great suggestions and ideas for each room. She arrived on time and stayed beyond the two hours to finish our conversation. She was easy to work with and I would definitely hire her again and recommend her to others.

Carrie is delightful, warm, professional and fun. I was hesitant to hire an interior designer because I thought it would be too expensive and I'd end up with a room he/she liked and I didn't. I was also afraid it would take too long. But with Carrie, it wasn't expensive, she helped us discover and determine our tastes, and it all happened more quickly than I expected. She started by helping us choose themes, colors and the "feel" of the rooms we wanted. With her help we picked out furniture, rugs, lamps, artwork, and decor that all came together beautifully! My husband and I are so completely thrilled with the rooms now. She was always looking out for us regarding the cost of everything. How refreshing!! She even went to bat for us on a problem; without her we would have gotten no where. I cannot imagine doing this without Carrie: It would have taken so much longer, I wouldn't have known how to choose furniture, pillows, artwork, colors, decor, etc. that all come together, and our rooms would not have the "Wow!" factor they have now. We had such a positive experience with her that I suggest her name to our friends who are looking for any help at all with their homes. Comments from my husband: "Carrie is "top notch." She is extremely 'relate-able' and has a very sweet personality. She is reliable, has great taste, is very easy to work with, and responded quickly to every single question we ever had. And I'm very pleased with the results!"

I honestly don't remember how much we paid, or know how much comparable services cost, but we were/are very busy, and having her come to us (plus all her partners & subcontractors) was invaluable. It saved us so much time trying to figure out who to use for which services, and driving all around to find something we like. The time savings, for us anyway, was worth the money to use her services. I'd recommend her for sure. Good work, Carrie! I'm sure you'll hear from us again

Carrie was just who I needed to help me in my new house! We first spoke by phone so she could understand my needs and then reviewed photos of my rooms so she bring her ideas when she arrived. She worked with the furniture, artwork and decor that I already had so I didn't have to go out and spent a lot of money, and she was instrumental in helping me identify the perfect paint colors to complement each room. I had spent countless hours on my own trying various paint colors and had given up, but Carrie made it so easy! I am excited to apply her spot-on suggestions and transform my house. Definitely worth it!

Carrie gave input on some design issues we weren't sure about, which we expected. What was more unexpected was her (quick, efficient) link to quality suppliers for materials. We ended up picking more expensive stuff than we otherwise would have, but she listened to what was important to us, and saved us the time shopping around, which as a busy family, is very valuable to us. We ended up paying a premium price (most of which went to the suppliers, of course), but got high quality stuff and service. I'd recommend Carrie, and use her again. Thanks Carrie!

Carrie was professional and resourceful. She helped me and made me part of the rearranging experience. She always asked about what worked for me and what did not. Also, she looked around my house to look for my style and asked me several questions about what I was looking for by having her in my house. She pointed out themes and patterns that I was already having around my house and ex[anded on them. She made me feel confident and taught me a lot about the designing [rpcess. Plus, you got to ;over a woman that carries her own tool box and is not afraid to get down and dirty!

After a decade of trying to furnish an awkward living and dining room we contacted Carrie. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. Carrie was an absolute delight to work with - she really listened and quickly understood what we wanted. She worked wonders using pieces we already owned and suggested purchasing just a few additional ones. We would hire Carrie again without hesitation.

Carrie helped with making changes to our home for resale. I threw a lot at her at once, with wanting some help with EVERY room. I thought she would be overwhelmed, but she offered some great suggestions for changes to several rooms. Carrie was also very conscious of our budget, which I really appreciated.

She did spent a fair amount of time discussing options but in the end she just sort of agreed with ideas we already had and didn't present any new/interesting options for us. We felt like we spent $149 for someone to tell us our ideas were good.

I was very satisfied with her service, but I didn't realize she was an interior REdesigner, instead of an interior designer. She was very helpful, and continues to be.

I really liked all of her ideas and will call her when I am ready to select flooring and to plan our kitchen remodel.

Carrie had numerous ideas and constructive suggestions. I have not yet had an opportunity to implement them all.

My get-acquainted phone conversation with Carrie was so much fun. She inquired as to what I wanted done (rearranging furniture, spotlighting key collectibles, getting design tips) for my recently remodeled living room. She shared what she does and asked for a photo preview of my living space as to get a sense of what my style/tastes is like. When I got off the phone, I could not wait for her to arrive so we could get started! The big day arrived. Carrie was coming! She was prompt, courteous, and professional. She had her toolbox and was ready to work! We viewed the available furniture around the house that potentially could be moved to the living room, discussed the furniture placement in the back bedrooms and figured out the focal points in the room so that we can highlight them. After discussing several furniture placement options, we got to work! She and I moved a fully decorated Christmas tree and not a single ornament was broken; moved rugs around; unloaded lots of books and the collectibles over to a nearby counter with no damages; then started shifting furniture around. She had the tools that we needed - sliders to not harm the floor, picture hangers/hammer/level to stage the walls. We had so much fun talking as we worked together! It was supposed to be a two-hour session (Angie's Deal) but ended up being four hours. My, how time flies when you are having fun! After she left, every time I walked into the living room, I smiled as it was so beautiful! The living room initially was lopsided in furniture and felt "heavy". What I ended up was something light, airy and totally "me" as we were displaying my favorite pieces! I'm totally satisfied with Carrie's ideas, advice and practical solutions. She has an eye for color and items (furniture, pictures and collectibles) placement. She has experience, is professional and included me in every decision to make sure I was comfortable. Would I use her again? Absolutely!

She was excellent and took so much time with me. She gave me many good ideas about improving my home and they were real practical. She took her time and I really felt my money was well spent. She was knowledgeable.

Carrie Yoshida arrived on time and jumped right in. I thought her opinions and assessments were very helpful and right in my spending bracket. She gave several alternatives (six possible paint colors for bedroom) that I could choose from, suggested different placements for art work and some furniture, some very specific suggestions, such as faucet metals and cabinet tops, heights for accent patterns in shower tile. We discussed themes in two rooms that I found very helpful, she also suggested stores that I could look at. Then, Carrie completed the session by helping me create a list of where to start, priorities for each room, and the sequence of making decisions and buying materials. In all, she was very helpful. Carrie gave me direction and I don't feel that I'm going to get lost when starting this process. I highly recommend her.

This project required out of the box thinking that Carrie was very happy to take on. The finished project was amazing, the service was fantastic and the final product exceeded expectations. Additionally, services were affordable as well. Although creating the color boards was not normal practice, work was completed in a timely manner and was well worth the wait.Carrie was also very responsive to the details which really made this project successful. I would certainly bring Visual Harmony onto future projects that need design consultations.
