Chuck was great to work with. He was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. He was very respectful of our home and cleaned up everything as he went along.

I think their lowest price bid was $15,000, their highest priced bid was $22,000 in change. The lowest one is just your basic gas furnace with an aircon heat exchanger on it. I vaguely remember all the technical specs, but they’re not really relevant to most people. They did not pass the smith test for code. The Mauzy salesguy did not know anything about the code and said things that I was pretty sure were not to code. I would not recommend work from Mauzy. To put it mildly, Mauzy didn’t have their sh*t together. When your sales guy starts talking about strip clubs in China, that has gone a little too far. I have been through a lot of stuff, there is a line. If we have been in business for a couple of years or like if I have gotten drunk with you then we can cross that line. When we get to that point the open mindedness does not mean I'm stupid. He really tried the hard sell thing on my girlfriend, who was the one who was actually going to sign the actual paperwork and she just looked at the guy like “no”, “no!” She had 100 and something unit apartment under her control at one point when she was doing property management stuff. She’s like, “this price is full of crap, no!” So, anyway, she rejected them. They tried to do a second sells call, but got really aggressive and pushy on the sells. It completely turned her off. They’re professional. The sales guy was a piece of work and not in a good way. I’ve seen their roofing jobs, their roofing job looked okay. Somebody across the street used them for a roof. Their roofing work from what little of it that I saw passed the basic. I watched tv, This Old House smith test, but have not looked under that roof for rai storm. I don’t know if it performs well on not. The guys that do the work seemed like they were more less legit. So, I have no opinion on the actual work. The sales guy and the sales process that they had was just like the sort of fake European. Like that guy that is copying that Italian pushy sells guy, stereotype shady used car dealership like experience. You leave the experience wanting to take a really long shower in boiling bleach. I don’t even have an opinion on these things other than the sells process was such a turn off, that everything else that matter, it was just a “no”. The sells process was so far pass an “F”. It’s like when you owe the government $100,000 bucks and you forget to write the check when you send your tax return in. A level of just bad! I wanted to say that without getting vulgar. Professionalism was the lowest possible grade. Punctuality was don’t care, so it was probably fine. The overall grade, the only way to get their attention is to give them something like a “D”. The final dimension is substantially irrelevant to me. Like I said the professionalism was just not there. The abilities to adapt, the responsiveness to the point, they were whatever, didn’t matter to me. We made the appointment through another company website, the other company had assigned him to us, so there is probably something that tripped there. Like I said, the sells process turned me off so much that everything else is almost non-applicable. They were on time. Not just no, I would not use them again, but Fu*k no!

It went very well. The sales process was very transparent and clear. Job was quoted on a Friday and the installation was done the following Monday. They delivered and installed exactly what was contracted. The installers were knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The whole job was completed in one day. I am very pleased.

They came out and gave us a great presentation. We were hooked. They messed up but they rectified the issue. They were excellent. They realized that they made a mistake and they honored everything. They were great. I would most definitely use them in the future.

It took a lot of hours, but they did a great job. It was also quite expensive, but they did our heating system when they put it in. They are very good. I would recommend them. The cost was about $800 to clean everything like the ducts and a piece of equipment under the house. It was very time consuming. They are terrific. It was more than what we thought it would be. The guy was here all day long maybe he was by himself the whole time, but he is the only guy we know who can do this to make the smell go away. They are very responsive.

I contracted with Mauzy for an entirely new Heating & Air Conditioning system and duct work. Mauzy's estimator, Joel, actually listened to me and gave me what I needed. No upbidding or hard sale, just fair pricing - I didn't experience this professionalism with the other 2 contractors I received bids from. The installers, Brian and Omar, were professional, nice, very well-mannered and VERY hard-working. They were there for 2 days and worked from 8am to 6-7pm non-stop (except lunch & a break). Brian is very experienced and focused, leaving no details undone. They were constantly careful of my pets making sure doors/gates were closed or asking me if the time was good to keep one open. The system is now in, working great, and I couldn't be happier with the entire process.

The crew was timely, professional, clean and fast. They worked until the job was done, and were able to finish in one day, despite needing to stay late. They were the middle estimate of the 3 estimates that we got, but with a crew and respect for keeping our home clean, they seemed the most skilled and prepared to do the job in a timely manner. Later, the upstairs air conditioning stopped working and we needed to call them back. The system was precariously put together and was probably knocked off by a person adding insulation to our attic. They came out and figured out the problem, but when I complained to the company that the system was not stable, they refunded half my money. ($69.50) for the repair. Later, in October, the upstairs thermostat did not work, and they returned to fix it at no cost. All in all, we had an old system and they worked hard to do an excellent job. They were responsive to fix problems that occurred later.

The entire process was very easy. There was no pressure from Mauzy but they were extremely informative and helpful. Once I made the decision to go with Mauzy they moved very quickly. The office staff were very professional. The team that installed the system ( Josh, Josh and Derrick) were hard working, knowledgeable and very respectful. The system looks good and my property was left in great condition. I would definitely recommend Mauzy to those interested in a home solar system.

It is my opinion that this guy wanted to sell me a system and not fix my issues. I would have ended up spending 15k and having the exact same problem.

Although the service was delayed due to their internal issues, it was performed in a very professional and competent manner. We are pleased and will be using them for heating and A/C needs.

The job went great. The Mauzy folks were professional, considerate, on time and did a really nice install on all the systems. The systems are all operating well with no initial start up problems. The work was done on time and on budget. They hauled off all the old equipment and left the house neat and clean. I highly recommend them.

I had Mauzy come out for an Estimate. The gentleman that came out to give and estimate for the A/C replacement was curtious and professional. Unfortunately, the price for the replacement was too high for me. I had another A/C company do the work.

The sales rep did an excellent job explaining the products and made several suggestion to maximize HVAC efficiency in the new install. He never tried to oversell anything and steered me away from unnecessary additions. The removal of the old systems and installation of the new systems went extremely well and was finished on time. The crew was courteous and cheerfully answered all my questions. The work site was kept clean and there wasn't as much as a nick in the drywall throughout the project. Three issues occurred following project completion. Two of these issues were resolved within a few days. A third issue involved a complicated but minor heat zoning issue that took several months to isolate and repair. Mauzy never gave up and along with Lenox resolved the issue to my satisfaction.

It went fine. Scheduling was pretty easy. The technician was very personable and knowledgeable in his field.

Scheduling was easy with them and communication was good. The estimate was overly high and was for a high-end installation even we though we let them know we wanted more of a middle of the road estimate. The owner came out and tried to explain why the higher end installation was needed.

They were outstanding, accommodated an appointment adjustment and provided three different options in three different price ranges. The estimates were provided within 24 hours.

The work was good but on the expensive side. I wished I had received a few estimates on a few different units. I would really suggest anyone considering using any heating and AC provider do their research first. The AC unit is a bit noisy. If there is an issue this company will respond.

They did a very good job. Mr. Mauzy himself gave estimates and he was very friendly. I also liked the foreman and his team as well and have even recommended them to my neighbors.

The estimate was good but it was the highest one we received.
