Description of Work: Had a broken and outdated heating system and contracted Mauzy to install a new furnace and ducting setup in my house. Was initially recommended Mauzy from a co-worker and out of 3 bids Mauzy came out the best with another bid from a competitor for the same exact Lennox furnace asking for almost double. Josh and Luis did a great job on the install and I'm very happy with the results. I would recommend them to others needing hvac work in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: They came out to provide an estimate for replacing a wall-mounted air conditioner. They came out and said they would provide an estimate and never did. Their punctuality was OK.

Description of Work: Mauzy heating performed an inspection, cleaning, and routine maintenance to my entire heating system. I was not expecting an inspection of the air conditioning; however this was performed as well. I have used Mauzy to install a furnace at one of my other properties. I compared their prices and warranties to other heating companies, and their past performance, warranty, and price was by far the best. They have also performed routine maintenance/inspection of the system they installed at the home, also with exceptional service. The serviceman (at each visit) have been punctual and professional during each visit.

They found out that one of our vents had never been connected and fixed that as well. They are honest and concientious and I highly recommend this company. They have been in business forever.

Description of Work: Mauzy Heating, Air & Solar installed a new Amana 5 ton 13 seer condenser, Allstyle coil, new disconnect and extended flex where needed. They removed all old duct work and re-configured duct layout and cut in two new returns, 20 x 20 frags with 14" ducts running to them. | The work went as scheduled. They were friendly and helpful in explaining the problems we had, what needed to be done and how they would do it. We would hire them again. | The company we hired 10 years earlier to replace our air conditioner did a poor job and could not be found months later when we had problems cooling the whole house. Mauzy fixed that and our entire house is cool when the air is on. It was a good investment and a great company to work with.

Description of Work: We met with about 4 or 5 HVAC companies to get quotes for Air Conditioning, replacement of duct work, and a new furnace. Mauzy's quote was a little above the middle, but not the most expensive by far. They spent a lot of time explaining everything to us. We actually ended up getting the quote a year before we had the work completed. Once we were ready, we called them first thing. The install went great and boy do we use that AC! We were referred to Mauzy by a friend who had used them for installation of AC and Furnace. We had them back out in January to do a tune-up. Still happy customers.

Description of Work: They found a faulty wire. They said they could rewire it or I could do it myself, and recommended how. Only charged me for the service call.

Description of Work: I have called twice and both times I get the answering machine. The first time I called, last Friday, I left a message, and I got no call back. It is now 11:00 on Monday, no call; So, I called again today. Again, the answering machine. I can take a hint. I guess I was expecting more of a personal touch from a family run company that's been around 40 yrs.
