Martin Electric

I emailed Bill @ Martin Electric for a ballpark price to install three ceiling fans. He responed that same eveing. I waited a couple weeks before getting back to him to schedule. When I did, he replied right away and we set up a date/time for the following Monday. He arrived on time and was very knowledgeable, effecient and professional. He even ran a new 3-button wall switch to match the other switches in our house. The fans look and work great! I would definitely use him again and refer him to anyone looking for an electrician.

He was great knew exactly what to do and was cautious and explain what he aould do and did it.

We had to wait a bit past our appointment time because he was very busy during the christmas season. but I would definitley use him again.

As part of a bathroom remodel, I wanted to add an outlet, and also install a pocket door into a wall where there were light switches. I picked Bill Martin based on his AngiesList profile, and called him up. We agreed on a date -- he came out and quoted a price and time estimate, and did the work on the spot -- maybe a half-hour longer than he had estimated. A week later (as my full bathroom remodel progressed), I asked him to come back and answer a question -- he did so the next day, at no additional charge. Nice guy, honest pricing, and he knows what he's doing.

Both times I've had Bill work on my place, it's gone flawlessly. In both cases, he had to get creative to achieve my goals and succeeded beyond expectation.

We had a problem with lights not coming on then coming on too bright. One switch was turning on lights it wasn't supposed to. I called Bill at 9pm friday night and he came out on 9 am saturday morning. He had no trouble discovering the problem and fixed it quickly. He was great and was even nice to the dogs!. I would highly recommend him and am please to have a new electrician!

Fantastic work overall. Martin responded quickly to my original call, the quote was issued quickly and clearly, and multiple options were explained. He also arrived promptly on the work day and time with all items necessary to do the work. My only complaint was that it took a couple weeks for the bill to be charged to my credit card. Regardless, this is an incredibly minor inconvenience and it will not dissuade me from using him again in the future.

We were very pleased with the professionalism and quality workmanship provided by Bill Martin. He provided an accurate quote after surveying the scope of the work at the first appointment. He completed the work over two separate days and the finished product is exacty what we needed and desired. He was very courteous. I would definitely call him for future work.

After getting several quotes from other companies to upgrade our lighting, we called Bill Martin from Martin's Electrical for an estimate. He was extremely professional and knowledgable. He explained the process, helped plan the number of lights needed along with most effective placement, and gave us a very reasonable price. The day of the job, he came with all the supplies that were needed where other companies we talked to were requiring for us to buy the supplies on our own. Bill arrived on time and completed the job in about four hours. He also arranged for a handyman to come the following day to repair several small holes in the ceiling. We were very impressed with his service and highly recommend this company.

Punctual, professional and very informative on code issues

Excellent work was done. Bill Martin also arranged for drywall people to work behind him. This made it very easy for me, so all the work was done seamlessly.

Delighted I made a call to Martin Electric to rectify our exterior electrical problems. Bill responded immediately, scheduled an appointment the same day. Bill is professional and very knowledgeable. He pointed out several issues he had with our existing porch lighting and provided an explanation of how those issues could be corrected to insure we had proper, save and longlasting porch lighting. We will be calling him back to complete the porch lighting.

An excellent experience. This is the third job, and all have been first rate. In two instances I've asked him to come back and make adjustments to the work. Martin Electric was wonderful. They came out promptly for an estimate. The work was scheduled and started on time. I added some items to the list at the last minute and they had no problem staying and finishing the job. When my husband accidently cut some wires putting in wall speakers they returned his call on a Sunday and came out and fixed the damage on Monday at no charge since they also had to replace a bad splitter for the cable tv.

Bill was always communicative, professional, and timely. He performed the work thoroughly and per plans. He was responsive to inspectors and requests for additional work. His cost estimate was in the middle range of the other estimates we got. I plan to hire him again for another bathroom remodel and would definitely recommend him to others.

I interviewed five electricians and I had one that I had to get rid of. He was like an electrician I had a long time ago. He was very smart about what I needed to do. He didn't trouble me about trivial things. He was not an alarmist and very steady. He did the work in a timely fashion and used as many workmen as needed to get the job done. I will definitely use him again.

Bill came to use highly recommended by our designer/project manager who had worked with him on many previous occassions. Bill provided comprehensive up front estimates, and then a number of subsequent estimates as we worked through exactly what we wanted and could afford. His folks were punctual, and followed the project managers very tight schedule for the remodel. Martin Electric provided multiple electricians when needed to complete mulitple tasks when the schedule was especially tight. The only problem were two wires reversed in a network drop, and Bill promptly returned to correct this. We have no idea how his prices compare with other contractors, but the work was done to estimate, done well, and done punctually - you get what you pay for. During the design phase, Bill made a number of very good suggestions which all worked out well. Highly recommended.
