Description of Work: Martin Electric installed an electrical panel. I assume he did the install correctly. He is a pleasant person to talk to. My problem is with the fact that he took about a month to close the opening after the install. It rained a few times while I waited for him to finish. Other jobs got priority. I didn't take a month to pay him. In fact, he was paid well before the install.

Description of Work: I had a question on panel load. Bill came out same day (my house happened to be between his two jobs that day) and took a look. By that night, he sent me formal load calculations and his opinions on the safety of my proposed project (adding AC). He was polite, efficient, professional and very nice, to boot!

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal from this company for: $295 for Four New Recessed Lights with a Dimmer Switch Installed. That service went quite well. We have a rental property and almost everything went through our tenant, who said it was a positive experience. The work looks good and I would hire them for the same sort of job; especially in the house I live in, if they offer the same deal.

Description of Work: Highly recommended. I used Martin Electric for two jobs, to replace a porch light and timer in July 2011 and to replace the receiver in a ceiling fan when the remote broke in Nov 2011. Bill Martin was very professional, on time and friendly and did quality work.

DUE TO A VARIETY OF FACTORS THERE WAS A LARGE NUMBER OF POTENTIAL CAUSES FOR THE PROBLEM (A COMPLICATED REMOTE-CONTROL SWITCH SETUP, CF LIGHTS, POTENTIALLY FAULTY WIRING, SWITCHES OR FIXTURES), AND BILL CHECKED THROUGH EACH OF THEM IN A VERY LOGICAL ORDER. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL AND PATIENT WITH ME AS I EXPLAINED WHAT I KNEW ABOUT THE SITUATION AND ASKED QUESTIONS. TO TOP IT OFF, THE PRICE HE GAVE WAS EXTREMELY FAIR. I'VE WORKED WITH DOZENS OF CONTRACTORS BEFORE AND HAVE GONE THROUGH SEVERAL REMODELS, AND I'LL CERTAINLY BE USING HIS COMPANY FOR MY NEXT REMODEL HERE.
