We had a previous pool cleaner who tried for 6 months to get our pool into good shape, but it just never happened and we were willing to do anything to get it in shape. We finally said goodbye to him. After reading through the Angies List of Pool guys here in San Diego, I asked Ryan to meet with my husband and myself. He arrived promptly and told us what was needed to get the pool looking great, which really was not much - we needed to empty the pool and then he would do an acid wash on it - which he did, we then filled it back up. Since then he comes weekly to keep it looking good and seriously it looks the BEST we have ever had it!! I am SOOO happy and cannot wait for the hot weather so we can swim. I am extremely happy and he does a great job. Thanks Ryan!

Ryan responded quickly and fixed the problems drained the pool and refilled as it hadn't been done in several years. He is now our pool maintainer!

We lost our previous pool cleaner about a month ago and our pool had gotten pretty dirty while we searched for another one. Ryan came over and immediately diagnosed our water quality and condition. He also informed us that our pump could be on it's last leg but did not try to oversell us on products or services. Ryan offered a fair price to clean the pool that day and for his monthly services thereafter. Very impressed by his efficiency, professionalism, and knowledge. So far, so good!

He has been wonderful. He is efficient, quick and excellent. If there is a problem with the pool then we know that he is going to take care of it. If he has a problem that he can't solve, like for instance last month he said that we really needed to get a navigator because the dust keeps coming back to the pool.

It continues to go great. I needed Ryan to come out and rescue my forest green pool. Took him 3 days and the the water was crystal clear. He further identified other issues with my pool equipment, fixed them and left the broken parts to show me. Clean cut, doesn't look like a creep. Family run business.

Ryan, over the course of a week, brought back the pool. It was green and the pump wasn't working properly. He drained the pool completely, washed it out, filled and applied chemicals.

Ryan was on time and very professional. We have been having a troubles with our salt system for months, and the previous pool company (out of Carmel Mountain Ranch) did not notice that the equipment wasn't working. Ryan noticed it immediately. was able to bring everything under control and now the pool looks great. We have him doing weekly service now.

They were reliable. I think their cost is about right. They seemed to do a good job with the pool.

A friend who is very meticulous with his house, yard, pool and garden had recommended Ryan Kohl as the very best of more than 10 pool servicemen he had used over the past 10 years. I have taken care of pools for 40 years. My pool motor had worn bearings, so I bought a new replacement motor. Instead of installing it myself, I decided to try Ryan. He turned up on time, discussed care of my pool, and brought with him a new seal and O-ring. He was efficient, clean and tidy and very knowledgeable. I plan to use him again and recommend his services to others.
