Kohl's Pools

We've used Kohl's Pools for two years, and Ryan has always been fantastic. We found him via a friend's recommendation who has used them for 10 years. Ryan is on time every week, does a detailed and thorough cleaning, and our pool always looks beautiful. Kohl's pools service fees are the lowest we've had quoted, and whenever we've had an emergency cleaning or equipment failure, Ryan has been able to come out within 24 hours, any day of the week. He's reliable and trustworthy, unlike our last pool maintenance company. We highly recommend Kohl's pools!

Ryan is an absolute professional. An expert with our pool. Every pool is unique and he helped me fully understand my system and chemical balances. Prices are reasonable for all the knowledge and skills you get for his service.

Ryan comes weekly, he is extremely professional and responsive. Whenever we have a question or issue he responds to me within a few hours. As usual Ryan delivers a quality and dependable service. He has been maintaining our pool since we got this place about a 15 months ago. He has always been courteous and helpful when ever I’ve had questions. He also has answered texts from me on the weekend when we have had issues. Each time he comes out and helps to get things right.

Fantastic job every time. If there is a needed part to be ordered he will send a link so you can get the exact part. He services the pool every week and communicates right away if there are any issues or repairs. Our pool looks great all the time. I would recommend Ryan to anyone that needs a “pool guy”.

We have been using Ryan for a number of years now and he is hands down the best pool guy we have ever had. He promised us when we interviewed him that my husband will not have to do anything with the pool & that is the way it has been ever since. This was after going 3 different pool guys. The only thing we do is put water in the pool when it is needed and if there are big winds or something, scoop the leaves out. Our pool is about 30 years old (but newer pump & filter) and it looks great. We also have small grandchildren who swim throughout the summer. I have referred Ryan to others. I highly recommend him.

My Service has been very satisfying. Ryan hand scraped a lot of old built up lime scale off of our tiles, pool equipment is running well and water is clear.

For three years, the service has been fine. Not perfect, but adequate. Recently, he has neglected our pool to the point that it has turned green and will need to be drained, cleaned and refilled to the tune of several hundred dollars. When I talked to him about it he accused me of giving him a pool with s--- water. I then told him that, contrary to his claim, it is impossible for our pool to be clean and clear one week and irreversibly green the next and his response was to say f--- you mother f----- several times. I told him that that approach was completely unprofessional and the line went dead. He called back a few minutes later and apologized, citing personal issues for his outburst. He accepted responsibility and said he would take care of the problem, and that is the last I have heard from him in spite of several attempts to contact him.

Ryan has been my pool service provider for three years. His service has been getting worse and worse over time. He forgets what he promised to do and he spends more time walking back and forth do his truck than working on the pool. He got sick and didn't service the pool for over 6 weeks and made no effort what so ever to service my pool when he got better. I paid in advance and he still has not refunded my money when he said he would. He is dishonest and not a man of his word. Don't use the service!

I have a pool service and the name of the company is Kohl's Pools. I believe that I found them on Angie's List. The cost of that service is 80 dollars a month. The staff that comes out is great, that is Ryan, he owns the place. It took Ryan 20 minutes for him to do that for us. I absolutely will use this provider again in the future.

Fantastic service. They have responded quickly to all service requests and have provided quality service each time. This is a provider that I would recommend for all pool related services.

Ryan knows pools. His expertise and professionalism are exceptional. He's also a really nice guy, trustworthy and reasonably priced. He was able to repair our pool quickly and maintain it impeccably. I would not hesitate to recommend his service.

We had nothing but problems with our past two pool services, so we took a chance and called Ryan Kohl on a Sunday afternoon based upon the stellar Angie's reviews. We were not disappointed. Ryan delivered from coming to our house that same day we called him. We has three major issues, and he immediately made calls and arranged for solar and heater professionals to come out and repair our non-functional solar system and spa heater circuit board. Both of these guys immediately diagnosed the problems and got us up and running. Ryan replaced the chlorine generator and got our system functioning again so we no longer had to keep adding chlorine. The pool has never looked better and Ryan is less expensive than our last two servicers. He is also is readily available and kept us updated by phone and text message. He runs an efficient, quality operation and we consider ourselves fortunate to have found him. A+

The best thing about him is that he is very reasonable on pricing. He doesn't try to rip me off like some other people have tried in the past. He seems like a very reputable person and is always conscious about not letting me pay more than I have to.
