Great. I contacted the company over the week and he got back to me within 24 hours. I wanted it done over the weekend and they accommodated my schedule. They came on time. Isreal was very nice and explained everything that he was going to do. He asked if I wanted to add an extra cleaning for the headlights and gave an Angie's list discount. He stayed longer than expected but seemed determined do a through job before leaving and didn't ask for extra. My van had never been detailed before and between kids and moving and all of that, it was in pretty bad shape. Overnight the car dried but it's still kinda wet.

We are very satisfied with the work that Israel and his partner did. They were very professional and did a great job!

The experience was very positive in every way. Israel was easy to reach by phone, and after discussing my car and answering all of my questions, he told me how much the cost would be. Because he wasn't available for the weekend that I called, he let me know what day of the following week he would be calling to give me an exact time frame for the day of the job. I was impressed that he followed through with what he said. Israel arrived a little early and we looked at my car together. My car had never ever been detailed before and was in much worse condition than I realized. I am not a car person and would get my car washed only every two or three months. Israel made my car sparkling clean inside and out. It's unbelievably clean. In fact, the more that I look at it, the more amazed that I am! I'm already on Israel's reminder list for next year and feel lucky to be on it, because he is a pretty busy guy.

Israel and his helper did a fabulous job of cleaning and detailing my husbands two sports cars. He made the 15 year old one shine like new! He is always prompt and you never have to wait a long time for an appointment. This is the second time we have used him and will continue to do so. A great job at a reasonable price.

Israel arrived on time and a few hours later he had my car looking like it had just come off the showroom floor.

You get what you pay for! My car is six years old and had never been detailed. Has been on numerous hiking, camping, backpacking trips in all kinds of weather and after my last trip decided to get help for the car. I found Israel Ruiz on Angie's List and he did a fantastic job. The car looks like new (well, almost). I would highly recommend I.M. Detailing.

Date of contact is approximate. It was in the summer of 2013. Angie's List description says: May contact through email; Service Area All San Diego County; No travel charges; No service charge. I emailed twice with no response. Then called and left message. This call was returned. Pleasant, informative conversation and ready to make an appointment until he heard I lived in Vista. Then said he doesn't go to Vista. When I mentioned All San Diego County, he then said there would be a surcharge. Then called me back and said there were no appointments available. But if I brought the car to him in El Cajon they would do the job. Several months later Angie's List description still says May contact through email; Service Area All San Diego County; No travel charges. No service charge. Very unprofessional and wasted a lot of my time with no work done in the end. Update: In response to merchant's reply, this was in no way a misunderstanding. I called a mobile detailing service that said he performed all over San Diego County and he was coming until he heard the job was in Vista. Then he said there would be a surcharge. When I said I would pay that he then said he couldn't/wouldn't come. I never said I would even think about bringing the car to him. And description still says Service Area All San Diego County; No travel charges; No service charge. Still most unprofessional and unacceptable treatment of a potential customer.

I most recently had the benefit of Israel's great work on July 8, 2013, but I am writing this after having the benefit of Israel's great work three separate times over the previous year. In other words, Israel is consistently good, day in and day out. As always, Israel (on his most recent visit) did a meticulous job with outstanding results. He is responsive when contacted, easy to work with regarding scheduling, dependable in that he shows up at the time and on the day agreed to, and does painstakingly detailed work. He cares about what you think of his work. I had previously (before I first found Israel) used another auto detailing service, one which enjoys ratings on this site comparable to Israel's ratings in terms of numbers and volume, but I can tell you from first hand experience that they are in no way as good as Israel, having compared both. Israel is simply far better at this than his competition, in all respects. You cannot go wrong, and I write this on the basis of having experienced Israel's work on three different cars over a one year period, and comparing him to the other service over a preceding one year period. There is no comparison. Israel is tops.

I called Israel, who answered his phone (didn't have to leave a message on an answering machine), and was able to respond to all my questions about his service in a friendly and professional manner. We arranged a mutually satisfactory date and time for him to come to my house and detail the exterior of my car. The result was just what I had hoped for - no muss, no fuss. Israel came on time (early actually), got right to work, and had my car (which had been parked under a jacaranda tree and not driven for over 3 months due to illness - mine, not the cars) looking like new. His truck is fully equiped so I didn't have to worry about providing a water or electrical connection and, considering the convenience of not having to drop my car off somewhere and wait for the job to be completed or arrange transportation to pick up the car, I think the cost ($100) was more than reasonable. Would definitely use Israel's service again.

EXPERT IN HIS FIELD: Israel was prompt on arrival and immediately gave us an estimate for the work to be done. The job took a little less than 2 1/2 hours and every detail was addressed. He even told us where to get an inexpensive car cover to get the best out of our new shine and he said I can launder the little shade cover in the trunk area of the car...which was a surprise to me! Overall, we were very impressed with his professionalism and will call him in the near future to detail our truck. Don't bother with those car wash detailers. Thanks Angie for your recommendation.

My car now has two lives: one before Israel came and now the one after him! I was a little put off by the price tag of $200 plus $40 to clear up the headlights but now I am so glad that I went through with it...I think I got a bargain after I saw all that he did. I have nearly 200,000 miles on my family van and the headlights were so cloudy I wasn't sure it was legal... I found IMD on Angie's List and we scheduled an appointment. He called me to confirm the appointment the day before and got here when he said he would be here. He listened to my concerns and quoted me a price after looking over the van. Israel started right away and now my headlights are crystal clear and the carpets and upholstery are clean and smell so much better. It took between 3 1/2 to 4 hours (just as he estimated) and no detail was left undone. He brought everything he needed to do the job in a giant work vehicle that was just as clean as my van now is. The interior is clean and all the surfaces are now reconditioned and the exterior looks great. The engine compartment is also clean (didn't know he did that) and he reconditioned all the hoses to avoid cracking. When he was finished, he cleaned everything up and turned his truck around to park across the street to do my neighbor's Harley on the spur of the moment when he was asked. I would use Israel again and I already know my other neighbors will as well!

Israel detailed the 2005 Toyota Tundra on a Sunday for $225.00. He was on-time and very professional. He has an amazing amount of equipment that he puts to good use. He also uses an array of excellent products. He buffed out many deep scratches and scrapes off this truck. It looked new inside and out. Israel came the next day and detailed the 2000 4-Runner for $225.00.. Again he was on time and very professional. He made this 13 year old SUV look amazing. He used teflon products on this vehicle with no extra charge. He did an exxcellent job on both the exterior & interior. I will definitely be calling him in the future when I need a vehicle detailed and will not hesitate to recommend him to friends. Very satisfied with work done for a reasonable price.

Israel was on time and was finished with the job at the time promised...he is the epitome of professionalism. He did a great job on my Toyota Prius...looks almost new now.

Israel showed up on time, began immediately, and worked diligently until he was finished. All of the cars looked the best they ever looked when he was finished and still look great more than a month later. I appreciated that he did not try to sell me unnecessary products and services. He also provided a discount for Angie's list customer's and a multi-car discount. All around an excellent experience.

Excellent. I thought my car was a had a few spots, but actually, the cloth seats really needed deep cleaning. I was using the wrong products to wash our car, and he told me what not to use and what to use and how to take better care of my car. My car is Black and I'm trading it in or selling it in the next week, black is just too much work for us, being in our late 60's and 70's and will buy a lighter cars in the future. I highly recommend Israel.

Overall Israel showed excellent work ethic and showed up 10 minutes early for an appointment made in less than 24 hours. His appointment setter moved a few clients around just to make it work for me. Both Adam and Israel were courteous and friendly and walked me through the cleaning process which included a cost range.

It was an older car and he did a great job of really thoroughly cleaning. The guy was great. He got the carpet really clean. The job was very impressive.

Israel is prompt, polite, and professional. My 2008 Lexus SC430 looks like a brand new car. His detailing work was impeccable and he successfully repaired some small scratches on the bumper. I could not be happier with the results.

Israel arrived promptly and immediately began work. He has a very professional mobile configuration and completed the job in about two and one half hours. I was very impressed by his work, especially the work he did on the seats getting rid of accumulated sunscreen. Considering the price of a detail at a gas station, his work is a real bargain. The car is spotless and like new. This guy really knows his business and is a pleasure to deal with.

I called Israel and explained that I had purchased a car for my son that had probably never been detailed and was really dirty. He was able to schedule an appointment on my day off. Israel showed up 5 minutes early and we went over my concerns about the car. He explained to me that because of the condition of the interior (which was so bad I could not tell if the interior was taupe or gray) the work was considered a restoration. He explained in detail exactly what he was going to do, what he was going to use and how the cleaning products worked. We also went over the exterior work that would be done. Israel said he would clean up the rims and tires. I was a little doubtful about the rims because they looked as if they were covered in rust but he seemed confident. He quoted a very reasonable price and got to work immediately. 3 hours later he had completed the job. The car looked unbelievable! Not in a million years did I think this car could look so good. The gray upholstery looks and feels like new. The carpets came out great and the rims sparkle. He even lifted the hood and pulled the old dead leaves from underneath. Israel is a real miracle worker and I am having him come back in 2 weeks to detail my Kia Soul. I would definitely recommend him to others.

I found Israel on Angie's list. Outstanding work and responsiveness. Car looks like new. He puts the DETAIL in Car Detail. Definitely will use again and recommend him to anyone who wants their car not only clean but REALLY clean. Side note.... I asked a lot of questions related to auto care and auto purchasing. He was more than happy to answer all my questions.
