Junior came out and repaired my A/C unit in short order. It was a huge relief to me as we were in the middle of a 90 degree heat wave! Also, the cost was FAR less than I was anticipating, and he did not try to up sell me on anything unnecessary. He was courteous and honest! I have the goal of putting my house up for sale, so an entirely new A/C unit or extensive duct work would have not come back to me as a return on my investment, so the repair was the perfect solution for me. However, I would trust this company to provide me with excellent value on a new efficient system and will definitely have them come evaluate my new home, once I move!

Project: Install Mini-Split Heat/Air in new guest home. Scheduling: Prompt responses to requests for estimate and doing the work. Their price was lower than the other two bidders and they sized the units appropriate to the space & layout. Professional & friendly. Collaborated with homeowner (me) and other subs on specific placement of units, electrical requirements, and product recommendations. During installation a change was needed due to another sub-contractors error. Cano only charged me for the additional parts needed to compensate. Work was completed in less than one day! I am very happy with their work and would highly recommend them.

Junior was exceptional. He broke down trade terminology to simple comprehensible explanations. His analysis of my situation was not only appreciated but truly professional and spot on!! No sales tactics!! Strictly here's the problem and the quote was very specific to the problem. Unlike previous opinions which described dire circumstances to my system and tried to sell me a farm when I needed a garden, Cano and Junior were exceptional and actually told me the accurate description of my system for future use!! I was an electrical contractor in northern california for 35 years. I can say that Cano Heating & Air conditioning is a class act. Junior met me as scheduled to repair my central air conditioning that was not working. He immediately diagnosed the problem and had the part on his truck to make the repair. Very competent company, I give my highest recommendation to Cano H&A.

Javier and his company were great. He worked with me picking out the best system for my home. Having never had central AC before i needed a complete system. He installed all of the equipment i requested (American Standard) as well as brand new ducting and registers. Total install took 2 days, which is exactly what Javier said it would take. I previously had 2 window units and 1 in room unit that would struggle to cool my home and use upwards of 15kwh a day. After Cano finished my install, my home now cools very quickly. I leave the thermostat set at 72 and now my daily usage is right around 5kwh! Truly amazing! I had two other contractors come to my home andprovide me quotes. Not only did Cano beat their prices by several thousand dollars he was much easier to work with and not pushy at all. I will and have recommended him and his team to anyone looking to have a high quality, high efficiency install with a great customer ecperience!

Javier (initial POC) and JR (the onsite technician) were GREAT! Javier called several times to make sure I understood everything that JR would be doing. When JR arrived, he was very courteous and professional. He explained the steps he would go through to troubleshoot my AC. he quickly found the problem (bad capacitor), and replaced it quickly. The whole process was less than an hour. Highly recommend Javier and his team for any heating and air conditioning issues that may arise (including purchase and installation).

This is a major purchase. I received several quotes and Cano Heating & Air was the better quote. Javier was very patient with me getting several estimates for different manufacturers so I might choose the better one for me. I liked his back story. A long history in the business but a short one as his own boss. He had estimated 2-3 days for installation but it only took 1. When I made a suggestion to keep the air draw free from debris he agreed and took time to come back out and make the change. I would use his company again!

This is an unequivocal, enthusiastic recommendation for Cano Heating and Air. Javier and his team his two sons - replaced my 37-year old heating and air system; heater, air conditioner, ducts, and vents. I sought bids from both larger companies and smaller independents. Cano rose to the top. His bid was unique in that he didn't just price out hardware. He took his time to talk with me about what I needed; how I wanted the various areas of the house both cooled and heated. The others told me what their system would do. Javier asked me what I wanted the system to do. That's a huge distinction. Then he went to work and his work was unparalleled. He didn't cut corners. He made sure the installation was perfect. (I would often hear him explaining to his sons how the installation had to be precisely done.) As an example, the old system was not heating or cooling the family room. Javier paid special attention to that problem, and now there is plenty of heat and air in that room. He was an excellent communicator thought the process, too; always explaining what was happening. He was always on time. He cleaned up at the end of each day. Now - the bottom line. Cano's bid was much less than the bigger companies and competitive with the smaller companies. But what set him apart from the other smaller companies were both his personal touch and the system he proposed. It was a better system than the others offered at about the same price point. Most importantly, I felt Javier gave the job his undivided attention. He bid the job. He supervised the job. He worked the job. I have confidence the job was done right by Cano Heating and Air.
