Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

In the beginning, there was a bit of miscommunication but eventually they took care of it. On the whole, everything went alright.

We did not get the job done by this company because they were much too expensive and would not negotiate even though we were repeat customers.

I found them to be very efficient and did an excellent job on the drain. Their price was seemed to be expensive to me, but the quality of their job was acceptable. I will use this company again in the future.

The service man spent a lot of time with us and was extremely helpful. He tried a number of possible options to find the persistant backup and made several suggestions about our problem. He was able to clear part of the plugged pipe. As a result of his help we were able to find the additional problem quite quickly and complete the fix ourselves after purchasing a new length of pipe.

The estimate, listed in Angie's List, as "free" is not, but costs $149 /one hour labor. And one phone receptionist said they have a " $149 hourly rate" and another told me "we price by the job",,,so there is too much pricing confusion with this company, Roto Rooter.

They came out when it was an emergency on a Sunday. The workers are ready to do anything except for snaking. They didn't want to do simple plumbing work. They were pretty expensive.

I've used this Roto Rooter twice. Once three years ago and this visit. They were able to come out same day. The two men that came to the house to perform the work were very professional, and work was completed in an hour or two. I think we paid a bit more for Roto Rooter, but I would definitely hire them again.

It was routine work. If needed, I might use them again.

Technician arrived and flushed toilet. Then he immediately began setting up clean the sewer line. Line was clean except for the "city side" which had some plant roots. Toilet still flushed slow. Technician suggested letting bowl fill up to higher level and made adjustment for that. Toilet then flushed at an acceptable power. I was not given a written estimate of the work beforehand and was pretty surprised at the $299 bill.

We had a severe flooding problem and he came out within 2 hours! The man came out and used the rooter to clean it all out. It took him a long time, but it was a fair and fixed fee. He did a super job and stayed at it much longer then we thought he would. He warned us that it might break, but he would be careful. We got the drain clear, with no breakage on a very, very hard rooter job!

My first experience they came and removed a toiled and then reinstalled it. They got rust all over the carpet and it ended up taking a long time and a lot of money. They made a mess. My second experience, a different man, Jason, came and he was good and competent. It really depends on who you get.

The person who came out here spent time trying to figure out what was wrong with the two faucets. He had to go down and buy a cartridge and a washer, and that came to $600. I couldn?t live with that. I had used him once before too. I had to find a new plumber to correct what he had done. They were pretty responsive and professional but I?ll never use them again. They don?t have a good reputation around here.

Roto Rooter always shows up quickly when we call them. The last technician that came seemed very knowledgeable and solved the problem. In previous times there have been problems it sort of depends on who shows up. The quality this last visit was very good.

They were very knowledgeable and straightforward. The prices were good and they didn't try to sell me a bunch of parts that I didn't need.

I had another company perform the work a few days earlier and even after coming out a second time, they couldn't get the drain cleared. My brother had good experiences with Roto-Rooter and the price was more reasonable. I had scheduled the work and the first tech arrived on time. He realized he needed a second tech to run the large powered auger through the roof vent. It took an hour for the 2nd person to come and I made sure I wasn't paying to have the first guy stand around. When the 2nd tech arrived, they went right to work and feed a 120ft line with a 3" auger down the roof vent. The line cleared, but the auger became stuck on the way out. They worked diligently to work the snake out, thinking it was dragging out a piece of root. It cleared eventually then they ran it again to be on the safe side and the snake didn't have a problem the second time. They worked hard and had the right equipment for the job.

I called at 7am, they promised to come between 8 and 9. He arrived on time at 8:50, finished in one hour. Did excellent cleanup job. Very personable, explained problem, gave us 10% senior discount. I definitely will call them again if needed.

My experience with them was excellent. They were quick to respond and they did a great job. I would recommend them to others and use them again in the future.

They came right on time and got it taken care of. I have used them quite a bit in the past. I have lived in this area twenty five years and only used one other plumber and I regretted doing it. Their service has always been good.

Our kitchen sink and bathtub were backing up and so we called Roto Rooter. I believe it was a Sunday. They arrived rather promptly. Danny the technician said they needed to snake the main line. This did not fix the problem. Then he snaked the branch lines (as a "courtesy") and we heard a whoosh as the water and gunk in the tub went down. It was expensive but it seemed fixed and we got a 6-month guarantee. Danny seemed irritated with my husband when he was explaining where he thought the clog was (they disagreed on location of the problem). 2 months later it backed up again. I called them to make good on the guarantee and again, Danny came out. He said that it was a new problem this time and the guarantee did not cover it. Even though the symptoms were the same. He wanted to charge me a few hundred dollars more to fix it. I asked him to leave and called another plumber.

They came on a Sunday. Were here within half an hour. They did a great job.

They were excellent! They were very thorough and they had the best estimate around. They completed the work faster than they said they were going to as well. They were great.

He could've been cleaner but the price was right and he gave me a discount. The work was completed perfectly and the man was very nice to us. He worked around our schedule and did exactly what we asked for.

I was not really happy with their work and feel it could have been better. I feel that they did not know what they we doing because afterwards, the pump did not work right. They did not even know what type of replacement was needed.

I thought the work they did for me was done properly. They came out on time and they were very careful about how they performed the task at hand. The price that was given to me was quite competitive and they were very skilled.

They were very friendly and they did the work very well. I did not have any problems following the work.
