Carl was the consummate professional. He was quick, thorough, and fixed the problem.

I had a quote of $2900. for this same job. Carl Keeney was able to estimate this job to the penny for $900. He was very efficient, concise and meticulous. He brought along another electician because I was having company and needed the work done in a hurry, while staying in the bid price. He did not have to do that, but being the professional that he is, he knew what and how to get the job done. He had some of his own parts with also helped. He alway got back to my email, phone calls and was on time. He definelty a pro with many many years of professional experience. If he can't do somehting he'll tell you. After my absolute horrow of an experiecne with another phony electrician I can't beleive the relief Keeeny Electric brought to my situation. I rarely have this kind of all around good experience with a contractor. I would and plan to have him come about again. I'm sure glad for Angie's list and a good local electrician

Carl is the "real deal", great personality and very professional. Knows what he's doing and submits a fair price. We have found our go to guy for all our electrical needs. Will recommend him to all our family and friends. He listened to what task we wanted done, how we saw the overall outcome and did his best to do the work as we pictured it being done.

Mr. Keeny came to our house the day we called him. We had numerous wires that went to a bunch of speakers throughout the house coming out of a wall that waas exposed. We wanted the wires to come out at a place where they could be hidden. Mr. Keeney came up with a strategy for moving the wires. He was very pleasant to talk to and work with. He worked quicky, did a good job, and did not charge very much for what he did. I would not hesitate to use him again.

We called Carl after firing another electrician before he completed the job because we felt that he was incompetent. We asked Carl to complete the job and also to double-check the work that the other electrician had done. Sure enough, Carl found a ground wire that had been used as a 'hot wire', and explained that I or my hubby could have been electrocuted. He corrected this problem and also completed the job; and we were surprised at how little he charged.

Excellent! Carl returned my initial call promotely and within one week he was onsite performing the agreed upon scope of work. Carl arrived on time, was professional, cleaned up, worked effiecently for the time he had estimated.

Our family room has a vaulted ceiling (19 feet plus). Most electricians we contacted were not willing to perform this type of installation. Carl indicated it would be no problem and made sure to ask us if we had all the correct hardware to install the chandelier before scheduling an appointment. He was on time, professional, was very thorough, and his quote was very reasonable. He was a pleasure to work with.

Carl was professional, knowledgable and provided the best suggestions and estimate for the job. Unfortunately there was a mix up on our part and we ended up agreeing to do the job with a different person. Based on my experience with Carl, I will look to hire him for future electrical projects.

I intended to do a few things like run power to places that had none and install a couple new circuits in my new home. While out for the estimate Carl asked me if I needed to run any wires/cables - I had intended to run them myself but after thinking about it and putting together a list it started to add up to a lot of work and I decided the only way to get things done in my time frame would be to have someone else do it. I'm glad I did. The list really grew and I called Carl to make sure he had enough time to get my now massive list done. He said so problem, and that he'd be coming with a helper (Gordon). These guys knocked it out of the park. They spent the entire day (11 hours!) on what was a gargantuan task that would have taken me a month to do by myself (plus plenty of things that I couldn't do by myself). On top of doing a great job they were priced very reasonably and made sure I was satisfied with everything before leaving.

Carl showed up on time and was able to determine that the fan had been wired to a GFI outlet that had tripped. I appreciated that he showed up when he said he would and found the simple fix!

Carl Keeney was responsive to my call regarding installation of a ceiling fan in my daughter's room. He arrived within the time frame stated, was polite, professional and efficient. He charged exactly what was estimated when I first talked with him on the phone. The job was done perfectly, and he cleaned up the work area when finished. I will use his services in the future for another ceiling fan installation.

I called Carl and left a message about my daughter's ceiling fan having a burning smell. I also said when I replaced the light bulbs with new fluorescent bulbs, they just flashed, scaring me that something crazy was going on with the wiring. Carl called me back minutes later, explained about light bulb wattage and also guessed correctly that the fan must be on a dimmer even though we didn't know it. He then explained how fluorescent bulbs worked with dimmers. I didn't end up needing any work done and he really calmed my fears. What a nice guy - we'll definitely use him for future electrical work.

The existing wiring and electrical system was undocumented and acting flaky. Carl spent a considerable time diagnosing and trouble-shooting the system, trying to figure out how the system was designed to work. He is honest and reliable. Once, I had a question about a switch and he stopped by the house on the way to another appointment to help me out. I wished all contractors were like Carl. If you ever need an electrician, he's the one to call.
