Description of Work: Art Amador installed an entire new tile tub surround. He removed the old tile, installed new cementboard backing, and re-tiled three walls around my tub. As part of the job, he also installed a tile mural on the side wall and a new niche for soap and shampoo. He did a fantastic job and I'm extremely happy with how it turned out. He was very easy to work with and I would use him again and recommend him to friends.

Description of Work: He tiled my bathroom. It was a complex tile job and he handled the tiling easily. We ran into trouble because a plumber was needed. The plumber didn't get things right. In the end, the tub doesn't hold water and the shower head, spout and drain closure don't line up, because the new tub is bigger than the old one, and they didn't want to move the plumbing. He's a very nice man, great a tiling. Get your own plumber if you work with him. Price was GREAT.

Description of Work: Re-tiling of a shower took a little longer than expected due to non- square and non-level shower area. Still, Art powered through on the last day and got it all done. He was very reasonable in his bid and very experienced - which turned out to be crucial on our project. I would not hesitate to use him again.

Description of Work: Amador Tile responded to my e-mail request to schedule an appointment in a timely manner. They do not service my area. They suggested I contact you. I did, was sent forms, now filling out forms, as you refuse to give me a refund without doing so.

Description of Work: I purchased an Angie's List coupon for a bathroom tile installation. Art made contact with me immediately after I purchased it on line, even though it was the weekend, and we set up a time to look at the job. I wanted to re-tile a half bathroom. Because he said it was smaller than a full bath, he did not charge me extra for removal of a pedastal sink or for putting baseboard around the floor after it was finished. I think that was very flexible and generous since I'd already paid for the package and he could have easily told me those costs would be extra, not included. Unfortunately for me, there was such a great response to the coupon, that I had to schedule the job for several weeks out. He was scrupulous about setting a date and keeping to it. He always made his commitments as far as timing. Most importantly, the job is wonderful. He did a great job with a slightly irregular floor and a very straight pattern (see picture). He was clean, careful and did fabulous work, in removing the old tile and replacing it with the new.

Description of Work: The service said 2 hours of service for $100.00. Two people showed up so the lead said they would only be an hour as there were two of them. But because they were re-calking a tub/shower which was small, only person could work at a time and the other person just wait around. When I did a final look-see of the work, they missed several placed which they did calk when I pointed it out. It was not a bad job or people but these two situation were such I might not use them again depending on what I needed done.

Description of Work: We only had some minor grout work done. Al arrived on time, was polite, and did more than was required. He did some cosmetic touch-ups that made the shower look nicer. He was willing to discuss other work to be done in the bath and in general.
