Description of Work: Lancaster painted the whole inside of house excluding ceiling and trim. The group was out for three days. I had someone come out to touch up an area on one wall. I had the painters at my house while I was at work. Dave, the project manager took my dog outside during their breaks :) Great company and I would use them again.

Description of Work: My elderly mother requested a quote to paint a room during the advertised special: two rooms for $250. An estimator responded promptly and came to see the room. He quoted my mother a price over $400, even after she inquired about the special. We elected not to use them.

Member Thank you for taking the time to post your review of our company, and I am sorry that we did not meet your mother's expectations. I believe there is a misunderstanding which I will explain. Our estimator, Noah went out to look at your mother's home. She did not purchase the special for $250, which could only be done through Angie's List. She said she'd do that. If she did purchase that discount, then painting the walls only in those two rooms would be only $250. The special said it was for walls only. Your mother requested a few doors and closets to be painted as well, which were not included. Your mother approved the price Noah gave her for the additional work and then cancelled the next day by hiring someone else. If you wish to see a copy of the BIG DEAL explaining that doors, trim, closets etc were extra, I can send you a copy. We were not trying to hide or fool anyone. That is not the way we operate our business. I feel bad that your mother feels we were not honest. That is perfectly fine that she found someone to do the price for cheaper. I just want to make sure that she did not feel we tried to take advantage of her. That was never our intent. The BIG DEAL offered by Angie's List is a deeply discounted promotion. It helps us find more new customers and gives them a way to try us out at a discounted rate. Two rooms, walls only would normally be $500. So we definitely gave your mother a good price to add the doors and closets. We are sorry, and if you wish to discuss this further, please contact our office.

Lancaster Painting was amazing. They came out to give us an estimate very quickly and were in the house painting within the week. The guys that came went above and beyond to ensure the rooms looked great. All of our floors and furniture were protected. The house was in pristine condition when they left. While they were painting, they discovered that we needed to scrape and repaint our ceiling in the guest bathroom and immediately provided an estimate and asked for approval to complete the work. After they were done, they had us inspect the work and promptly touched up all areas we found. They were the most professional and polite people I've worked with in a LONG time. I would HIGHLY recommend using Lancaster Painting for any of your painting needs.
Description of Work: Painted three interior rooms and a hallway. Touched up the shoddy work that my husband and I did while attempting to paint on our own.
