Prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable are words a previous reviewer used to describe Dan Eyre. I not only agree, but would like to add...very hard working. I was very satisfied with Dan's work and will definitely call him again for any future sprinkler maintenance or repairs I might need.

I called Dan and he called me right back and set an appointment for the next day. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him!

Dan is the best! I had him out again--very responsive--called me right back and was out within a day. Was able to install some new sprinklers for me and also helped me with a few extra things--just because he is awesome like that--such as my leaky water spigot and my rain gutter. Would definitely have him again--he is the go to guy for all things lawn and landscaping!

Our lawn is the original Bermuda grass that was sodded 30+ years ago. After years of patching we decided replace the lawn. We have used Dan?s Landscaping in the past for sprinkler work and tree removals and were impressed with Dan Eyre?s skill, professionalism and price. August 15, Dan measured the area and we agreed on $800 to re-sod our front yard with Marathon II sod. He then applied grass killer and asked me to avoid watering for 3 weeks and then he would come out to finish the job. September 10, Dan removed the old grass, removed some stumps and root-work that were under the ground and thoroughly fertilized and leveled the ground. He also re-positioned some pavers around a culvert to level them out as they had settled over time. September 11, Dan sodded the lawn with Marathon II sod, which looks beautiful and garnered kudos from my neighbors. Dan went over the care for the lawn which is special for about the first month. Watering week #1 three times per day at 8 AM, 11 AM and 2 PM. Watering week #2 two times per day at 8 AM and 2 PM. Starting week #3 once per day 7 AM. As the days get cooler we?ll back off to every 2 or 3 days. Mowing, Marathon II is supposed to be cut to a height of 1 ½ to 2 inches. The first mowing I set the mower to 3 inches and mowed pass #1. I set it to 2 ½ inches and mowed pass #2. Since it was pretty hot outside, I decided to leave it at that height for another week. Second mowing, I mowed using the 2 ½ inch height and then lowered it to 2 inches and mowed again. I think I will leave it at 2 inches. Overall the work was professionally done and we have complete satisfaction from Dan's work and will continue to use his services as needed.

Dan serviced my home sprinkler system. He checked all sprinklers for each of 5 stations and flagged those that needed something; which were a lot of them. He adjusted some sprinklers, replaced nozzles in 8 sprinklers, and replaced the entire sprinkler heads for 2 others. Dan was very professional, very knowledge, and had everything he needed with him to get the job done. After about 2.5 hours he finished and my sprinkler system was working well again. He also gave me a lot of great advice about my sprinkler system, and about how to help my lawn recover. Now that the sprinklers are working efficiently, my lawn is getting green while still obeying all the LB water rules. Thank you, Dan.

Dan responded to my call the same day I left him a message on a Saturday, he came out to my home on Sunday. I told him what I was looking for, he explained that I could accomplish what I wanted for a lot less. Basically I was considering getting new sod , new sprinkler system front and back yard, but Dan said with regular watering and proper fertilizer the grass I had would grow back. I appreciated his honesty and chose to give him the job. He gave me an estimate, completed the work on time and to my satisfaction.

Dan returned my calls promptly and was courteous and professional. He made several budget saving suggestions during his consultation, and helped us save as many of the existing heads as possible. He was upfront about pricing and worked quickly to get the system running well. Very good experience.

My sprinklers would not turn off and the yard was flooding. Dan responded right away to my phone call and was over within the hour. He found the parts (my system is old) and fixed the problem. He left everything clean, and charged a reasonable price. He even left me the address of the parts place in case I needed additional parts in the future. Very nice service!

Several areas of lawn were not getting watered, and I thought there was a leak in one location. After checking the sprinkler heads and making some minor adjustments and clearing some clogs from debris, Dan discovered the water pressure was set too low from a previous plumber repair. Dan was great! He doesn't usually work on Saturdays but came out since I was in a bind and was leaving town and it is supposed to be extremely hot next week. He explained everything, was very quick, had the parts he needed and didn't leave a mess. He also gave me advice on how to repair a hose that I was working on. Great job and would definitely use him again!

I am very happy I chose Dan! Great service, reasonably priced, and he did great work! After trying to fix a few problems on my own I regret taking the time and frustration. I am so happy to not have to manually water my yard any more and that I finally called an expert to get it done right. Plus I feel the pricing was really reasonable.

Dan arrived at the time that we had agreed on. I walked him through my problem areas; broken sprinkler head and 2 underperformng sprinkler heads. I was impressed with how he took the time to show me how I could fix these things myself if they were to happen again. He gave my system a careful review and identified other sprinkler heads that were not working well (one was even backwards!). Dan reviewed with me the settings on my timer making suggestions for operating times for the different areas. Dan was very polite, helpful and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Dan for anyone who needs help with their sprinkler system.

Dan was great to work with. Easy going, efficient, and thorough. Was able to work me in before another project because I wanted the trees removed for a new roof and house painting. Came out on Wednesday and gave me a very reasonable quote and returned on Monday to do the work. The bougainvilleas were in a tight work area, so we agreed to cut them down and he will return to remove stumps. Cleaned up after very nicely, including the mess of dried leaves that were there before. I will be having him back to do more work!

This is the second time using Dan and my second review. The backyard needed to be sod'ed after all the grass had died due to remodel traffic and activities. Dan did a great job of soil prep, irrigation maintenance and sodding. Also in the front there was pipe leak/breakage that was evident by the water flow around the soil. The job wasn't large, but Dan did the work very professionally and thoroughly. Trimmed a fruit tree in the back as the same time. Very pleased with the results.

Arrived on-time (during the agreed upon two hour block of time). After a thorough check of all sprinklers, began by fixing leak at one of the sprinkler heads, then worked quickly to either adjust or replace heads to ensure proper spray patterns for existing system (front and rear yards). Replaced part of valve assembly to eliminate loud noise. Gave lawn care advice, and provided informative answers to all of my questions. Since the service, the system has run a few times, with no apparent problems. I'm pleased with the results.

Had a leak in sprinkler pipes and it was too involved for my husband to bother. Called Dan and he promptly came out and fixed the problem and only charged $160.00. This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have used him and I'm always pleased. He does a great job of explaining and showing what the problem is and is quite reasonable. This time he was even willing to show my husband how to do the repairs himself. Great businessman!

Dan was great! He answered the phone or called back. His price was fair. He said what he was going to do and did what he said, on time and within budget. Dan couldn't start the job right away because he had previous job commitments, which he kept. That's fair. He started my job a few days early, that's super. He worked all day every day until the job was complete. He cleaned up after work everyday, and did little extra things to my yard. He treated my home like it was his home. That's excellent. Dan came highly recommended to me through Angie's list, and I would highly recommend him too.
