Working with Dan was great. He contacted me via telephone to confirm the time of the appointment...showed up on time and new exactly what needed to be done...THEN DID IT.

Dan root caused the leaking right away and fixed it by replacing a new valve. He also adjusted all other sprinkler heads and made sure they work properly and covers the entire area. He also setup the timer and made some good suggestions on how to take care of the lawn. Very good job!

Very well. Dan has done work for me before. This was a bigger job, and he handled easily and efficiently. It's real easy to work with Dan. Unlike many businesses, Dan is responsive and dependable. He moved a controller timer from in-garage to outside garage, repaired broken pipe, repaired/replaced broken pop-ups, re-balanced the type of sprinkler heads required, and adjusted sprinkler times, as needed.

It went very well. On the day he gave me the estimate, he repaired the sprinkler heads. He then spent a couple of days trimming the trees and cleaning up. He worked by himself so I didn't have a bunch of strangers running around the yard. He was diligent, easy to talk to and got the job done efficiently and quickly. His price was in the mid range of what I expected to pay. I would recommend Dan and definetly use him again.

Dan did a great job and was very reasonable. He worked on all the sprinklers in my back yard, helped me organize them for the timer, and got them all running much better than before. I highly recommend his service. He is very thorough and informative.

Everything went well. Dan came out to give an estimate on a Saturday due to my hectic schedule even though he normally does not work on Saturdays. Dan advised that whoever previously installed our sprinklers had them up too high and the landscaping company's lawnmowers had no way of really avoiding them so he re-piped each head to sink into the ground enough to avoid this problem. As discussed during the estimate Dan came out and replaced all the damaged heads on time on the following Monday. All the sprinklers now work.

Dan was extremely professional and offered same day service at what I thought was a fair price. He was able to come and give me an estimate within an hour of me calling him. Great guy that offered suggestions and tips. He finished when he said he would and left my yard clean.

The estimate, consultation, and small repairs to existing sprinkler system took 1.5 hours, and was very informative and thorough. Overall, the experience was good.

Dan was great from the beginning. He responded quickly to my initial inquiry, rapidly set an appointment, and came on time. Found the problems with dispatch and fixed them just as fast. I appreciated his explanations of how everything worked so that I could be alert to evolving problems. Dan is personable with quite a sense of humor. He told me about being a rodeo clown at the LA fair and doing gigs at the Comedy Club in Newport Beach. Wow!

Great! Dan is a very personable and knowledgeable landscaper. He knows his plants, irrigation systems, and just about everything about outdoor landscaping. He first came over to provide an estimate of the work I thought I needed. While I believed that the installation of sprinklers in the front yard was improperly done (by another landscaper), he confirmed that the work was sufficient for my needs: I appreciated this very much, since he could have given me a bucket full of BS and I would have believed it. So he saved me money there. He tested the rear yard sprinklers and immediately diagnosed that I didn't need additional heads or risers or whatever you call the things that make water come out, but instead explained that we needed different types of heads. He also surveyed the yard and house area for the automatic sprinklers I wanted in the back yard and explained how he'd have to tap into the electricity through the wall to install them. He gave me an estimate of $850 for everything, including the removal of the tree, and said he'd be back in a couple of weeks; that he'd call first. In the interim, we encountered some unexpected and unpleasant expenses, so I had to call him and let him know that the automatic sprinklers would have to wait. This was the majority of the estimate, and I worried that the job would slip on his priority list, but he nonetheless called with a date and did the work well within his original two week promise. So here's how it went: he very carefully removed the dead tree, and didn't even chip one of the bricks in the surrounding planter! He had to first move aside a bed of rock in which the tree sat, which couldn't have been the highlight of his day. I'm sure the clay soil didn't help things, either. He cleaned off the brick, picked up the leaves and twigs that fell around the area, and covered the now-visible PVC with an empty plant pot so as to thwart any chewing fantasies of the two dogs. He replaced the sprinkler heads in the planters and now coverage is steady and consistent. He also adjusted the heads in one of the front yard planters because I asked him to look at it. Value added: (1) he provided helpful tips as to the type of tree to purchase and how to amend the soil before planting it; (2) he has a delightful sense of humor (3) cleaned up his work area; (4) he was willing to do small extras. Yay.

Dan was an excellent service provider. He was very knowledgable and passed his knowledge to me as well. He was timely and he did a very thorough job. In addition he is a very pleasant and patient person to work with.

Dan did the work the day after I called. The problem part was a defective 3/4in union. Dan worked the scheduling with our renter. The scheduling, performance of work, and payment processes were very smooth and seamless. Dan is easy to work with. I'll go to him in the future for any other irrigation plumbing problems. He did good work for a fair price, and he was dependable and punctual.

Dan is very honest and took the time to explain what was going on with our sprinkler system. Was able to fix our system no problem. Very reasonable and inspected our whole system to make sure each and every sprinkler head was doing what it was suppose to do. Would definitely use him again and I highly recommend to others!

Dan showed up between the range of hours he had given me. I told him what the problem was, so he repaired a cracked sprinkler pipe and replaced a valve. He was there a couple of hours. Recommended I do some things to my sprinklers. Total bill was $200 and showed me what to repair and replace valves, diaphragms and solenoids, for future problems. He had a great attitude and had a couple of other jobs to do with some of my neighbors, so he's known around the area. I totally recommend Dan for irrigation and landscaping services.

This is the 4th property on my street that Dan had done work. He came highly recommended. Dan is an informed and experienced professional. He made every effort to be sure I understood what he was doing. I will be saving water because he was able to cut out unneeded water stations around some mature trees in my back yard. Since we have new watering rules in California, I knew I needed to find someone knowledgeable to take care of the sprinkler systems at my home. I found Dan's Landscaping in our latest "Angie's List" Booklet and contacted him to set up an appointment. I needed someone with knowledge of flowers and trees so that my plants could survive on a minimum amount of water (twice a week, 10 minutes). Also, my sprinkler systems had not operated for some time and required repair or perhaps replacement. Dan Eyre arrived at the appointed time and inspected the plants and trees and then the sprinklers. He quoted his usual charge and explained what would be an additional charge. Dan is a very pleasant and knowledgeable man. He took the time to explain what was necessary for the various plants and also what was required to repair the two sprinkler systems. The sprinkler heads were replaced and some were moved to maximize watering benefits. New wiring was required in some areas of the systems and the timers and water amounts were reset. During this time, Dan explained what each adjustment or relocation would accomplish. I would hire Dan's Landscaping again if I had any landscaping needs.

Dan was conscientious about phoning to let me know when he could do the work and arrived on time. The job took a little longer than he thought, but he did a few extra items in addition to the original work I needed. Great job on a difficult repair. I would definitely call him again for any lawn/irrigation/tree service.
