Results just exceeded our expectations by far. These guys were the most reliable, organized, reasonably priced and easy to work with.

We chose M&M Construction after a recommendation from a friend. Comparing their prices we were able to get a much nicer cabinet then what we have originally planned. From the beginning it became very obvious that M&M Construction is entirely customer driven. They spent several hours with us during the design phase to handle our constantly changing kitchen visions and then came out and measured the kitchen before the order was placed, they even pointed out a few issues that were going to impact the cabinet install during the measurement which mitigated stressful surprises during the install phase. During the install phase they again helped us get through several major issues related to messy work done by the previous homeowner. This included having to cut down a cabinet due to a hidden pipe which M&M Construction was able to handle. Their installers work fast and do great work, if you have a problem, they fix it. M&M Construction will literally work with you until your kitchen is perfect. We couldn't be happier with the results.

Talk about a fantastic experience. We even gained a friend out of the project and plan to always use our Contractor, Eli for future projects. From start to finish the entire company went above and beyond to make the project as we wanted. I simply can't say enough about Eli as he was amazing through the entire process, including my very late night text messages with worries, concerns, and changes. He definitely put in the extra effort which you only get from someone who is extremely passionate about their job. In addition, He is fantastic with thinking outside of the box and creating unique space-saving concepts. I love love love my new kitchen!!

Took down a lot of info. Seemed helpful. Consumed at least an hour. Promised to get back with estimate. Even after two follow up phone messages and an answered call promising the estimate, never heard from again. Waste of their time and ours. I would at least expect a call saying they did not want the job. Could not recommend this outfit to anybody.

New plumbing, electrical, new finish for kitchen cabinets, countertops, couple of walls removed, new walls constructed. New appliances installed, Sheetrock repair and paint. Contractor pulled permits himself and took care of the order of the work. All done pretty fast and smooth with great results, thank you guys for the experience :)

Called these guys ten days ago, and left a message; received a responsive voicemail the next day. I returned that call within an hour; nobody picked up, so I left another voicemail. No response that day; no response the next day. Finally, I called back and left another voicemail yesterday. No response at all. I will take my business to a company that is committed to that most basic of principles, i.e., wanting new customers.

Provider was supposed to respond to a request for bid. They never even followed up to say they can't. No courtesy. The lady named Sherry mentioned that she would call but never did. I followed up and left a message to call back but never heard back.

They were the best. They were fantastic in every category.

As far as I can tell, the work quality was good, except that on the right side where the new frame meets the wall, it isn't square and a filler was put in to cover the distance. Since it's a garage, I said nothing. It will be covered by a curtain. The contract said that an (official county gov )inspector would be a part of the process. The window was put in before I realized, and the lead man/estimator said that we had agreed to forgo the inspection. I had not agreed. The worker still there in the afternoon said he wouldn't be painting the trim (my paint) until I showed him where it was listed in the contract. The window was listed on the contract at $450. I was concerned about the cost of the window itself as quoted, so I had looked at Home Depot and Lowe's and found just what I wanted, told the lead man I would purchase it and the worker could pick it up. What I paid for the window was deducted, but their "order window item" was $450, and I paid $180 at Home Depot. I don't know why I had to pay the $270 difference. I knew the total estimate was high, but I was willing to pay more to get it done because I had wanted it done before summer and it was september. The lead man/estimator said a lot about how a legal contract was important and that inspectors were important, but in the end that didn't help me and I just wanted it all over. I was an education.

The guy they sent out was nice and they called to remind me of my appointment which was good. He gave me a price (a verbal estimate) and told me what I would need to buy in addition – which was just about everything. He wouldn’t give me written estimate. He said if he gave me anything in writing that I would just show it to the next contractor for a better deal. He was also verbally tearing apart my recent kitchen remodel done by another service provider which I didn’t appreciate.

They were great, but after a site visit and estimate, we will not be able to proceed at this time.

I am very happy with my new bathroom that was completed couple of month ago. These guys also repaired my old redwood deck and did some general repairs around the interior and exterior of the house. Everything went smooth from start to finish and it looks great, I will recommend M&M construction to all my family and friends. Thank you very much.

Twice they rescheduled our appointment just an hour before they were scheduled to show. I had already left work early to be able to meet with them each time. When they did arrive, the owner brought the foreman with him. The foreman ranted on and on and did not allow my husband or I to talk or ask questions. When we managed to ask a question, the foreman wouldn't answer us and instead continued to ramble without making sense. He actually said to me "It'll be a honeymoon in the beginning, but then you and I will argue a lot!" He ranted for over an hour and then spit out this astronomical quote for each job. We remained polite the entire time he was in our house, but couldn't wait for him to leave. He was abrasive, rude and didn't have answers to our questions. We recently had two other contractors provide us with quotes that were in line with what it should cost us. They were also knowledgeable and answered our questions well.

They came out and looked at the job. We asked them to give us a ballpark idea and the number they came in were just shockingly high, like 40% above what we were expecting. Since we ran the project ourselves, it was about 1/3 above what it’s actually gonna cost us to do. That’s not a big issue to me, that’s not a negative thing. The negative thing is that we spent an hour and a half of our time and his time but he never got back to us. That’s a big issue for me. They were able to come out fairly quickly but it wasn't right away. They were there when they said they would be there. They were quite professional. They had some good ideas which is what we were looking for. They actually had some good input.

They were very informative, pleasant, and easy to deal with. They answered all questions. They provided me with good information regarding the product and process.

They helped me to troubleshoot and correct problems with a light switch that I purchased from them.

Spoke to Shelly on a Friday and she requested to send her an email with photo attached and will get back to me on Monday. However, no response was ever received from this company. Couple of days after submitting this review, I received a phone call from Shelly. It seems she was having difficulty with her email provider on the particular day I sent her the email. She apologized even though it's not her fault and offered to help me in the future as a good gesture. Therefore, I withdrew the "Responsiveness" rating and changed the "Professionalism" & "Overall" rating to a B.

The service provider was very good about coming out and giving an estimate, however the work that needed to be done to complete the project would have been over 2 1/2 times the value of the coupon. As a result, I have chosen to go in another direction.

I hired M&M Construction to redo my kitchen's backsplash, take out some base cabinets and reconstruct a lower countertop so I can have a better function around the kitchen with my chair. As a retired contractor myself, I have to say these guys impressed me! Work was done on time, on budget and at a very high quality! Thank you M&M for providing me with a better quality of life.

It was easy to make appointment on weekend and he arrived on time. From there went downhill. Seemed to talk down when describing work needed. Then gave me estimate that seemed very high, and then pressured me with additional discount that was only good if we scheduled right now - said this discount leaves with him. I said we needed to think about it and I never heard from them again. Had way better experiences with others that were far less and these contractors followed up and gave me written bids and no high pressure sales. Accepted another bid that was 48% (less then half) of M&M's "today only" discounted bid after checking other contractor solid references. I have no idea how this contractor received A grade from others.

M&M remodeled our relatively small master bathroom, including re-tiling the shower, installing new shower door, toilet, light fixture, vanity, countertops, sink, and medicine cabinet. The finished product looks fantastic. We are especially happy with the new shower-it looks amazing and makes the room look much bigger. There were a few shortcomings--the project was estimated at 1 to 1.5 weeks and took about 5 all in. However, if time is not a huge concern, M&M does a great job. In sum, although we were a little frustrated with the delays, it was worth the wait. We always trusted that M&M would get it done right. Note: We paid M&M $9K. We provided the materials (minus countertop and shower door). Materials cost roughly $2K. So total cost for remodel = $11K.

Not a good experience. Sounded like a great deal, FAILURE is all I got.

Terrible. Feel like this was a bait and switch. I paid $50 for floor plans and a 3-D version. Was more interested in trying to sell me expensive complete plans. On 10/20/13 it was this will cost you $4,800. Then called back 2 days later and was told it would now be $8,400. No explanation why other than he said he spoke with someone at planning. Huh???? Would never recommend this company. Put in for my refund.

Our experience with M&M Construction & Design was Very positive. We absolutely love-love-love our new kitchen. We met Eli at the Santa Clara home show, we liked very much the demo kitchen and decided to try them out. Didn't know exactly what we wanted to do, but knew it's about time we take care of the outdated look and horrible layout of our old kitchen. At the initial appointment, Eli came up with some great out-of-the-box options and ideas of how to change the layout- things that had never occurred to us from nobody else we've talked to. A week or so later, Eli created a 3d design on his computer- not a blueprint, but who expects to get a blueprint before signing a contract..? We met with him for couple of hours to discuss details, materials, budget, etc.. He provided us with plenty of information that really helped us to make a solid decision, before we finally signed the contract. We were not disappointed in the bidding process, the remodel process, the final results or the follow up and care. The workers showed up promptly and were very respectful of our time and space. The quality of their work is excellent, they pro-actively fixed anything not to their own standards (or ours) as they went. Our new kitchen got far beyond our expectations. They've continued to be responsive every time we've called with questions. What we really care about is the design and quality of the work and they excelled at these. Leave "charming" to the marketing people, who will tell you whatever you want to hear, the price you want, than deliver something totally diferent and eventually charge for more. We've had that experience in the past, don't expect anything like that to happen with these guys.

A BIG job well done! We highly recommend M&M Construction to anyone that's looking for a dependable and honest contractor. It was 14x24 addition in the lower level which included a full bath, utility and sauna room. We interviewed five contractors, Eli's quote came right in the middle. With everything looking positive we decided to hire M&M construction. Through the renovation, everybody at M&M knew how to make things run smoothly, organized and keeping the work site clean and safe for our family, Eli and his crew were very considerate, patient and carrying just about everything. We have lost almost two week due to some complications, but Eli and the crew still managed to complete the project on time as promised. We are very happy and satisfied customers.
