Description of Work: The man sprayed for ants and spiders both inside and outside. | |However he did not use the spider mop on the stucco of the house. He seemed to be in a hurry. He said that the people at Terminix had scheduled him to do our house, and actually he was scheduled at a meeting by his boss.

Description of Work: It is a pest control service that is provided every two months. Sometimes, but not always, I get a call from the employee when he is coming out to do the service in that same week. The time for him to come out used to be around the 25th of every other month. The date kept getting moved up until it came up to around the 1st week of the service month. He comes to spray and then he is gone within 10 minutes. I understand there is a cheaper service provided by another major pest control service which was recommended by a general contractor. |Although, I got to admit, I had to call the pest control service out after I saw ants at the beginning of the month before the next service; and the employee came out and took care of my request within a timely manner.

Description of Work: We have had them for years, not by choice, but by company merges by old services. They are reliable, on time, with trustworthy employees who service us. A little too quick to sell full house tenting to us some years (not by service person but the sales teams), but have not pressured us to do it this time since we don't agree with them. They have done spot treatments which worked for us, but would like to get our "tent" business.

Description of Work: I have had a pest control contract with them for years. They are very responsive. They do a quarterly visit to my home plus will make extra visits if necessary when I call them in for hornets, ants, or any other pest issues - exterior or interior. They schedule the visits and notify me in advance of when they plan to come. If I want to change the visit time or date, all I need to do is call and re-schedule. When they come on their visit they speak with me to notify me that they are there and ask if I have anything I need checked or done besides my usual requests for service. They also advise me when they are finished. I also have their termite protection warrenty guarantee for which they come and inspect my home each year.

Description of Work: They have been my pest service for the 14 years I have lived here, and I have never had a complaint. They come monthly and spray and mitigate any and all pests

Description of Work: We have a maintenance service with them for pests (fleas, ants, etc.) and rodents. It's great!

Description of Work: Was for rental house. They billed me. Never showed up. We accidentally paid the bill and could not get a refund or have work done. They also had a contract on the large condo we live in. |Collected an annual fee and never came back to refill the underground containers they had installed and never baited the rat traps after first visit. Basically we paid them for a year and just got the first visit. No replies to phone calls ever on either property and would not use or recommend them for anything.

Description of Work: This was an annual service call. I have a contract with them which they acquired from a pervious owner of a termite control company. I had grandfather rights because of the years I had the contract with the previous owner. Therefore, the low price for my service. The service personnel have always been very professional and dependable. I would recommend this company to anyone that asks.

Description of Work: I've been a Terminix customer for many years and in all that time I have never had ants in the house, which is why I called in the first place. |On the other hand, just a couple of days after our guy came by this time, the outside ants were back in force. |It's a juggling act for me, because I ask them not to use huge amounts of poison in the yard so as not to kill off all the insects or affect my animals. This time the outside ants seem to have gotten a pass. |One complaint I have about Terminix is the continual rate increases. They are about to push me to find a less expensive service.

Description of Work: about 4 years we had a contract, we called them several times to come out and they never came out. We hired another service and ever since then Terminix has been calling, and writing us to buy an annual contract. We contacted them 27 times, via phone email and letters to stop their solicitation of us, would never use them or recommend.

Description of Work: I had 3 services with TERMINEX - pest control, termite and subterranean termite. When they did my annual inspection for termite, they said repairs were needed on my back stairs at about $4500, and some additional work on my second floor. Terminex sent a contractor to do the work. After 2 days, he vanished, leaving me with landings and stairs missing and a pile of trash in my driveway. I waited several days and they did not come back. After a number of calls, I was told that more work was needed than originally planned and while I would not be charged, they would need approval from the head office. After 3 weeks of calls, I finally got the trash picked up from my driveway. After another 2 weeks of calls, I finally was told the work had been approved. The contractor showed up and completed the stairs, left a note for the city inspector, and vanished. I again waited a few days. After several more weeks, no city inspector had shown up. I called the city. No one had bothered to make an appointment with the city inspector, so I made it and it passed inspection. But I still did not know if the work on the 2nd floor had been completed. I called TERMINEX and made an appointment so that someone from TERMINEX could inspect and let me know if the 2nd floor had been done. I was stood up. I made more calls. Finally, they said they would send the contractor over to do the work on the 2nd floor. The contractor showed up, left a pile of wood on the 2nd floor, and vanished. I again made more calls. I was now told that termites had been found and the house would have to be tented. I was given a number to call to get information about the tenting. I called the number -- there was no answer and the message box was full. I again called TERMINEX. I was told that the tenting company would be in touch. After several more calls, I finally got the contractor to show up and pick up the lumber they had left on the 2nd floor. The evening before the tenting, I got a message saying they would be there the next morning at 10 a.m. They came, tented, and left, and I finally got back in my house. I then cancelled TERMINEX. They were utterly unprofessional, unresponsive, unconcerned about delays, unable to follow up on the progress of the work. The ONLY reason I did not give them an "F" is because they honored their contract with me and did not charge me for the tenting. I am now with another company, Gallant, which is giving me double the service at half the price.

Description of Work: They clean the outside walls of the house of spider webs, spray outside of the house an yard for ants and other bugs. Spray inside of house for any bugs you inform them you have or spray inside of house as a preventative measure. I like this company a lot.
