. I called and spoke with a nice woman, gave her my approximate window measurements. She said someone would call me back.I NEVER heard from them again. Guess they don't need my business? I wanted a bid for 2 large sun room windows and 1 window in the garage. Maybe if I'd wanted all the windows in my home replaced they would have called back ?

The two installers were very polite and professional. They kept the area clean and free of debris. They even brought their own trash can. They made sure we were pleased with the installation and new how the new windows operated.

After we noted apparent failure of the seal in three of six large windows, we searched Angie's List for someone who could replace the windows. At one point we seriously considered replacing all the windows so the trim would be the same color. Since we live quite a way from the construction company, I brought the window measurements and photos of the job site so we could discuss the job. I left with the understanding that I would be contacted in the next day or two to schedule a visit from someone who would take measurements and provide a bid. I received an email the next day, telling me that there had been a delay but they would get back to me in the next day or two with details. When I had not heard back in 10 days, I phoned and made contact. One owner spoke with me and said that she was very reluctant to go forward with the job because she feared the height would be hazardous to her crew. I was disappointed at the delay and the news. Although I respected their concern, we were disappointed that they failed to communicate this decision to us, leaving us hanging until I made contact. I felt our interactions were cordial and mutually respectful. We contracted with Clovis Glass for the window job but did use JZ for another job, for which we gave high marks.

We live in the foothills of Fresno County and our house was vulnerable to woodpecker damage. The siding is Hardipanel and not in danger but the trim is wood and had incurred some damage. When we discussed another window job with JZ the owner, Joe Zingarelli, told us about this application for woodpecker problems and gave us a rough idea of the cost. After we decided to go ahead with the project we contacted JZ in May. A sub-contractor named Tae came to our house, looked the job over carefully, and JZ gave a firm bid. When the material arrived, Tae installed the cap on our exterior trim. He worked for five days and did a superb job. The quality of his craftsmanship and his patience and attention to detail were very impressive. We are owner-builders with high standards and are sometimes less than happy with work done by others but that was absolutely not the case on this job. We would recommend Tae and JZ Construction without hesitation and will remember them both if we have a similar need in the future.

Kerry was very attentive to the delivery of the good service. I had one issue and she solved it right away. I would use them again in the future.

All work was done on time and workmanship, cleanup was done well.

JZ gave us a bid for those windows, and asked if they could also provide a price on replacing all the windows in the house. While we didn't go that route this time, we will when we have the funds next summer. The estimate for the whole house was surprisingly affordable. They are professional, installed the windows a week ahead of when they thought and did lovely work. They even removed and re-hung a stubborn window covering that didn't cooperate with us. They were so clean with their installation that you couldn't tell they'd been there - except for the lovely new windows!. We liked that they gave us a choice of two different grades of windows while the other company offered just one. We went with the higher quality window.We look forward to having them back to do the rest of the house in 2012.

Long before there was an Angies List I upgraded my home to new Anlin Windows throughout the house. The difference was night and day, we loved that house after the new windows were installed. It was the best thing we ever did to improve that home. Terri and JZ Construction listed to our concerns, gave us solutions to the problems we had, and have been very helpful several years after the service since. We now have a new home in another town, and when we can afford to upgrade this home we will certainly talk to JZ about doing this house as well!

They used siding material but they didn’t do siding. I wouldn’t want to give them super high marks. We have an older home with huge wood beams that stick out and they were rotting. We had them come and wax the beams and put aluminum siding. It looks like wood but it is aluminum siding. They repaired the beams and then wrapped them so they would not need care for about 25 years. It was siding material that they used but because they did such a good job for us and what I paid for. Feedback needs to be given because they did really good wood work. We would absolutely use them again. They were prompt and they came when they said when they were going to come. They delivered what they promised to deliver and most importantly they didn’t ask for any money upfront. I can’t say the same thing for some of the other bids that we got. They were extremely professional and we would definitely use them again.

I spent a lot with them and that was about $3000. I liked that the owner came out to do the estimate and answer all my questions and it wasn’t a salesperson. Once they came out the work was done very efficiently and they got done really quickly and also cleaned up after themselves. The windows were great and it was exactly what they said it would be and I am pleased with the products. I was actually quite happy with them and I can’t think of anything to complain about. The workers that showed up were great. Their pricing was competitive with everyone else, so that was fine. They were extremely responsive and very helpful over the phone.

Overall, I think the entire experience with JZ was great. I got two other price quotes from Clovis Glass and NW exteriors. Clovis Glass came in intially higher, but was willing to match JZ's price. All three price quotes were similar. I think the reason I went with JZ is because of their reputation for customer service and their product. I really liked the Anlin Catalina series better than the Milguard Tuscany. I was able to visit JZ's show room and compare the Anlin window vs. the Tuscany and I just felt most comfortable with their product and Anlin's warrenty is great.

Great ! The cleanest contractors ever. Got in and got it done.

They did a great job. We were really lucky. We spent about $7000 or $8000 for their services. The paint that they used is some kind of paint that preserves the stucco. I don’t think I disliked anything about them. They cleaned up after themselves. We didn’t have to call them back for any problem. I have seen the person I dealt with since because he is still in business and he works for the home and garden shows. So, he is still around. Everything is under warranty. It has a lifetime warranty on it and there are no problems. They were nice and they didn’t bother me. They did what they were supposed to do. The only thing I don’t like is when you have to move things, but that has nothing to do with them. You just have to make yourself available when you are going to have it done. Other than that, there wasn’t any problem. I would use their services in the future too.

They do not provide my type of window. Provided me with names of other businesses in area that do. Very helpful.

We had obtained two prior bids and saw their sign on a neighbor's lawn so decided to get one more bid. The owner, Joe Singarelli came to our home and made his presentation. He did not give too much information but he provided all the answers to our questions and did not give a "hard sell." He left the decision as to whether to use their services up to my wife and myself and did not harass us with follow-up calls. His estimate was $2,000.00 less for a better window replacement (one of our estimates proposed using the Anlin windows, but a construction grade window not the better grade). I then went to the neighbor who had used them and he told me that he was extremely pleased with JZ and that he would use them again when he replaced additional windows in his house. We decided to go with them and arranged our own financing which gave us a 5% discount and they gave us a date three weeks later for the installation. They actually were able to accommodate us sooner than expected and came out and completed the installation in a day and a half. Their crew was fabulous, each member came into the house, introduced themselves and asked permission for using the bathroom and took time to explain what they were doing. They put down tarps and we found little if no dust or mess when they were finished and they went through and explained the operation of the windows and benefits and care for them. We were absolutely pleased with their performance. Upon completion my wife noticed two small manufacturing flaws in the screens (not the fault of JZ Construction), when I called to see what should be done to repair these, the immediate answer was that they would replace them and made the arrangements to do so. I would absolutely use them again if I needed replacement windows. Fortunately these window have a lifetime guarantee for both breakage and installation so although I will be using JZ if a baseball goes through the window, I won't be paying for it.

It could not have gone smoother and was done in less than one full day. The window itself is beautiful and the installer did an excellent job. It looks like it has always been there both from the inside and outside my manufactured home. I would hire this company again.

We are still in the process of choosing the company to go with for the replacement windows.

Everything that they did was perfect. I didn?t compare their price with any other company. I would use their services in the future too.

We got two estimates and JZ was a little higher, but their professionalism and knowledge was just what we were looking for. It took two days to install all the windows. They even provided us with a company to make sure all the alarms were disconnected and reconnected after the install. I would definitely use them again.

I have never had such great service from any company that I have hired, until I hired this company. They were so great to work with and showed me everything that I needed to know about the new windows and sliding door. They called every time to confirm their appointment and I loved working with the owner(Terry). She made me feel like we were old friends by the time I finished getting an estimate from her for the Windows and Door.

We had estimate / bids from 3 different companies. JZ was in the middle on pricing, but provided us with the most information to consider and had answers with thorough explanations to all of our questions. We also liked the fact that the Anlin windows they use are award-winning and manufactured locally. (This really turned out to be a bonus when we later decided to also change the windows in our detached garage.) The initial appointment to measure was on-time and took 2 technicians about 90 minutes. A few days later they called to confrim the install appointment for the following day. The crew of workers arrived on time at 8:00 am and went right to work in specialized pairs. They replaced 2 very large windows and 11 smaller ones in under 6 hours and left not one sign (dust, garbage, cartons, tools) of their presence, except for our new windows. More than 2 years later, we used JZ to replace 2 windows in our garage and this was an equally pleasant experience. Although we were expecting savings on our utilities with this improvement, we also brought more peace and quiet to our home, neighborhood noises are much less noticeable and the dogs don't bark as much. This was the very best experience we have had with any home improvement company since moving into our house in 1991.

I WAS ECSTATIC WITH HOW PROFESSIONAL THEY WERE. THEY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO US. THEY DID NOT PUSH THE PRODUCT ON US- THEY EDUCATED US AND LET US MAKE OUR OWN DECISIONS.
