Description of Work: They removed a huge silver maple tree from my side yard. They used a large crane to hold large sections of the tree while they were cut, then hoisted them up and over a large date palm and out to the street where they cut them into small enough pieces to load into their trucks and trailors to be hauled away. There was no damage to the fence or to either of my two storage sheds or to my house. The cleanup was very well done. It took a full day.

Description of Work: Thinned and cut dead branches from a 3-story tree and another 2-story tree in our backyard; cleaned it up and hauled it away. Due to equipment repair, we were delayed by a day, and they communicated that a day before; which was okay. The crew leader also came in person to explain that and examined the trees to plan for the day ahead. It was important to us that they kept themselves safe as well as protecting our dwelling (the 3-story tree was in its way) and they did that. It was a 2-day process. The clean up in the yard was amazing; no sawdust left behind. We tend to wait too long to clean out these old trees, and will probably do it sooner at the suggestion of their arborist. That way it won't cost as much all at once.

Description of Work: Tree Pros kept us informed when they couldn't be available (due to an equipment piece breakdown) on the original date. Because we told them we were flexible with our schedule and wanted the best outcome, to reschedule with us when they could deliver that. It was just a week later when they were able to take care of the tree service we asked for. Our request was that they would remove all the debris that was created while pruning our trees. They did that and used a blower to make sure the small pieces were removed as well. My husband who was at home during this pruning said that the foreman continuously let him know which tree they were pruning and why they pruned it the way they did. I believe we paid a fair price, the work was completed as expected, and it appeared that the crew was treated well by the supervisor (and that is important to me).

They were responsive to phone calls and they gave us a good description of the work that they were going to do. Because I?m out of town, I needed a company that is good at communicating by phone and they were good about giving me calls to let me know how things were going. I had a good experience working with them.

+ -1 moreThey came in, took care of business and got out of here. They were very efficient. I would recommend them highly to anyone who is in need of tree service. They are wonderful.
Description of Work: We had a 45 year old tree that had to be taken down. They came in with a crew and within three or four hours everything was done. They cleaned up beautifully afterward. They came back three or four days later and they ground down the stump. We ask them to leave some of that for mulch. They took whatever we did not want.

+ -1 moreThey arrived on the appointed day and did a very professional job and removed all of the debris. It was amazing to watch them take down an 80 foot eucalyptus tree. My only complaint is it took them 2 weeks to return and grind the stumps. All the rest of the work was completed in the first 2 days. I will definitely call them again when we have tree trimming needs.

+ -1 moreA tree in my yard had uprooted and needed to be removed. We called Treepros late in afternoon and Brent was here to estimate the job within an hour as he had stated on the phone. He looked at the tree, gave me a price and said that he could have a crew here at 7:30 the next morning. The crew was here on time and the had the tree down, in the shredder, stump ground and the area cleaned up within an hour. This all exceeded my expectaions.

+ -1 moreApproximately 6 weeks ago, we began to get estimates for the pruning and care of two large liquidamber trees. This company was prompt in giving the estimate and approximately one week later we decided to hire this company for the work. Upon making the appointment, Treepro's had great difficulty in finding the estimate we were given but eventully found it and made an appointment approximately 3 weeks out. At the day of service, the company never showed up. No call, nothing. My husband called in the afternoon and was given the excuse that they were really busy after the recent storms. A simple 30 second call in the morning to reappoint this service would have been acceptable to me, however this did not happen. The majority of a day was wasted waiting on this company.

+ -1 moreWater from a sprinkler had soaked the roots on a huge magnolia tulip tree that provides much shade in the summertime. I had redirected the sprinkler, but was concerned that the water was "trapped" by the clay soil and would not drain. I asked if I should dig a drain to the sidewalk. Tree Pros Arborist advised not to disturb the roots. He looked at the tree (which had lost many, many leaves by that time) and felt it was in good condition and would recover. Suggested I obtain top soil and place around the roots, which are large and where water accumulates and sits. He felt that would assure the tree would recover. No charge, but suggested I call him in the fall to prune the inner part of the tree, which I will certainly do.
Description of Work: Advice on how to treat a tree that had been accidentally almost drowned by sprinklers.

They were interested in my input and they did a very good job. They brought a lot of equipment and workers and worked very efficiently. They were punctual and checked with me before they did anything. They cleaned up after themselves very well and the price for their work was very reasonable.
