The crew arrived right on time, started work immediately and completely understood the task. They were careful to remove exactly what we wanted and shaped the cut branches to be attractive. The oak tree looks beautiful and clean and healthy now! They cleaned up thoroughly and were very careful with my neighbor's new landscaping. And, they used their chipper in one large task rather than running it all day which can be really annoying. They were so quiet I kept checking to see they were still there! Their bid was the best we received. We will call them first every time for our tree care trimming needs!

I called Anne this morning and explained about the oaks. I gave her my address and telephone. She sent an email instead of calling me back with an estimate, telling me i am not in their service area. Why wasn't I told this from the start?

Brent and his crew did a great job on a large tree next to the house and power lines. They were timely and thorough, and did a good job on cleanup. We would definitely use them again.

The work was made difficult by having to work around landscaping and power lines. Brent and his crew were professional, thorough, and timely. The crew cleaned up the site after the work was done. They did a great job - we have used Tree Pros before, and would not hesitate to use them again.

I requested a quote through their website to obtain an estimate in removing a tree from our swimming pool. One day later, I received an email stating they would get back to me and gave me their phone number. That was over a month ago and still no response.

Tree Pros gave no warning of the date of service. The crew just showed up and performed the work in both my front and back yards. I did not hear anything after that day for months when I finally got a phone call asking to schedule the stump grinding. He seemed surprised when I told him that the service was already performed on the day of the rest of the service. Two days later I received an invoice. The overall lack of concern for customer service and professionalism will lead me to look elsewhere for future services.

Once we got them here it went well. It was a bit difficult working with them to set a date and to have it honored. I actually cancelled but got a call to please reconsider and they would come out ASAP. Not sure it was ASAP but they did come out and did a good job. They also sent us a Starbucks card to thank us for using their service.

We chose them because they had the lowest bid. The bids we got were no where close to each other. I could not find any reason why. They all got good reviews on Angie's List. So I went with the lowest bid. The staff arrived on time. They appeared to be conscientious of safety. They were careful not to cause any damage to the landscape. They cleaned every thing up afterwards. They were courteous to the neighbors and ensure the neighbors could get their cars our of the driveway when needed (our street is narrow and the truck blocked the driveways). Kevin was always prompt answering emails. He submitted a very detailed and professional description of the work and estimate. The trees looks very good. I think they did a good job. Very professional.

Called on March 3rd told them I needed work done by 10th. Talked with Kevin and yes they would have it done by them. We then had a storm and several trees lost around the County. Time set back called on Friday 11th and Kevin said I was set for Tuesday 15th Kevin called and said one worker was sick and would not be able to trim my tree that day so we settled for the next day the 16th Kevin called again and said another person called in sick and were unable to trim my trees. On Thursday since Kevin never called back I asked when would they be coming to trim my trees Kevin said " they keep adding more work for them and didn't know when it would be" and something to the effect he had no control over this. I called the office and talked to the person in charge and she said they don't have crews in my area and basically work in Citrus Heights and would not be able to get to my house. I was mad at this time so I said "just cancel my request altogether". This company has been pruning my trees since they were planted 20 years ago and I never had a problem. I will never call them again.

The provider made an appointment with me over the phone, did not show up for the appointment, and when I called to see if he was coming or they were just too busy, he lied and and said he did not talk to me and was sorry could not come by the I needed. When i mentioned the next day Saturday, he said it was a holiday and he was going out of town. The person's name was Kevin. I said I would be getting someone else. Terrible service to not take responsibility for the missed appt.! Will never recommend.

Kevin came out to do the estimate, he was very nice and professional. The trees needed a lot of work as they had been neglected for years by the prior owner. Large branches hanging low over neighbors' property made me anxious about someone getting hurt if they came down. Tree Pros came out when they said they would and left my trees 100% improved. They cleaned up after themselves, leaving my yard looking good. I was impressed and would recommend them to others.

The actual work was outstanding - quick and efficient. The bid and scheduling process was sub-par, and needs a lot of work. Because the company responsiveness was poor, it required more work on my end to finalize and schedule? over a month to finalize a quote and schedule the work.

We had a large oak tree overhanging the house that the county arborist told us was at the end of its life. Once we got the county permit, Tree Pros brought out a crane to take the tree down (when they got down to the stump, it was hollowed and decayed). The Tree Pros crew also performed pruning work on two other large oak trees on our property. The crew did a great job. Brent and Kevin were there to direct the work, and everything was complete in about two and a half days. They were careful, and did a cleanup each day. The pruned trees look much better and, we hope, healthier with the dead limbs gone. We recommend Tree Pros highly, and would not hesitate to use them again.

Came as scheduled, had excellent workers who were polite, efficient, and took care to protect my storage structures, house, and landscaping, etc.

* We had a CONTRACT with this provider for a month, and work was never done. Had an apt at 9am for stumps to be ground at my elderly mothers home in Folsom a month ago. I traveled from Roseville to be there by 9, and no one was there from Tree Pro's. By 10am, we called Emily at Tree Pro's and she said she would let us know what was going on, but didn't call back for several hours. By 1PM!! in the afternoon, a guy finally showed up.. with broken equipment. We called to reschedule and were told that the equipment is broken and they don't know when it will be fixed. At NO time over the past four weeks did Emily ever call us to update us. As I stated, it has been a month,...and between my mother and myself, we have called eleven times. Never given a new appointment, and never a date the equipment will be running. (Which is interesting because I saw an entry in Angie's list a couple weeks ago that says people had, what sounds like tree removal, so their equipment sounds as though it is working). Speaking with Emily was highly frustrating as she never knew anything, and never made an attempt to make things right. Just left us out there, with a contract that went nowhere. When my Mom said to her last Friday that she was going to have to find someone else since it's been a month, Emily just said, "Oh really, ok." Not, "sorry"...not "lets make things right". ????? Two Words: Unprofessional Unreliable

They arrived on time,and pruned the five trees. I was very satisfied With the work. They also did a great job of cleaning up.

Tree Pros arrived this morning within the window they told me they would be here. Very polite and professional, and very quick. I had a single cherry tree that needed some serious trimming and they just got on with the job in hand. Clean-up afterwards was excellent, and the tree looks so different now: no more over hanging branches and it now looks like a tree instead of a bush. Very happy with their service, their follow-up and their pricing. Would certainly recommend.

Fantastic...large crew, on time, well led by George, great work all the way around. My only regret...I did not tip them and they really deserved it. I will hire them again and take care of it then.

I was treated with respect. They let me intervene, talk to them, and made changes easily. I feel that you can count on them they are trustworthy, respectful, and make you feel confident and comfortable in the way you are treated. They did a great job.

Called this company on a Monday to inquire about services and to schedule a consultation. No one is available to answer calls in the office as I called repeated times throughout the day without response. Left a message but wasn't contact back until Wednesday afternoon. I was thankfully available when they called so that I could speak with someone. Office staff described the procedure that is "normal" and went on to lecture me on what was covered and not covered during consultations. When asked whether or not the individual could give us suggestions or explanation of what trees need trimming and which do not, in addition, what to cut/not cut for good growth. It was explained to me that they could not "educate" us on what is appropriate for the tree, only that they could perform it. When asked, then how do I know if your services are warranted, she seemed to get defensive and back pedal stating that the consultation may include some Q&A but that they would never recommend services that shouldn't be performed. I guess, this should've been my first warning flag, however, I proceeded to schedule an appt for the following Tuesday (their earliest appt time). I asked when the appt was, the lady responded, "I am not sure, I don't have their schedule until Thursday but I can call you and let you know". Surprising, but no return call on Thursday or Friday. I then called for follow-up on Friday afternoon and got the voice mail again. I did not receive a call back until Monday mid-morning where they told me that I would be the first stop on Tuesday morning at 8 am. Approximately 4 hours later, I receive a call informing me that they had to reschedule because the person had to be "on-site" at a different job and that there wouldn't be anyone to come for consultation. Asked to reschedule on Wed or Thurs. Attempted to return their call, again, no answer, only recording. Left a message explaining my disappointment with the lack of professionalism, their lack of availability to speak with clients, no follow-through and general lack of respect for clients. I will not and would not recommend using this service as I can only imagine the remaining problems or issues I would've had if I were to have followed through with using this company.

Emily answered my call and questions quickly. As I described the trees I wanted taken care of, she pulled up the aerial view on the Internet and knew exactly what trees I was talking about, she scheduled george to come out to the house the next day and put together a proposal. After more questions for her, we scheduled the service for the following week, and the whole process took less than seven days. The three men that showed up, were courteous, quick, and cleaned up the mess so there was almost no trace. I miss my tree, but now I don't have to worry about the roots attacking my house! They set the appointment time and they were punctual. I had a good experience with them. One of them had cut a branch that fell into my neighbor's yard though. The pricing seemed comparable to other providers we looked at during that time.

I had previously used Don's Tree Service on two occasions and had called their Arborist John Pace who informed me they were no longer working in my area. John recommended Tree Pros, Inc., I called Emily at Tree Pros and set up and appointment for and estimate. Arborist Brent McCaleb met with me and my neighbor and recommeded complete remov

Very strongly recommended: this is the second time I have hired them and the second time they did a fantastic job at a great price. I got other estimates both times and TreePros was consistently lower (if there was a higher rating than "A" for cost, I would give it to them!). Quality of work was also good: they listened to what I wanted and took care to not damage lawn, sprinklers, and adjacent plants, and cleaned up and removed everything (and I was not home for end of job, but without supervision they ground the stumps down to a very good depth instead of cheating). Brent also gave me some good free advice regarding the health of one of my other trees (I believe he correctly diagnosed the cause of a problem it is having, which is something I would not have thought of). The only negative thing at all that I can say is that they were a couple of weeks out in terms of performing the work, and had to do it in two episodes due to an equipment issue with one of their stump-grinders. But this is nothing unusual, and their communication was excellent and they were totally honest and up-front about both of these issues. Once we scheduled times, they were there as promised with a good crew and got the work done quickly. (The last time they worked for me they also showed up on time and finished job on promised schedule). I'm a very happy customer and strongly recommend this company, which offers quality work at a FANTASTIC price.
