Doral did 3 rooms in 5 days. ( He will move furniture back to the rooms next week ) I hired Bello Hardwood because Dorel had 17+years experience in the floor refinishing business. He told us that our satisfaction of his finished work was very important to his company. He also said he did the work with his assistant and would always be at the job and he was. He matched the floor stain with our existing stairs. My floors looked NEW! Doral was always on time, professional, went out of his way to explain the refinishing process and always cleaned up at the end of the day (3:00 PM) He was very easy to work with. We interviewed 5 companies and felt confident that Bello Hardwood Flooring would do the best job. And we were right. We will hire him again when we do the other rooms.

Durrell was very knowledgeable, professional and meticulous. His helpers were very courteous and professional as well. Kellie and I are very satisfied with his work and we highly recommend him.

Dorel and his assistant were outstanding professionals from the beginning to the end of our job. They advised us on how to get the flooring we wanted, got the materials to our house, worked efficiently and took great care to install our engineered floor well. They helped move our heavy possessions, put pads on them, and returned them when each room was completed to our satisfaction. The craftsmanship was evident in each step of the job. While in our living space for the ten days it took from start to finish they were always gentlemen.

Dorel did a phenomenal job on everything from the initial estimate all the way through the final walk through. Him and his crew were timely and always cleaned up after each day to make sure during the project your home is as “livable” as possible. With our 2 young kids that wasn’t an easy task. Dorel and his 2 helpers removed the carpet and 2 layers of vinyl the first day and got the concrete flooring ready for installation. they started installation of new flooring. they finished the second day with the installation of the flooring and all the new base boards and other floor moldings. Removed carpet, pad, tack strips and existing baseboards in dinning room and living room for total of 318 SF. Removed 2 layers of vinyl in kitchen (120SF) and installed new vinyl planks in Kitchen, family room and dinning room(440 SF).

I recently hired Dorel Solovastru with Bello Hardwood Flooring to do our floors. I was at Curves and overheard a conversation the woman next to me was having with another member. Dorel was just completing her floors and she was just thrilled with the job he had done for her. I immediately got his name and number. Dorel was so helpful with choosing the hardwood and saved us 10% on the material. Dorel was able to get us on his schedule and shortly after our hardwood was in he started on the installation. We had over 2,000 sq ft of tile to remove . Dorel and his team moved all the heavy furniture for us. They showed up every morning at 7:30 and worked until 5 and they always vacuumed the entire house before leaving. Dorel thought it would take 3 weeks to complete the job but finished in just 15 days. When the job was complete they moved all the heavy furniture back in. We could not be more pleased with our floors and Dorel. He was such a friendly hard working man and his workmanship is stunning.

We had an amazing experience with Bello Hardwood Flooring. Dorel was one of the kindest, most professional people we have worked with. His work was remarkable and he was easy to work with. His professionalism extended to being kind and patient with our dog who enjoyed his attention. A job like this takes time and he was punctual and kept in the given timeline. Bello Hardwood Floors is a professional outfit from start to finish. They are perhaps the only builder/contractor/craftsperson I have ever hired who was punctual each morning, who stuck to his proposed calendar exactly, whose original bid was exactly what we paid (except for a few hundred dollars added due to a problem with our house's structure only revealed once work was started), and whose good will and integrity and commitment to service are absolute. Best of all, the craftsmanship and attention to detail are impeccable. I will definitely hire them again is we need more work on our floors.

One of best contractors I have hired. Responds promptly to texts, phone calls, and emails and easy to communicate with as Dorel is very clear in his responses. Excellent quality work and craftsmanship with resultant beautiful hardwood floors as pays attention to details and with project finished in estimated time frame because his crew is very punctual. We were very impressed with Dorel and the quality of his work. Besides his obvious great work ethic, he is professional, friendly, helpful, punctual, tidy, etc. He arrived every day when he said he would, and was very good at communicating and answering our questions. We would highly recommend him to anyone and will definitely call him again when we are ready to do our kitchen floors.

The measure of a man is not so much in how he does his job, but in how he keeps his word, and how he responds to problems that arise. We have had a parade of tradesmen through our house in the past month. Some showed up on time, performed their job to a high standard and cleaned up after themselves, others came late, if at all, did a ****** job and left a mess. Dorel belongs to the former group - I had scheduled him a couple of months out - he arrived when he said he would with his crew and went about the job professionally and kept all work areas spotless. (I think my garage might look cleaner now than before.) Were there hiccups along the way? Yes. We have an old house. There was an asbestos scare; there was water damage to the subfloor. All of these things delayed the job, but Dorel worked late every day and on Saturday and Sunday too to keep the job on track. He is a good communicator; very responsive to questions. Finally, when the job was over, and I was able to go back in to those rooms, i found a problem. Dorel did three things: 1, he apologized, 2, he accepted responsibility for the problem, and 3, he corrected it right away. It's this latter part that impressed me most about Dorel, a man who keeps his word.Land

Dorel was excellent in every aspect of this project. Timely and clear communications, fair pricing, excellent installation. He’s very professional and proactive in dealing with unexpected issues. As an example, after pulling up carpet he found the adjoining hardwood had been incorrectly glued down, causing difficulties in connecting the two floors. He showed me the issue and provided several options. I appreciated his approach and commitment to excellence.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Bello Hardwood Flooring to install random plank hardwood floors throughout our house. From meeting the owner, Dorel, for our initial visit to the completion of the installation of our wood floors he was professional and thorough. He returned phone calls and emails in a timely manner. When we first met with him prior to signing the contract he guided us through the process of purchasing the flooring we had decided on, provided us with measurements and estimate, explained in detail the methods he used for demolition of tile and removal of carpet, underlayment he would use, transitions from hardwood to the existing tile in bathrooms, direction of wood installation to optimize layout and visual esthetics, estimated duration for demolition and installation of new flooring, information on furniture pads we would need to purchase to protect the floors from scratches and enable ease of moving furniture. On the first day of the project Dorel and his assistant arrived early to the job site ready to work. Dorel took the time to explain once again what to expect that day and the next several days. As the first order of business was to remove ceramic tile in the kitchen and entryway of the house they proceeded to wrap plastic around all the kitchen cabinets. In addition, they provided a dust barrier in the hallway to keep dust from filtrating to the bedrooms. The demolition of the tile took over twice as long to remove as Dorel had anticipated as it had been installed in such a manner to not be easily removed. He had to manually chip away at the tile 1” at a time. It refused to come out in any larger chunks than that! But he persisted and although very frustrated with the amount of time and the difficulty of the job, Dorel always greeted us with a smile. He most definitely got more than his fair share of a workout the two solid days he spent breaking up the tile. Meanwhile his assistant made many trips to their trailer with the tile chips and constantly cleaned up the areas that had been demolished. After the tile was completely removed it was time to pull out the carpets. We made sure to empty out movable furniture and Dorel and Daniel moved the furniture. As we continued to live in the house during the entire time all this was taking place Dorel would only cut out portions of the carpet so that areas they would not complete installation of the flooring by the end of the day were left still intact to provide us the least amount of disruption. Dorel took meticulous measurements to come up with the best layout for the floors accounting that multiple rooms in the main portion of the house were contiguous. As the planks of flooring were put into place Dorel constantly watched for and discarded any flooring with imperfections that would compromise the floors. As our flooring has different tones in the natural wood finish Dorel made sure on placement for visual impact. As Dorel came to know that I really liked the planks that had visual texture he made sure to place those pieces where they most likely would not be covered by furniture. He was constantly watching the overall floor layout to ensure that the random planks were staggered throughout the room. Each morning and at the end of the day we would have a short meeting to coordinate what his plans were and what we had to do to be ready for the next day. Communication was key to this project. Every morning before they started any work they would sweep and vacuum all the floors to ensure that there wouldn’t be any debris that could possibly scratch the floors during the day’s work. And every afternoon prior to leaving they would always thoroughly sweep and vacuum inside and clean up outside before they left. In addition, they would place tools and equipment into one small corner of a room to minimize impact on us. Every morning they would arrive on time or slightly early and always greet us with smiles and enthusiasm. Coupled with the daily detailed communication we had with Dorel and their positive attitudes made for a stress-free environment. We were constantly informed of what they were doing. They made sure to install felt pads (owner supplied) on every piece of furniture to avoid scratching the floors and to make it easy to move furniture. The floors came out beautifully and were completed a day early in spite of difficulties with the tile at the very beginning. A big two thumbs up to Bello Hardwood Flooring! We would not hesitate to recommend this very professional business to install wood flooring. They are honest, dependable, courteous, and their workmanship is A-1. On top of everything, we saved over 25% when compared to other bids!! Plus, he moved our heavy furniture and 800lb grand piano at no extra charge, saving us an additional $1000+.

There is so much to say about Dorel and his team; they were amazing. We were in a panic because of scheduling mishaps with other subs and called Dorel based on Angie's List reviews. Couldn't believe our good fortune that he could be on site with only a few days' notice. He had great ideas when confronted with challenges (this is a 70 year old home). He didn't skip a beat when he tore up the old flooring only to find the previous owner had put pieces of cardboard and carpeting scraps as underlayment. Work was done on time, on budget, workmanship was stellar. He was in constant contact via phone or text with pictures. He asked lots of questions so there was clear understanding as to expectations. The job site was always clean and quiet. We wish there more service providers like him. When we're ready to do the "man-cave", we'll definitely call him again.

It was a very good experience from start to finish. We received a quote and then scheduled the job at his first availability. Dorrel was easy to work with and they did a great job. They came on time every time, explained the process, completed the work on time and followed up to be sure we were happy with the completion. Such great customer service!! We are very happy with the finished product and would definitely recommend them for hardwood refinishing.

This is the 2nd time Dorel has worked on our home. I have recommended him to friends who have had him replace their flooring as well--they are all extremely happy with his work. He is professional, detail oriented, meticulous, and honest.

I found Bello Hardwood through Angie’s List. We needed the work scheduled soon. Dorel was very responsive. He was working close by so he came over, measured, checked a few spots for possible replacement and explained the process very thoroughly. We had several places that required new boards. He checked all dark spots to make sure they could be sanded to the original color or if they needed to be replaced. In deciding on stain color, he applied the choices on the sanded floor rather than just provide samples. He started and finished in the time he said. It was also pretty clean. He has a machine with a great filter that captures everything. I could not have asked for anyone better. He is very professional, takes time to explain to novices. He stayed on schedule.

We were very pleased with Dorel and his work. We got a few quotes and selected Dorel because his price was competitive and he was the most professional and knowledgeable out of everyone we spoke with. He answered all of our questions and was responsive whenever we contacted him. He always responded the same day. He arrived on time with his nephew to sand and refinish our floors and always kept us informed about the progress and what he was going to do next. He put plastic over everything to keep all of our cabinets and counters clean (even though there is minimal dust with the sander/vacuum they use). Dorel and his crew did an absolutely amazing job removing the old tile flooring, prepping the area and intalling the new enginerred hardwood floors. They always kept me informed, performed all of their work on time and demonstrated the highest level of craftsmanship. They surpassed my expectations in both the quality of service and installation, and their attention to detail is engrained in everything they do. They are a class act. Would absolutely hire them again and recommend them to everyone in need of hardwood flooring in the Sacramento area.

I am so happy to recommend Dorel, his nephews, and Bello Hardwood floors. We purchased a home and called Dorel, thinking that we could just refinish the floors. But, we were not able to refinish them, and I'm glad, because the new floors are beautiful. Dorel helped us every step of the way, looking at floor samples and making suggestions. He was able to fit us into his schedule early so that we could get the floors installed and ready for our move into the house. They did an amazing job, tearing up the old floors and installing the new floors. The finishing around the island in the kitchen and in rounded hall areas is perfect and beautiful. He had to pull up carpets in some areas, and when they were done, he had the carpets stretched and cleaned. They look better than when we bought the house! Dorel is very hardworking, professional, and a really nice guy :) I'm very happy to recommend him.

AMAZING!! Dorel Solovastru was the installer along with his two nephew helpers. I can't say enough about their work-ethic, professionalism and quality of work at a fair price. Not to mention being VERY nice guys to work with. Dorel went on and beyond what I hired him to do in helping place area rugs, moving furniture around, putting pads on all furniture feet I could go on and on. The thing that impressed me most was he was in our driveway at exactly 7:30 a.m. EVERY morning until the job was finished. To be honest I was kinda depressed when the job was finished because I really enjoyed seeing him in action every day. He is an expert in installing floors. I didn't realize what a art it was. Very impressive!! I highly recommend him big time.

He had an “A” rating but what interested me most was what his clients had to say about his work ethic...that he was professional, easy to work with and meticulous. They were absolutely right. Bello Hardwood Flooring is a locally owned small business. Dorel’s nephews are his “crew”. They all were considerate and polite. In addition, Dorel was careful to let us know each step of the process so we always knew what was going to be done the next day. They also cleaned up at the end of each day and stored their tools out of the way. I had health issues the week he started and Dorel was thoughtful enough to begin at the other end of our house so that I could recuperate. Dorel is a skilled artisan.
