Description of Work: Highly recommended. We used $5000 coupon for our bathroom remodeling. We ended up using a few thousand dollars for extra work, but Charles and his staff are highly dedicated to their work. He made sure to take care of everything needed for the project and finished up the project in the way that went beyond my expectation. He knows the project/work very well, and his team was very nice. He sent all the paperwork online, and made sure we are on the same page.

Description of Work: They removed an existing screen security door and replaced it with a new one. The previous install removed part of the stucco around the frame making the opening larger. The company pointed this out and explained the steps needed to resolve. Although more work and material was required the price was still near the original estimate. The worker arrived on time and completed the job in a reasonable time.

Description of Work: Work included:Installation of electrical switch, installation of motor in backyard fountain and repairing of irrigation hose also in back yard. Completed all of the above in the two hours. Good job, punctual and professional.

Description of Work: Contractor asked for list of work to be done in the 2 hours paid for via email the day before service. The person who arrived wrote up only the 1st of the three items in my absence and completed it in 45 minutes, then started to leave. After I returned, we had to waste a lot of time arguing with his boss, and he did the second item on the list, insisting that it was "extra" work, even though they had asked for and received the list in advance. After completing the second item on the list, he left after only 1 1/2 hours. The third item on the list was never done. Apparently the email list was not transmitted to the worker, and he did not want to perform 2 hours of labor. I reminded the business owner that such "auditions" of his performance were not likely to lead to reengagement, and after many harsh words from him, he finally agreed to complete the list, but we did not trust him to return to our home.

Description of Work: Repaired outdoor dining table; sanded, primed and painted three coats of stain on railings and wood benches. It was the best job we've had on the rails & benches. Having them come back to do some more outdoor furniture.

The communication was great as we rescheduled several times because of the fire and conflict. The deal they had also made it easier for us to get a bit more done.

Description of Work: Through no fault of their own, they were unable to perform the work needed. I spoke with the owner, Charles Gilbert, and he agreed that we could get a refund.

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal. The company came out to give me an estimate for services. He wanted to charge an additional $300 on top of the price of the big deal. This was just to hang three pictures, 1 mirror, and fix one drawer. It just seemed a little high.

Description of Work: We have a very heavy mirror and several heavy pictures to be hung. I informed the provider that the pieces were heavy and he agreed that it would take two people to do the job. One person showed up and he agreed he could not do it alone. I said I would reschedule. He left, only to come back asking me to sign something which I would not do. I then got a call from someone telling me they wanted to do an estimate and that's when I said, this is getting too complicated. I'm requesting a refund.
