CALIFORNIA CUSTOM LANDSCAPE

The landscape went very well and was done on time as agree to as I was needing the work completed so that my renters could move in.

The work was completed in a satisfactory manner. They were punctual and professional.

They're pretty good. They are excellent. They were kind of expensive. They had multiple crews anywhere from 2 to 6 or 7 guys. It took about 4 months. It was pretty nice. They did design really well. They are very friendly, very good service, easy to talk to and easy to work with.

It was a free estimate. The quote was good. I'm not sure if I can afford it which has nothing to do with them. It worked out great for my needs. It's still being determined if I will use them.

We had the work done two years ago, but I posted a review on another site. I decided to post here and let people know how absolutely pleased we are that Henry and his team (Mike was great!) took on our project. They met our very tight budget demands, provided us with fantastic professionals to ensure our project was done well, to code, and on time! Wonderful work. We have been enjoying our yard year round ever since. After the recent rains I wanted to let Henry know that all of the drainage he designed (it was extensive!) worked great. We haven't had any drainage problems. Thank you soooooo much. Great job! I highly recommend California Custom Landscaping. We are saving up to do the front yard :)

CA Custom was amazing and I'm only sorry I didn't write this review sooner so that I could give you more details. I was surprised b/c their quote was so reasonable, I thought maybe they would cut corners, but they didn't. They cleaned up the site after work, every day; the workers were very courteous and considerate. They were very patient w/my indecisiveness regarding tile selection and everything turned out beautifully!

It was professional and exactly what we were looking for at the time. I would recommend them.

We got several estimates and California Custom Landscape out performed the competition. Not only did they work with our budget the work was high quality for the price. Henry was the only one of the vendors who's use of design complimented the architectural features of our home and space. He was very well versed in which plants and trees would look best as well as knowledgeable about safety and building codes. Anna & Henry were very responsive to emails & phone calls, patiently answering all of our questions. The only reason for the "B" grade for responsiveness is because once we were ready to begin our project the company was a few weeks out completing other jobs. The flip side is that they don't blow through the work- it's very well done and every effort is made to satisfy the customer. During the project the area was kept neat & clean. Not on my would we use this company again, we have already recommended them to friends. California Custom is definitely worth the wait!

Henry is a rare find as he has a sharp eye for detail and design as well as an excellent business acumen. I know he has a a great deal of experience as he use to shadow his dad after school when his father did a complete landscaping of my previous residence some 28 years ago. It was fate that I was able to reconnect with him. His crew is extremely professional and prompt. I could not ask for a better experience.

Excellent. After meeting with several other landscape company's we decided to go with California Custom Landscape because of their expertise. We were novices in this process and Henry made all the difference. We told him basically what we wanted and he gave us multiple suggestions as to how we could go about completing the job. He never gave us any lip service by doing what ever he wanted to do regardless of what we asked. He was very thorough and detailed in the planning stage and made contact with us few times a week during the whole process. Oh, and did I mention we had a hard deadline that they met and even exceeded. The workers were very polite and made a point of cleaning up at the end of each day. We were extreamly pleased with the whole process. Henry and Mike were extreamly professional and knowledgeable about the whole process. A complete joy to work with (even with the hassle of going through a remodel).

Henry and his crew were a complete joy to work with. We couldn't be happier. Very professional, genuinely care about every detail and strive for your complete satisfaction. We threw them some curveballs and they didn't mind at all. It was a real pleasure and has been the best experience for a major project that we have ever had. We will definitely have them out again for our next project.

everything went smoothly as henry was always knowledgeable about the work I wanted performed his brother mike ran the work crew and they were all good workers and professional work was completed very timely and my wife and I were very pleased with the end result. my only issue was price and not being able to get any discount on a angis list work order, otherwise work performed was great

California Custom Landscape is probably the nicest and easiest contractor I’ve dealt with. Everyone was friendly, and no matter the circumstance I got a quick reply. Henry the owner came out to do the bid, came out the first day I was available. He did a quick measurement and gave me a hand written quote right there on the spot. When I called to hire them, they had a three week out time, which is no problem. There was a little miscommunication on days to start and contacting. However, the day I reached out to them the office and owner both called to ask how they can make it better. Henry went out of his way to get the job done quickly and like a professional. From the demo, prep and laydown everyone I came in contact with was very nice. Showed up in nice work vehicles with the company’s name on them (I’ve been shocked with how many contractors don’t) A large plus was, I was having my current patio extended, they did there best to match it, and to me it looks like it was done at the same time. Great work making the breaks in the cement the same pattern as before. Everything went very smooth and to the schedule that I was given before the work started. I could not be more pleased with how the work was done, and without a doubt they will be my first call for any future landscape work! I’m not one to grade everything on an “A” most of the time, but for this company I did. The one small miscommunication we had, the owner went far and beyond to fix it there for overlooking any problem that was had. Thank you very much Henry and for your entire crew, from all the way from the office to the crew.

The Project Manager was great. He was prompt and suggested different alternatives and gave his expert opinion of what he felt should be done. The workers were fantastic. Always on time, hard working, polite, worked quickly, and always made sure when they left our property, it was clean. We never had to do any pick up after their work and both the workers and Project Manager, Henry, went over and above what we had been contracted to do. They made the project go a lot more smoothly than I thought it would and completed the work in a timely manner. From Henry, the field workers and the office staff, I was extremely pleased.

There is a great team at California Custom Landscape. The business if family owned and operated and you can tell from the way Henry and Anna conduct themselves that they are very committed to providing you with a quality product that they can be proud of and you will love. They were both professional and responsive. Their crews worked quickly and efficiently. Henry made sure to check in often to make sure that the job was proceeding as planned and made changes which I decided that I wanted without any fuss. I love the new porch and patio! The crew left my place in better shape than when they arrived which is a nice change from having crews work at your home and then you end cleaning up their trash after they leave. I will definitely be using them again for other projects.

They were the first to call and make an appointment (they were on time) and the first to give an estimate. Not the lowest but on the low side of 4 estimates. When we have the work done CCL will get the call.

I got a prompt estimate, and install date. In less than a week I had a beautiful outdoor barbecue.

they were awesome! very professional. great attention to detail. matched stucco color and texture. company owner was very helpful in choosing the right materials and gave me the best price possible. i would recommend them for any construction or landscaping job on your property.

I don't understand how can I be asked to rate a company when we have agreed but not started the project yet. I don't want to come otff as giving a bad review, but angies list should wait until a client has had a chance to get there job completed before angis list starts bugging said client about a review. any misunderstanding that has come from this situation I apologize for.

They were very low pressure when we were interviewing contractors. Came up with great ideas and was very responsive through the whole process. He always responded quickly to any thought, questions or concerns we had. Great service and the end result was amazing!

All I can say is that it went well. Henry is the best.

Very clear and thorough initial consultation. My back yard get overgrown so quickly that I can't keep up with it. It is becoming an annual event to have a team from California Custom Landscape come out and spend a winter day getting it back into shape. They have also done more specialized jobs involving tree removal and replanting, putting in a drip irrigation system and brickwork. The only problem that I ever had was that some wire vent covers weren't initially installed properly over the vent holes in the brick work. When I pointed it out, they came back later to install them.

The ONLY problem we had was getting my wife and my self to agree on paver colors, wall finishes, types of plants, etc.,etc. The contractor and his people showed the patients of Jobs.

Henry was a very knowledgeable and professional person. He did the estimate for a 1345 sq ft lawn area at my mother's house. We wanted to have the lawn torn out and replaced with stones. She lives in a mobile home park. Unfortunately the cost of the job was much more that we had anticipated. I realized, that they do quality work from his description of the job, but it just was not in our budget so we will be exploring other options.
